Roman Reigns’ rise to stardom is now extending beyond the WWE ring. The longest reigning Universal Champion is now dabbling in multiple acting projects.
Reigns was last seen at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29. He teamed up with Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and The Usos to deal with The Vision, Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul. In the aftermath of the loss, Reigns had a heated confrontation with the Undisputed WWE Champion before walking away.
The OTC’s televised appearances have decreased in recent years per his new WWE deal. He’s been utilizing this time away to focus on his Hollywood career. Roman Reigns and CM Punk voiced Zebros in the Disney animated film Zootopia 2, which was released last month. Prior to this, Reigns had brief roles in The Pickup and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, which featured The Rock.
Now, with Hollywood calling, one actor strongly resembled Roman Reigns – Jason Momoa, known for portraying Aquaman in the DC movies. In an interview from a couple of years ago, Jason cited he heard about the similarities between the two celebrities but never had the opportunity to meet Roman.
Little did Jason Momoa know that, fast forward to 2025, he would be working with Roman Reigns for Street Fighter.

The OTC attended the 2025 Video Game Awards with Cody Rhodes and the cast of Street Fighter. Shortly before, he shared a photo of himself with Jason Momoa, who also stars in Street Fighter, taking on the role of Blanka.

Currently, there is no timeline set for Roman Reigns’ next big WWE appearance. The tension with Cody Rhodes following WarGames implicates another potential title shot for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Reigns was featured in the video tribute for John Cena ahead of his final match this weekend.
