WWE Star Pitched For A Goldberg-Like Run, Leading To WrestleMania Match Against Rhea Ripley

A major WWE star should get a ‘Goldberg-type’ run culminating in a WrestleMania match against Rhea Ripley.

Goldberg’s WCW undefeated streak is one of the most legendary records in all of professional wrestling. It began in September 1997, when he made his televised debut on Monday Nitro, and lasted for 174 days, with an official approximate count of 173-0 wins.

Now, a former WWE star, Matt Morgan, wants a current WWE champion, Jade Cargill, to get a Goldberg-type push from the company. Following her title win at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Salt Lake City, Utah, Morgan shared a tweet, captioning,

Cargill has been a dominant figure in professional wrestling, even before she joined WWE. However, her recent heel turn and title win garnered much acclaim from the wrestling community. If a proper plan and road map are implemented for the Storm to dominate, she could become the next big thing in the promotion.

Jade Cargill For a Goldberg-Type Push, Leading To WWE WrestleMania Match Against Rhea Ripley

Cargill, known for her impressive physique and in-ring presence, finally reached the top of the SmackDown women’s division after months of failed attempts. Despite winning the Queen of the Ring 2025 tournament, she lost her title shot at SummerSlam when Tiffany Stratton was at her peak.

After getting tired of losing the title while playing honestly, Cargill was fed up, and she snapped. She turned on Stratton after rescuing her from the attacks of Kiana James and Giulia. She justified it by saying that she is setting out to capture power in WWE, starting with the Women’s Championship, and she won it in her first title shot after turning heel.

If such an already dominant wrestler gets such a massive push, they are guaranteed to pop off. To finally bring an end to this run, WWE could set up a WrestleMania match against the other biggest women’s star in the company, Rhea Ripley. The build-up for this match, the promos, the intensity, and the ending would be perfect to keep fans guessing about what could happen next.
