News and notes from AAA Heroes Inmortales.

The main event of Saturdayâ€s show in Mexico City saw Dominik Mysterio successfully defend the AAA Mega Championship against Dragon Lee. Although Lee put up a hell of a fight, he couldnâ€t overcome Mysterioâ€s cleverness. After a ref bump, Mysterio grabbed his boot that Lee took off and smashed him in the head. Mysterio then followed with a frog splash for the victory.

After the match, Hijo del Vikingo came out and attacked Mysterio, bitter over his recent title loss. However, El Grande Americano came out to even the odds, once again helping Mysterio. A match was then set up for AAAâ€s television taping on November 22, where Americano and Mysterio will team up to take on Lee and Vikingo.

The show started off with Vikingo coming out, acting more heelish than on recent shows. He got into a confrontation with Americano, saying neither he or Mysterio are really Mexican, and called himself the Canelo of AAA. Americano responded by saying that the only similarity between the two is that both lost in Las Vegas. The two eventually set up a match for the November 28 taping in Puebla, Vikingoâ€s hometown.

Later backstage, Vikingo ran into Dorian Roldan, who told Vikingo that they have a lot in common.

The Wyatt Sicks made another appearance in AAA, again singling out the AAA Tag Team Champions Psycho Clown and Pagano. After the champions defeated Sanson and Forastero in a street fight, the Wyatt chair appeared. All of the Wyatt Sicks minus Uncle Howdy appeared, laying out Psycho and Pagano. Rowan held up the AAA Tag Team titles after the beatdown, but it remains unclear when theyâ€ll be challenging for the titles.

A major showdown is set for AAAâ€s upcoming November 28 event, as El Hijo del Vikingo will go one-on-one with El Grande Americano following a tense face-off at Heroes Inmortales.

Vikingo kicked off the night by soaking in a chorus of boos from the AAA faithful, many of whom chanted “Alberto†in reference to Alberto Del Rio. Though Del Rio is no longer involved with the promotion in a televised role, his absence was clearly felt by the crowd—and Vikingo didnâ€t take kindly to it.

In response, Vikingo fired back at fans, telling them to “Get over it,†before calling himself “the Canelo of AAA.†He then vowed to win back the AAA Mega Championship and restore his dominance at the top of the card.

The promo was cut short when El Grande Americano stormed the ring and mocked Vikingo in front of the crowd. Vikingo shot back, accusing Grande of not being truly Mexican—but the crowd didnâ€t agree, throwing their support behind the masked American star.

Tensions boiled over as the two brawled in the ring until security was forced to separate them. Before being pulled apart, both men agreed to settle things at AAAâ€s November 28th event.

With national pride, personal insults, and the Mega Title picture all swirling around this feud, their upcoming clash could shape the next chapter of AAAâ€s main event scene.

El Hijo del Vikingo cemented his heel turn during AAA Héroes Inmortales and wasted no time in throwing hands with El Grande Americano. Making his way to the ring, Vikingo rejected the fans, even grabbing a fan’s sign and throwing it to the ground.

Vikingo was met with a chorus of boos at the event, as has been the case at several AAA shows. In the ring, Vikingo spoke of his own greatness, displaying his newfound cocky attitude. Responding to a chant for Alberto El Patron, a popular act during his tenure with AAA, Vikingo laughed off the fan support, telling the crowd to “get over it, haha!”

Vikingo then turned his attention to AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio, who ,despite being a heel in WWE, is loved by fans in AAA. Vikingo pointed out that Mysterio is not Mexican and that Mexican fans are wrong to support him.

“Dominik is not Mexican! He is not Mexican and he is supported by hypocritical people. Yes, I am Mexican and I am the greatest in the whole world, whether you like it or not!”

Vikingo was cut short by El Grande Americano, who like Dom is a heel in WWE but has a wealth of support in AAA. The pair traded some barbs before security intervened.

Americano and Vikingo will battle in Puebla on the November 28, edition of Alianzas AAA. With this new attitude of Vikingo, it remains to be seen if he can reclaim the AAA Mega Championship.
