WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event this month had Triple H missing from one of the most crucial moments he is normally expected to be in.
With the rise in WWE’s premium live events and shows, Triple H has been quite hands-on in his appearances on the shows. Unlike Vince McMahon, Hunter does not seem to shy away from public appearances. He is often seen congratulating and posing with stars after they have won a new title. Furthermore, pictures of these moments have come to be expected by fans at the end of every show.
The recent SNME featured a number of title matches, which resulted in a title change involving Jade Cargill. Meanwhile, CM Punk also bagged gold at the show, taking down Jey Uso to win the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Title.
Interestingly, Triple H was nowhere to be seen and did not even click his customary pictures with the titleholders.
The WWE CCO Was Absent From The Show
A recent report from Fightful Select stated that both Triple H and Bruce Prichard were absent from the latest installment of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The report claimed that both Triple H and Bruce Prichard were present at the latest episode of SmackDown before Saturday Night’s Main Event, but curiously decided to skip SNME. Furthermore, it was also noted that Road Dogg had returned backstage, despite not being around in the last few weeks.
Triple H’s absence from such a high-profile WWE event naturally raises questions. However, it seems unlikely that the reason for his behavior will be revealed anytime soon. In his absence, the titleholders were seen taking pictures with each other.
As of now, fans are waiting to see how CM Punk’s run as the new World Heavyweight Champion and Jade Cargill’s tenure as the WWE Women’s Champion pan out.
