WWE star Chelsea Green has made a huge announcement ahead of a title match.
The star is currently the women’s United States Champion, having won the title for the second time, setting a record. The star is also the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion alongside Ethan Page. The double champion is set to defend the AAA title against Thea Hail and Joe Hendry after being humiliated by the duo on NXT. Before the match, Chelsea Green had sent an important message.
Chelsea Green Is Set To Open WWE NXT Gold Rush
In a video post by the NXT page on X/Twitter, the star was present to announce that she would be opening Gold Rush and would be defending her AAA title alongside Ethan Page against Joe Hendry and Thea Hail.
The star has been a constant presence on the company’s programming and has been one of the most consistent performers on every brand. Green also celebrated the return of her husband, Matt Cardona, to WWE as he became the surprise opponent for LA Knight in the Last Time Is Now tournament.
