Round 9 of the Serie A1 Tigotà Regular Season was one to remember! Paola Egonu reached the incredible mark of 6,000 career points in Italyâ€s top competitions, joining an elite group of volleyball legends.

Her team, Vero Volley Milano, defeated Il Bisonte Firenze 3–1. After losing the first set 24–26, Milano dominated with a strong blocking game — 14 total blocks, six from Sartori — and won the next three sets 25–13, 25–18, 25–17. The match also celebrated Vita Akimovaâ€s return after more than a year away from the court.
At the top of the table, Imoco Conegliano continued its perfect run, sweeping Macerata 3–0 (16–25, 12–25, 26–28), despite missing De Gennaro and Wolosz. Marina Lubian claimed MVP honors with 11 points and a stellar 71% in attack, while Gabi led all scorers with 16. In another top clash, Savino Del Bene Scandicci overpowered Chieri 3–0, rallying to take a tight first set 26–24 before closing out 25–22 and 25–17. Avery Skinner earned MVP with 15 points (60% attack rate), while Antropova added 20; Németh scored 22 for Chieri.
UYBA Busto Arsizio found its rhythm again with a clean 3–0 win over Cuneo (25–22, 25–19, 25–22). Obossa led with 19 points, Parra was named MVP (14).
There was no shortage of drama in the other matches. Novara battled past Vallefoglia in a five-set thriller (15–13 in the decider), with MVP Mayu Ishikawa scoring 20 and Alsmeier 18. On the other side, Omoruyi (26) and Bici (22) shone for Vallefoglia. Perugia pulled off an incredible comeback against Bergamo, overturning a 0–2 deficit to win 3–2 thanks to MVP Nika Markovic (15). Despite huge efforts from Kipp (28) and Cese Montalvo (27), Bergamo fell short. Meanwhile, Wash4Green Monviso Volley stunned San Giovanni, fighting back from two sets down to win 3–2. Silvia Dâ€Odorico led the charge and took MVP honors with 23 points, while Piovesan and Bracchi both scored 22 for the home team.
