Months after Travis Scott’s disappearance from WWE, Logan Paul has opened up about this scrapped match.
Earlier this year at Elimination Chamber 2025, Travis Scott appeared alongside The Rock and helped John Cena turn heel on Cody Rhodes. He later appeared at WrestleMania 41 as well, although things soon fell apart between Scott and WWE. Recently, during an appearance on Chris Van Vlietâ€s Insight, Cena declined to go into detail about the situation. However, on his ImPaulsive podcast, Logan Paul shared additional details on it.
“I was very excited, obviously, for him to enter the WWE, and we were supposed to team up with one other person,” Paul added. “It was supposed to be three-on-three, and the day that it was supposed to be announced, he didn’t show up.”
Sharing his thoughts on Scott’s absence, Paul continued, “I think what happened is, my guess, he probably realized at some point that it’s really physically demanding, really hard and a lot of work. It’s probably too much commitment for someone who is a rock star of his caliber. Like, Bad Bunny loves it and put in the time and became a good wrestler.”
“Wrestling is a lot about navigating pain. It hurts, and I think at some point, Travis probably realized it’s pretty hard. I would like to see him make a real run at it, but yeah, I think that’s what happened.â€
At Money in the Bank 2025, Cena had teamed up with Logan Paul to face the duo of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. Based on Paul’s comments, this might have been the match that would have been a three-on-three contest.

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)…
John Cena believes that nobody cares and it doesn’t matter what the plans were for him in regards to working with The Rock and Travis Scott at WWE WrestleMania this year during the early stages of his retirement tour.
“Who cares? It doesnâ€t matter,” Cena said on the Dec. 9, 2025 edition of Insight with Chris Van Vliet. “We can talk about what could have been until the cows come home and I think thatâ€s whatâ€s great about the people who are left standing. Certainly me and Cody. Whatâ€s the change? this? Alright, letâ€s go. I donâ€t dwell for one second on what could have been, because what could have been is Brock doesnâ€t leave for the NFL and thereâ€s no John Cena.”
Cena said he didn’t care when asked if a match with The Rock had been talked about by Van Vliet. “First of all, Iâ€m always the last to know, said Cena. “It doesnâ€t trickle down to me. If you watch Unreal, that process is genuine. I talked to Rock and then the last guy I gotta call is John. Iâ€m usually the last guy they call because Iâ€m the easiest. ‘Yeah, letâ€s do it. No problem. Iâ€m in.â€
“So, I donâ€t sweat the small stuff. ‘Yo, we donâ€t have those guys anymore?.†Cool, what do you want to do? We would like to do this. We need you to start being more competitive. We want to put you in these matches. We were going to build to this. Thatâ€s over. I didnâ€t even get that. Okay, fine, great. What are we doing now? Thatâ€s whatâ€s tough. I think itâ€s great to talk about. It gives good argument, gives good perspective of like how do they book this stuff?”
Cena then discussed several examples of things happening outside of the box in WWE in comparison to a hypothetical match between him and The Rock at WrestleMania this year. “A lot of that stuffâ€s beyond control of even the people who own the sandbox,” said Cena. “If I decide to walk, I have contractual obligations, but they know Iâ€m not gonna be there on the 13th.
“If I decide that, theyâ€ll figure it out. I saw Austin get fired, you know what Iâ€m saying? I saw Brock leave. I saw Dwayne take his break and I donâ€t sweat any of those guys for what they did. Austin was worn out, Brock was probably going to assault somebody in an airport, and Dwayne had such great opportunities.
“I donâ€t fault people for being like, I canâ€t do this right now. McAfee being burned out behind the booth. The guy has got so many opportunities, dude, you got to just focus on what you can do. I donâ€t sweat them for that, but s— changes. Open opportunity for Wade Barrett and I love listening to that guy on TV. Not that I didnâ€t like Pat, but I really like listening to Stu Bennett, so I donâ€t really sweat it, but could there have been? Thatâ€s why I donâ€t choose my opponents.â€
John Cena won the Elimination Chamber match earlier this year to earn a match against WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. After the match, Cena turned heel and gave The Rock his soul and also aligned with Travis Scott. The Rock said in an interview on the Pat McAfee show that he told Cena and Rhodes after the segment that he decided the work of The Final Boss was done after that segment and wanted the spotlight to be on Rhodes and Cena during the build to WrestleMania.
Cena beat Rhodes with the help of Travis Scott at WrestleMania and stayed heel until the Smackdown before SummerSlam in August when he turned face ahead of his rematch against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Cena dropped the title to Rhodes and has been a babyface since that match on his retirement tour. Cena is set to face Gunther on Dec. 13 on Saturday Night’s Main Event on Peacock in what has been announced as final WWE match.

