Tony Khan has officially unveiled the tournament bracket that will crown the very first ROH Women’s Pure Champion. The announcement came just hours before ROH Death Before Dishonor, confirming the lineup after months of delays due to injuries across the roster.
Khan first revealed plans for the new championship back in April, telling fans that he wanted to expand opportunities for women in Ring of Honor. Those plans were briefly pushed back, but now the tournament is locked in and kicking off tonight.
The bracket includes some of the biggest names in women’s wrestling today:
- Taya Valkyrie vs. Queen Aminata
- Deonna Purrazzo vs. Trish Adora
- Billie Starkz vs. Olympia
- Serena Deeb vs. Yuka Sakazaki
The first match, Taya Valkyrie vs. Queen Aminata, is set to take place live during ROH Death Before Dishonor, officially beginning the road to history as the first Women’s Pure Champion is crowned.
This tournament will not only showcase technical wrestling but will also be a defining moment for Ring of Honor’s women’s division, elevating talent who thrive in a style built on rules, discipline, and pure in-ring ability.
The big question now is simple: which star will cement her name in the history books as the inaugural ROH Women’s Pure Champion?
Who do you think should walk away with the new title? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
