Dream team for Survivor Series: WarGames denied by WWE.
Survivor Series: WarGames is going to be WWE’s next and final premium live event of the year. It will take place on November 29 at Petco Park in San Diego, California. As of this writing, only two matches have been announced so far, which are the titular Men’s and Women’s matches.
For the men’s matches, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso are already the confirmed competitors, as they will go against The Vision, including Logan Paul. Both teams still need two additions. The babyface team is packed with World Champions, but as it turns out, two more top stars may have joined the team.
Roman Reigns And John Cena “Not Even Close” To Being Part Of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Team
In a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shared that since John Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio already took place this week on Monday Night RAW for the Intercontinental title, the Grand Slam champion could join the babyface WarGames team, along with Roman Reigns. However, that wouldn’t be the case.
I thought the idea, now that Cena already beat Dominik for the title, I thought that means that that match is not happening in San Diego, and I don’t know that that’s what it means or not. So, I figured, why not do, Cena, Roman Reigns, Punk, Jey Uso, and what’s the other one, and Cody Rhodes, and make it like a dream team, for the Babyface team in War Games. Now, I can tell you that that’s not happening, because I thought, like, what a great idea, and I was just told, ‘not even close.’”
For the women’s WWE WarGames match, the first team comprises Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair. While the other team is composed of Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and The Kabuki Warriors, both still need one more addition to their groups.
