When WWE first posted the teaser clip for WrestleMania 42, it stirred a commotion in the wrestling fraternity. The official poster featured all male stars, including Brock Lesnar, who, ever since his WWE return at SummerSlam, had been deemed controversial due to his association with the Vince McMahon lawsuit.
Additionally, the poster did not feature a female talent. The uproar is a testament to the dismissiveness towards the women’s division when they are at the forefront and vital to the WWE roster. The absence of stars like Rhea Ripley, IYO Sky, and the like did not sit well with the fans.
The go-home edition of RAW for Survivor Series: WarGames featured both the men’s and women’s teams getting involved in chaotic brawls.
During RAW, a cryptic video aired featuring a woman’s tattooed hands running their fingers over a wine glass. It abruptly ended with ‘4 days’ flashing on the screen. While the timeline matches with Survivor Series: WarGames this weekend, the text was stylized in the same manner as the WrestleMania 42 promo clip earlier. The tattoos on the match matched with Rhea Ripley, which WWE fans were quick to put two and two together.

Whether it was the aftermath of the WrestleMania 42 teaser backlash or a pre-planned component of the Premium Live Event’s promotion, that remains uncertain. With the top-notch talent in the women’s division in 2025, it was high time the women got their own promotional teaser for the mega WWE Event.
The Women Are Ready For WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
Becky Lynch introduced her teammates – The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane), Nia Jax, and Lash Legend. She further highlighted her rivalry with Asuka in the past and the 2018 incident with Nia Jax shortly before Survivor Series that left her with a broken nose and a concussion. The injury forced Lynch to be replaced by Charlotte Flair at the Premium Live Event.
Rhea Ripley walked out with her team – IYO Sky, Alexa Bliss, AJ Lee, and Charlotte Flair. The Man trash-talked the opposing team in the ring, which ended in a brawl among all the women. Flair and Ripley seemingly patched things up as they were united in their takedown of Nia Jax and Lash Legend.
The Premium Live Event is slated for November 29, boasting two WarGames Matches. Dominik Mysterio gets his rematch for the Intercontinental Title against John Cena. Meanwhile, Stephanie Vaquer puts her Women’s World Championship on the line against Nikki Bella.
