A WWE star is making his way back from a serious injury that sidelined him earlier this year.
His girlfriend, who also works as a wrestler, recently opened up about his recovery process, giving fans some hope that they’ll see him wrestling again soon. The update comes several months after he had to step back from competing due to his injury, and things are looking positive so far for his return.
Noam Dar suffered an injury in June that forced him to vacate the NXT Heritage Cup Championship. The timing was particularly difficult because he had only returned from an 11-month absence just two months before this latest setback. Dar had originally suffered a leg injury in May 2024 when Ethan Page attacked him, with Dar revealing that his tendon had been ripped off the bone.
Aleah James, Dar’s girlfriend and also a professional wrestler herself, gave an update on his recovery to The A2theK Wrestling Show. She talked about how well things are progressing for him, explaining that Dar is getting physically stronger every day and can do more with his body than he could before. She said they’re both excited and waiting for the day he can step back into the ring.
When discussing his progress, James said,
Yeah, it’s going along really well. Getting stronger and being able to do more and more. So, it’s just looking for that return. We’re ready, we’re waiting. He’s gonna be better and stronger than ever so, we’re looking forward to that.” (H/T: Fightful)
Dar made his return to in-ring action on April 22, 2025, defeating Lexis King to win the NXT Heritage Cup for a record-setting fourth time. His last match was at an NXT live event on June 13, 2025, before the injury forced him out of action.

Noam Dar’s Problems Following His Injury on WWE NXT
Following the Meta-Four’s official disbanding in April 2025, where the faction members announced they were pursuing individual ventures, Dar was one of the last remaining active members of the group. Before the June injury, Dar had led the faction in NXT, which included Lash Legend and Oro Mensah, along with Jakara Jackson. When Dar suffered his June injury, the group had already officially disbanded, though Mensah and Jackson were released by WWE shortly after the split was announced.
NXT GM Ava officially announced on June 21, 2025, that Dar would have to relinquish the Heritage Cup due to injury. The exact nature of this June injury has not been publicly disclosed by WWE officials, though some reports have suggested a possible torn pectoral muscle that could require significant recovery time.