Australia could be on the brink of a tactical revolution in Test cricket, with head coach Andrew McDonald revealing that the team is now open to using different openers depending on pitch conditions, match timing and strategic needs — a concept long associated with limited-overs cricket but rarely seen in the traditional format.Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW!The shift comes in the wake of Travis Headâ€s Test-turning century from the top of the order in Perth, where the left-hander filled in for the injured Usman Khawaja and launched a blistering second-innings assault. Head later admitted he had been pushing for a chance to face the new ball for some time, despite not batting above No.4 in first-class cricket at home for more than a decade.McDonald says the landmark innings has validated discussions that have been quietly happening behind the scenes.
Shreyas Iyer makes his first public appearance after injury, spotted with Preity Zinta
“Weâ€ve hypothesised around a middle-order player going up to the top order in the second innings if the pitch flattened out,†he told reporters from Geelong. “In our strategy and planning, we have tabled that from time to time.â€The coach pointed out that the logic mirrors white-ball tactics.“You do it in one-day cricket,†he said. “You front-end your innings when you know the back-end will be difficult… Can that transition into Test cricket? Are people ready for that? Itâ€s a conversation that we have had.â€

Should Australia adopt flexible opening partnerships in Test cricket?
Captain Pat Cummins — sidelined from the opener — has already challenged long-held views. Earlier this year, he called batting orders “overrated,†adding that the priority is selecting “the best six batters and putting them in positions that suit the surface and the opposition.â€The idea is not entirely new. Since the last home Ashes, Australia have shown a willingness to treat opening experience as optional. Khawaja himself reclaimed his career through flexibility, while experiments involving Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne and Nathan McSweeney have produced mixed results. For now, selection hinges on Khawajaâ€s fitness ahead of the Gabba Test, with McDonald noting his “gut feel†is that the veteran will recover in time. But after Perth, one thing is clear — Australia are no longer ruling out a future where the opening pair isnâ€t fixed, but adaptable by design.
Former India head coach and all-rounder Ravi Shastri showered praises on Australiaâ€s power dynamo Travis Head following his belligerent, match-winning century in Perth in the 1st Test of the Ashes 2025-26.
Shastri also interestingly referenced Headâ€s memorable ton in the World Cup 2023 final, which came two years and three days ago.
The Ashes began with a highly entertaining and fast-paced game at Perth, ending inside the scheduled first two days of play, a first such Ashes Test since 1921. The game lasted only 847 balls, making it the third-shortest Ashes Test in terms of balls bowled.
The first three innings of the match had team scores of 172, 132, and 164, with England setting Australia a target of 205 after being bowled out by Tea on day 2. Head was made the makeshift opener as Usman Khawaja suffered with spasms.
The left-hander came out all guns blazing and slammed a 69-ball century, the joint-second-fastest by an Australian batsman in Test cricket and faster than any Englishman ever, including the Bazballers.
Headâ€s marauding 123 (83) helped Australia haul down the target in only 28.2 overs, a destructive innings that included 16 fours and four sixes, making a mockery of Englandâ€s five-man pace attack.
Ravi Shastri tweets on Travis Headâ€s “special†century
Ravi Shastri, the legendary Indian cricketer, coach, and commentator, hailed Headâ€s knock as “one of the great innings.†He also reminded the fans that this “special†century from Head came only a few days after the second anniversary of the 2023 World Cup final, staged on November 19, 2023, in Ahmedabad, where Head and Australia silenced the billion-strong nation.
Shastri tweeted,
“Travis Head… two years ago you plunged my country into silence. And today, you have done it again, in the best format of the game, in blistering fashion, with one of the great innings. Take a bow. England… that was special #Ashes #Cricket #AusvsEng #Headâ€
Meanwhile, Australia are set to receive a boost for the 2nd Ashes Test as Pat Cummins is very likely to return to the XI, although Josh Hazlewood is reported to miss more than a couple of Tests.
AUS vs ENG: When is the 2nd Test of the Ashes?
The 2nd Test of the ongoing Ashes 2025-26 will kick off on December 4 in Brisbane at the famous Gabba. England have not won a Test match at the Gabba since 1986.

