Jey Uso is heading to Saturday Nightâ€s Main Event for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship—but not everyone is thrilled about it.
After winning a battle royal on the October 20, 2025 episode of WWE RAW in Sacramento, California, Jey Uso secured a spot opposite CM Punk to crown the next champion. WWE stripped Seth Rollins of the title due to injury, and while the match sets up a major showdown, fans online were not having it.
One fan summed up the mood in just a few words, “Nobody wants to see Jey Uso. F** this. #WWERawâ€*
Others pointed out the awkward booking logic. CM Punk pinned Jey just one week ago to become the #1 contender—so having Jey now positioned as his opponent raised eyebrows.
“CM Punk pinned Jey Uso last week to become No.1 contender and what does Triple H do? Letâ€s Jey Uso win the #1 contender match the following week. Good things come to those who wait my ass. Now was the best time to crown LA Knight. 🖕ðŸ»Triple H #WWERawâ€
The pacing of the show didnâ€t help either. Some fans were frustrated they sat through the entire segment only to see Jey come out on top yet again, “Wasted 30 minutes just to see Jey Uso get ANOTHER title shot #WWERawâ€
Others were hit with disappointment as soon as they tuned in, “Turned on raw and the first thing I see is Jey Uso winning the Battle Royal.â€
One fan called on WWE to give someone else a chance and stop circling back to Jey, “Absolutely so sick of this, STOP GIVING HIM TITLE CHANCES! Dear God LA Knight, Dom, AJ or Jimmy were RIGHT THERE.â€
The message is clear—some fans are exhausted with Jey Uso getting constant title opportunities. But WWEâ€s creative direction is set, and now Jey will go head-to-head with CM Punk on November 1 in Salt Lake City for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship.
Do you think Jey Uso deserves this WWE title shot or should have they gone with someone else? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.

It was already advertised that the main event of this weekâ€s Monday Night Raw will be a triple threat match between CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso. During CM Punkâ€s entrance, he received the biggest pop of the night, as the crowd kept singing his entrance song even after the music stopped playing. This match started as a very fast-paced match, and saw many great moments in this match, like LA Knight kicking out of Jey Usoâ€s finishing Uso Splash. This match received “Fight For Forever†chants from the audience multiple times. At the end of the match, as Jey was about to hit his Uso Splash to CM Punk, Punk countered the move and delivered a GTS to Jey Uso, and with that, CM Punk secured the victory in this match and became the number 1 contender for Seth Rollinsâ€s World Heavyweight Championship.
After the match, Seth Rollins and the Vision came out to the ring and attacked CM Punk, and as Raw was about to go off the air, we saw one most shocking moments. This past Saturday night at the Wrestlepalooza PLE, The Usos lost their tag team match against The Visionâ€s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. During last nightâ€s episode of Monday Night Raw, Jey Uso claimed that the reason the Usos lost the match was because of the Megastar LA Knight. Knight was the special guest referee for the match. Uso had wrestled Knight on Raw.
Midway through the match, the Vision ran in and created a distraction. Main Event Jey Uso capitalized and got the win over LA Knight. After the match, the Vision attacked Knight. The ‘Yeet†star walked away and did not help out Knight. This did not sit well with the Megastar. After the show, Knight took to social media to send a message to Jey Uso.
“I donâ€t know what that was man. You know, it is crazy to think that that man could come out here that hot, that pissed off. Now, I got a question, check on the philosophy, if you canâ€t beat ‘em, join ‘em, is that what happened? I know thatâ€s not the truth. I know thatâ€s not what happened. But you damn sure took advantage of what they did. You damn sure took advantage of the damage. Jey, my man, not cool. Very soon, you are going to find exactly how not cool that really is.
“And for the Vision, you already know we got beef going for years, well, not years but at least months, it feels like damn years because itâ€s been that damn long. Itâ€s been that much that Iâ€ve been left laying by the Vision, by anybody having to do with them. And tonight it was Jey Uso, using the Vision to do it. We going to talk about this one soon. As a matter of fact, I think therell be a lot more than, ‘Talk about it,â€â€ LA Knight said.
Do you think Jey Uso should have helped LA Knight?
LA Knight did not shy away from sending a message to Jey Uso after a heel alliance was teased for the latter on WWE RAW.
The Megastar battled Jey Uso on WWE RAW. This has been a long time coming, as both Knight and Uso have failed to get on the same page and have had their differences. LA Knight was the guest referee for The Usos’ match against The Vision, which Jimmy and Jey ultimately lost. Now it seems things have gotten heated with the latest episode being the straw that broke the camel’s back.
The Vision interfered in the Jey vs Knight match and attacked the latter. However, Jey, instead of attacking the stable, took advantage of the situation and took home the victory. Later, when Jimmy came out to help Knight, Jey wasn’t interested and walked out on his brother.
LA Knight Thinks Jey Uso Has Sold Himself Out On WWE RAW
Speaking after WWE RAW, LA Knight was frustrated with what Jey did and asked whether the former World Heavyweight Champion was going by the philosophy of ‘if you can’t beat them, join them.’
I don’t know what that was, man. You know it’s crazy to think this man can come in here red hot, pissed off, but now I gotta question. Is Jey on the philosophy, if you can’t beat them, join them? I know that’s not the truth, I know that’s not what happened, but you damn sure took advantage of what they did. You damn sure took advantage of the damage. Jey, my man, not cool. Very soon, you’re gonna find out how not cool that really is.”

