WWE RAW’s Booking Slammed as “All About Bron Breakker” in Brutal Breakdown

WWE RAW is catching heat for what some see as a one-track show—getting Bron Breakker over at the expense of everyone else. From interference-filled matches to rinse-and-repeat endings, fans and insiders alike are starting to question if the red brand is stuck in a holding pattern with no clean exits… literally.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez laid into WWE’s creative structure, pointing out how nearly every main event ends with Breakker hitting his signature spear—regardless of who’s across the ring.

“Every main event—Bron Breakker is going to spear everybody,” Meltzer said. “Every week ends with Bron Breakker going over. He spears someone. That’s their long-term goal—it’s Bron Breakker. That’s what this show is booked around.”

Alvarez chimed in, calling attention to how the formula is killing momentum, even in otherwise solid matches.

“These matches are pretty good… and then in virtually every single match: interference directly leading to the finish. Just over and over and over and over again.”

According to Meltzer, WWE has trained its audience to no longer expect clean outcomes.

“They’ve created a situation where fans understand that you don’t get clean finishes—ever, or rarely. That’s what pro wrestling is now: interference to build up the pay-per-view.”

This week’s RAW was no exception. LA Knight, Jey Uso, and Big Jim were ambushed by Breakker and Bronson Reed. After a brutal beatdown, it ended with Jey spearing LA Knight—and the crowd turned on him instantly.

“The crowd booed Jey Uso. I thought that was impossible, but they sure accomplished it,” Meltzer added.

He also compared LA Knight’s current situation to the role Sami Zayn played before being shipped to SmackDown.

“La Knight is in that spot—to be the babyface who has a good match, talks great, and then Bron Breakker spears him at the end of the show.”

RAW has become predictable: start with tension, build with interference, and end with Breakker standing tall. But as the formula gets more obvious, the question is whether fans will keep tuning in—or check out.
