The Rock shared a story on how he almost derailed Barack Obama’s history-changing announcement.
On May 1, 2011, Obama announced that Osama Bin Laden, the notorious former leader of a terrorist group, al-Qaeda, was killed in an operation conducted by the United States Navy SEALs. The announcement was considered a monumental event as Bin Laden’s group was the main perpetrator of the 9/11 attacks at the World Trade Center twin towers in New York City.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter,The Rock revealed that he actually learned about Osama’s killing before the former US President unveiled it to the world through a call from a friend.
The Final Boss added that when he learned about the terrorist’s death, he immediately put out a tweet, but was informed that Obama hadn’t spoken from the podium yet during that time.
“Iâ€ve got a friend of a friend who gave me a call. The call was like, “Hey, this thing happened.†And I said, “Okay, wonderful news.†I was told on the call that the president at that time [Barack Obama] was going to make his speech in 20 minutes or whatever. I said, “Okay, great.†So 20 minutes go by, and at about the 25th minute, I tweet this. Then I get a second call, and the call is, “Yeah, the president didnâ€t go on yet.†And I went, “Oh sh*t,” The Rock detailed.

The Rock Might Be Back In WWE After Hollywood Commitments
Shifting gears to wrestling, The Rock announced that the production of the live adaptation of Moana has been finished, along with Smashing Machinebeing done as well, after its premiere in US theatres back in October.
That could mean only one thing: he now has the free time to accommodate a potential return to WWE. The Final Boss left plenty of storylines, especially his association with John Cena and his involvement with the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes.
Dwayne Johnson says the live-action MOANA remake has fully wrapped production.

It will be interesting to see if the Great One will pick up where he left off in the Stamford-based promotion, especially now that Cena has turned face and Cody is still reigning as WWE Champion.