Australia vs England ended quickly in Perth, as Australia wrapped up the first Ashes Test inside two days. They chased 205 easily after a bowler-dominated match as Travis Headâ€s century changed everything. Head walked in and immediately shifted the momentum. He reached his century in only 69 balls, hitting freely and breaking Englandâ€s control.
Labuschagne kept the chase steady, reaching 51 with a six before guiding Australia to the winning runs. The win gave Australia a 1–0 lead in the five-match Ashes series.
Mitchell Starc had already set up the match earlier with one of the best spells of his Ashes career. Across the two innings, he completed a ten-wicket haul, taking seven in the first innings and three in the second. His performance carried Australiaâ€s attack at a time when regular quicks Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood were missing.
The opening day had been chaotic, with both sides bowled out for under 200 and 30 wickets falling in under a day and a half. But once Head began his counterattack in the chase, the Test swung firmly toward Australia, and the match ended with a dominant win at Optus Stadium.
The Ashes 2025: Travis Head hit a blazing 69-ball century in the Australia vs England 1st Test in Perth
Travis Head produced a stunning innings in the first Ashes Test in Perth, scoring a century in just 69 balls after being pushed up the order because Usman Khawaja was injured. He reached his hundred with 12 fours and four sixes, turning the match firmly towards Australia. The speed of his innings put him alongside David Warnerâ€s 69-ball hundred in 2012, and only Adam Gilchristâ€s 57-ball effort at the same ground was faster for an Australian. Only Brendon McCullumâ€s 54-ball century sits above them all in Test history.
His knock came immediately after Scott Boland and Mitchell Starc tore into England with a fierce spell after lunch. England had reached 65 for 1 and looked set to build a strong second-innings lead before those two quicks removed four wickets in four overs. England recovered briefly but were still bowled out for 164 just before tea, setting up the chase that Head controlled so aggressively.
The Ashes 2025: When is the next Australia vs England Test?
The next Australia vs England Ashes Test is the second match of the 2025–26 series, and it will be played in Brisbane on Thursday, 4 December. It is a day-night game that will use a pink ball. Play begins at 14:00 local time, which lines up as 04:00 GMT and 09:30 IST.
This Test comes nine days after the scheduled final day of the first Test in Perth, although the first match is expected to finish early because 19 wickets fell on the opening day. After Brisbane, the rest of the series will move through Adelaide, Melbourne, and then Sydney.
The first session will run from 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM IST, followed by a dinner break from 11:30 AM to 12:10 PM IST. The second session will then take place from 12:10 PM to 02:10 PM IST, followed by a tea break from 02:10 PM to 02:30 PM IST, and the final session will run from 02:30 PM to 04:30 PM IST.

Travis Head scores the second-fastest Ashes century in history as Australia record an eight-wicket victory over an embarrassed England inside two days in Perth.
Australia have inflicted one of England‘s most embarrassing defeats in their history with an eight-wicket victory inside two days in the first Ashes Test.
At stumps on day one in Perth, a late Ben Stokes five-wicket haul gave England a 49-run lead and they were 40 ahead once they had taken the last Australia wicket of their first innings.
However, in the space of 63 overs, England had lost the Test match, being bowled out for 164 in 34.4 overs before being powerless to prevent Travis Head from scoring the second-fastest Ashes Test hundred in history.
The Test was also wrapped up in the quickest time in Ashes history for 104 years, raising serious doubts as to how England respond when Australia are still to welcome two of their top-three pace bowlers back into the fold.
Not only were England humiliated by their fiercest rivals, they again collapsed from a promising position on a lively pitch, initially reaching 65-1 in their second innings and holding a 105-run lead at this point.

In the space of three overs, they had been reduced to 76-5. As well as Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope departing for 28 and 33 respectively, Harry Brook went for a third-ball duck and Joe Root made just eight after failing to trouble the scorecard in the first innings.
Mitchell Starc and Scott Borland were running rampant and it took a 50-run eighth-wicket stand from Gus Atkinson (37) and Brydon Carse (20) for England to post what they had hoped to be a target that Australia would struggle to reach.
Head etches himself into Ashes folklore
Despite 172 having been the biggest total in the first three innings, Australia took just 28.2 overs to chase down 205, Head producing an all-timer of a knock to etch himself into Ashes history.

Sixteen fours and four maximums were recorded in a monstrous 123 from just 83 balls, an innings that took just two hours and 16 minutes before he was dismissed by Carse – who took both Australia wickets – with just 13 runs still required.
Jake Weatherald (23) and Marnus Labuschagne (51*) also chipped in at the other end, but this Test belongs to Head and Starc, who ended with match figures of 10-113.
England are now left to ponder their next move ahead of the day-night Test in Brisbane which starts on December 4, there needing to be a period of reflection when they lost 20 wickets in 67.3 overs.