He then addressed the situation and stated he was going to talk about it soon, and probably do a lot more than talk about it.
Jey Uso refused to help Jimmy Uso on WWE RAW.
Jey Uso has been teasing a heel turn for a few weeks now on RAW. The star has stated that he wanted to find his way again and wanted to do things his way since pleasing others had not worked. This led to him walking out on his brother Jimmy Uso a few weeks ago on RAW. Jey and Jimmy had their reunion match at Wrestlepalooza with LA Knight as the special referee.
In a stunning turn of events, Jey was heavily busted open during the bout, which ultimately led to their defeat. The star dumped the blame for the defeat on Jimmy Uso before going on to face LA Knight on RAW.
Jey Uso Refused To Help Jimmy Uso On WWE RAW
The ending of RAW saw The Vision come out to take out LA Knight. Suspiciously, Jey was in a position to take advantage of that and took out Knight to take home the win. After that, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed pounced on the star, only for Jimmy Uso to come out. He wanted Jey to help him and The Megastar, but the former World Heavyweight Champion refused. Jey then walked out on his brother on WWE RAW.

This is the second time in as many weeks that Jey has walked out on Jimmy Uso during WWE RAW in what certainly seems like an impending heel turn.
It seems Xavier Woods is a big fan of the old cartoon Animaniacs and decided to use his fandom of the show at Jey Uso‘s expense.
Saturday night at WWE Wrestlepalooza, Jey Uso accidentally struck himself with a steel chair during his tag match against The Vision. Initially, it was feared that Uso might have suffered a concussion, but he was later announced for a match tonight on RAW, so he appears to be okay.
Xavier Woods took the opportunity to make a big Animaniacs joke at Jeyâ€s expense today on social media with a “Good Idea, Bad Idea†segment, tweeting out:
“The Usos try to claim they are better than The New Day while doing stuff like this. They at least have a future in stand up comedy! Well Jim does, im not sure if Jey can do the standing part after busting his own head open. #ThankGodForTheNewDay,†Xavier Woods said in a post.

Jey Uso suffered from a nasty cut at WWE WrestlePalooza.
The show featured a tag team match between The Usos and Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed of The Vision. The match took an unfortunate turn when Jey Uso got injured, forcing it to end quickly. The injury happened when Jey Uso hit Breakker with a chair.
The chair bounced off Breakkerâ€s back and struck Jey in the head, leaving him busted open. Fans also spotted special referee LA Knight instruct Breakker to give Jey a spear to finish the match. Following the match, medical staff rushed in with a towel to attend to Jey Usoâ€s head, which had been busted open.
Reports from Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer confirm that Jey was placed in WWEâ€s concussion protocol after the match, a standard precaution for injuries like this. He said, “Jey busted himself open. He hit Bron with the chair, and it bounced off Bronâ€s back and split him six ways from Sunday. Heâ€s in concussion protocol, which is a requirement after any injury like this.†[H/T: WrestlePurists]
Despite reports that Jey Uso is in concussion protocol, he reassured fans with an update on his Instagram story, posting a picture of himself backstage with the caption, “Iâ€m good.â€
