Drumchapel Glasgow lead the way as they chase a hat-trick of Womenâ€s British Clubs League, Premier Division titles, but they did not have things all their own way on weekend one.
A record total of 44 teams were in action at WV Active Aldersley in Wolverhampton. Flick from Division Three were Team of the Weekend. The Player of the Weekend award went to Luna Archard of Division 2 outfit Greenhouse (pictured above with Table Tennis England President Jill Parker MBE).

Drumchapel are unbeaten, but were held to two draws and have a two-point lead over Wensum and Ormesby.
The champions started with a 4-2 win over Wensum as Hannah Silcock – who beat world No 143 Debora Vivarelli at the WTT Star Contender London last month – taking a double.
Ella Pashley, who herself had two big wins at the Copper Box Arena, sealed the victory in the final match as she overcame Aleksandra Titievskaja 3-2 (11-13, 11-6, 11-6, 9-11, 11-6) as Drumchapel came from 2-1 down.
The Glasgow side also beat Ormesby 4-2 in Round 3 – Ormesby twice levelled through Mia Oâ€Rahilly Eganâ€s double, the second of which was a 3-2 (9-11, 11-5, 10-12, 11-9, 11-9) win over Silcock.
Despite beating their closest rivals, Drumchapel dropped a point against the two teams which ended the weekend in the bottom two places. Joola Plymouth held them 3-3 in the second round as Yat Sum Ma scored a double and Alyssa Nguyen beat Bethany Oâ€Connell 3-2 (11-5, 10-12, 6-11, 11-5, 11-5) in the final match as Plymouth recovered from 2-1 and 3-2 down.
The other 3-3 draw was in the final round against Draycott, who came from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 before Pashley beat Eva Eccles in the final match to seal a draw and an unbeaten weekend for Drumchapel. It was Draycottâ€s only point of the weekend and underpinned by Eccles, who had earlier launched a fine comeback to beat Oâ€Connell 3-2 (10-12, 5-11, 11-3, 11-5, 11-3).
As well as both losing to the leaders, Wensum and Ormesby fought out a 3-3 draw, the Middlesbrough outfit coming from 3-1 down to snatch a point, all of their players winning once.
In the averages, Sophie Earley of Wensum leads the way with nine out of 10, one better than Oâ€Rahilly Egan. The pair are separated by Wei Wei Liu of Drumchapel, who won 5/6.
In Division 1, Cippenham are the only unbeaten side, but they drew three of their five matches to sit between leaders Halton and third-placed Worthing, who both have a record of W1 D1 L1, on sets difference – all three clubs are on 7pts.
Cippenhamâ€s draws included their matches against both Worthing and Halton. They led 3-1 against the former, but Holly Holder and Darcie Proud pegged them back. Against Halton, they twice trailed and then led 3-2, before Joanne Keighley beat Anna Piercey in three close games to snatch a point for Halton.
The only match between the top three to have a positive result was Worthingâ€s 4-2 defeat of Halton in the final round of matches. It was nicely poised at 2-2 before Worthing won the last two matches in deciding games – Holder beat Keighley 11-8, 11-8, 10-12, 5-11, 12-10 and Proud defeated Clare Peers 11-9, 4-11, 5-11, 11-6, 11-9.
Cippenham pair Rachael Iles and Mia Lakhani sit atop the averages, both having won eight of their 10 matches.
Brighton have a 1pt lead at the top of Division 2, with Draycott II and Ackworth both hot on their heels.
Brighton actually lost their first match 5-1 to Ackworth, but were unbeaten after that, including a 4-2 win over Draycott. They were held 3-3 by a Drumchapel Glasgow II team who themselves also beat Ackworth, while Draycott defeated Ackworth but lost to Greenhouse. All of which means the top five teams are separated by just two points.
In the averages, Greenhouseâ€s Jonabel Taguibao and Brightonâ€s Teresa Bennett both won 9/10.
Flick head Division 3 with a 100% record – in fact, the division had no drawn matches and the W column reads 5-4-3-2-1-0.
The leaders, whose nearest challengers are Cleeve Park, were dominant, only losing two individual matches, both of which were in the final round against bottom-placed Halton – though one of those was with the match already won.
Flick players dominate the averages, Lok Yee Lo and Meige Wang both winning a full complement of 10, and Binyu Zhao winning 8/8.
WW Lightning also have a 100% record to lead Division 4 by three points from Drumchapel Glasgow III.
The leaders werenâ€t as dominant as Flick, with four of their victories by 4-2 scorelines. Though they were never behind, they did have to win the last two matches against both Drumchapel and Graham Spicer.
In the averages, Graham Spicerâ€s Chui-Que Wong leads the way with 9/10.
Halton III head Division 5 and are unbeaten, though they are only a point ahead of Sherwood Oak having dropped a point in a draw against Draycott III, coming from 3-1 down in that match in Round 4. Draycottâ€s Kate Watkinson won twice in that one, including 17-15 in the fifth against Grace Williams – Williams†only defeat in eight matches.
Halton IIIâ€s Tsz In Ria Wun won 6/6 to lead the averages – Amy Wells of Sherwood Oak is the best of those who played the full weekend, with 9/10.
Falmouth Docks are top of the eight-team Division 6 on eight points, having won three and drawn two to sit a point clear of three teams on 7pts – Ellenborough II, Brighton B and Continental Stars.
The two draws were against Ellenborough, against whom they trailed three times but levelled on every occasion, and Brighton, in which they were 2-0 and 3-2 up.
Falmouthâ€s Saki Stratton and Shazia Tariz of Continental Stars both won 9/10, but are behind Isobel Langridge of Brighton in the averages, the latter having won all eight of her matches.