The NFL’s most intriguing rookie is potentially headed for the sideline.
The Jacksonville Jaguars listed wideout and defensive back Travis Hunter as limited during Thursday’s practice with a knee injury:
Hunter was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice but was downgraded after the injury.
Coming into the 2025 draft, the Heisman Trophy winner made it abundantly clear he wanted to remain a two-way player at the next level. The Jaguars acquiesced to that wish by giving him reps on offense and defense throughout the summer.
Still, it remains to be seen whether this experiment will actually work. Nobody in the modern history of the NFL has successfully played both ways to the degree Hunter is hoping.
A lot of the same questions applied when the 22-year-old enrolled at Colorado, and he excelled at receiver and cornerback.
But the level of physicality in the NFL is far different. It doesn’t take a medical degree to see Hunter could be at an increased risk of injury if he tries to carry over his college workload into the pros.
That’s to say nothing of the difficult in mastering two entirely different positions.
Through the first half of the 2025 season, Hunter has operated far more regularly on offense than defense, catching 28 passes for 298 yards and a touchdown.
The 2025 Jaguars had no shortage of subplots after falling well below expectations last year. First-year head coach Liam Coen was tasked with getting quarterback Trevor Lawrence back on track and making the franchise a contender once again.
Hunter’s usage within Jacksonville’s offense and defense remains one of the more captivating storylines. Now, so does his health heading into Week 9.

He also shared that when Travis was dropped early in his career, his son decided to “play his own way” instead of changing his natural game. Simon admired that attitude and said that support from coaches like Justin Langer helped Travis grow.

Instead, the coaches accepted him, even though he was only six years old trying out for an under-11 team.
Ann supported Travis’s growing interest, even though it meant adding cricket to his already busy weekends with soccer and athletics. She later recalled how happy he was after his very first game, saying, “The smile on his face, I couldn’t believe it. He was just ecstatic.”

Since Taylor Swift is set to marry into the Kansas City Chiefs’ extended family, Patrick Mahomes honored her by including “Opalite” in an Instagram post with highlights of Rashee Rice’s return game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
On the latest episode of the New Heightspodcast (starts at 16:45 mark), Travis Kelce reacted to Mahomes’ post with a laugh, calling the song “a banger, man.”
Swift has explained that she wrote the song about finding love and perspective after a particularly heartbreaking moment.
“When we go through something that doesn’t work out, we oftentimes look at it as this major setback, like we’ve taken a step back,” she said. “But I’ve found that so many of those instances in my life can catapult you forward in growth, in wisdom, in perspective.”
Opalite is also revered in the spiritual community as a calming tool for its soothing energy, along with providing emotional stability and sparking creativity.
The metaphor for Mahomes is obvious that Rice is such a difference-maker for the Chiefs and his absence was profoundly felt. His return has helped the world make sense again for Mahomes.
Rice hadn’t played since Sept. 29, 2024, when he suffered a torn ACL on an inadvertent tackle by Mahomes after he threw an interception. The third-year wideout was also suspended for the first six games of this season for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
Even though Rice only had 42 yards on seven catches, he also scored touchdowns in a 31-0 win over the Raiders. The Chiefs have scored at least 28 points in four consecutive games, their longest such streak since the 2021 season.

Travis Kelce turned back the clock to his childhood with his latest investment.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end announced on his Instagram page that he is investing in Six Flags, which is the parent company of Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, after merging with the amusement park’s previous parent company, Cedar Fair.
“So many memories from this place,” Kelce said. “Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to continue the tradition and make it even more special for the next generation of families!”
Kelce grew up in northeast Ohio and went to the park before he became an NFL star and internationally famous as Taylor Swift’s fiance, making this a full-circle moment for the 10-time Pro Bowler.
TMZ noted he joined forces with JANA Partners, and the investment group owns approximately nine percent of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.
Cedar Point is widely known as one of the best roller-coaster parks in the country with 18 in total. Among those 18 are Millennium Force, Maverick and Steel Vengeance. The park also includes a water park and is right along the beach on the coast of Lake Erie.
Kelce surely attended the park during summer breaks in school, and he can do the same as an NFL player seeing how the sport is played during the fall and winter.
And now he can do so as a partial owner.
