A WWE official recently responded to the allegations, calling them ‘crooked’ and ‘biased.’
Becky Lynchâ€s recent claims against WWE referee Jessika Carr have set social media ablaze. After losing the mixed tag-team match to AJ Lee at Wrestlepalooza this Sunday, Lynch accused Carr of blatant bias and called her ‘crooked.’ Lynch backed up her claim with ‘unedited footage’ showing a rogue bee interrupting the matchâ€s final moments. In the post, Lynch wrote that she had not tapped out in over six years. She insisted that if Carr had stopped to help her fight off the insect predator, she would have won. Now, Carr has broken her silence on the allegations.
In response, Carr quoted Lynchâ€s allegations on social media and replied flatly: “Becky, you tapped out. And itâ€s not just me saying it.”
Carr took shots at Lynch’s own dialogue, stating, “I’m the best female wrestler of all time, and it’s not just me saying it, Sports Illustrated says it.” Lynchâ€s posts include footage that she claims is unedited, though observers have noted that the version shared publicly shows an animated bee overlaid onto the moment Lynch appears to tap. She also uploaded the images of Carr with CM Punk, showing an old connection leading to the bias.

Carr’s tweet states that she was sure of Lynch tapping to Lee’s Black Widow submission hold. She didn’t notice any bees during the match’s decisive moments and totally refuted Lynch’s claims.
The Historic WWE Wrestlepalooza Mixed Tag Team Match
At Wrestlepalooza on September 20, 2025, AJ Lee and her husband CM Punk defeated Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins in a mixed tag team match. This marked AJ’s first in-ring action since retiring from WWE in 2015. The champion couple spent the first half of the match strategically isolating Punk to prevent him from tagging in his wife. Whenever Punk got close to tagging Lee, Lynch and Rollins would distract the referee or pull Lee off the ring apron.
After taking a beating, Punk dodged a GTS attempt from Rollins, who was mocking Lee’s signature skip. This created an opening for Punk to hit a real GTS, which allowed him to finally crawl over and make the hot tag to Lee. The crowd exploded as Lee entered the match. She immediately hit Lynch with a Thesz press and her signature 10 punches in the corner, showing impressive offense despite her 10-year absence from the ring.
The final stretch of the match descended into chaos, with all four competitors getting involved and even hitting each other’s finishers. Lynch threw Lee from one announcer’s table into Punk and Rollins, who were standing on another table, causing all three to crash through it. Lynch quickly rolled Lee back into the ring for the Manhandle Slam, but a waiting Lee was able to counter the finisher and lock in her Black Widow submission hold.
