Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer’s real-life boyfriend, also a WWE star, penned a heartfelt note to her following Wrestlepalooza.
Myles Borne is currently signed to NXT. A few months ago, he confirmed his relationship with La Primera, calling her his “Chilean Queen.”
After winning the World Title for the first time in her WWE main roster career, Borne congratulated her on Instagram with an post of the two together.
Iâ€m so proud of you. You are so special and amazing in and out of the ring. Never doubted you for a moment, keep reaching for the stars mi amor. Congratulations mi campeóna, I love you,” Myles Borne wrote.
Stephanie Vaquer was showing signs of greatness in NXT already, before her jump to WWE’s main roster. At Evolution, Vaquer won the titular 20-woman Battle Royal to become the number one contender for the Women’s World Championship, establishing her position right off the bat. However, unfortunately for her, the planned title contest at Clash in Paris had to be cancelled owing to Naomi’s pregnancy announcement and the vacating of her title.
After Naomi relinquished the title, Adam Pearce announced that the previous titleholder, IYO SKY, would be Stephanie Vaquer’s opponent. The match was booked for Wrestlepalooza, WWE’s debut PLE on ESPN.
With Vaquer’s win last Saturday, WWE has shown massive faith in the Chilean wrestler. It remains to be seen who steps up to her next, as for the time being, she has an annual tradition to partake in.
Stephanie Vaquer’s Match At WWE Crown Jewel: Perth
At Crown Jewel: Perth, she will wrestle SmackDown’s WWE Women’s Champion for the Crown Jewel Championship.
Reigning champion Tiffany Stratton or Jade Cargill, or Nia Jax will be Vaquer’s opponent, depending on who walks away with the gold from the Triple Threat title match this Friday on SmackDown.
Meanwhile, on RAW, megastar Rhea Ripley has sown the seeds for a future title feud against Vaquer. The future looks bright for the 32-year-old Chilean champion.

On social media today, NXT wrestler Myles Borne sent out a message congratulating his girlfriend Stephanie Vaquer on her first WWE main roster title win.
“Iâ€m so proud of you. You are so special and amazing in and out of the ring,” Borne wrote on Instagram while sharing a photo of them with Vaquer holding her new championship. “Never doubted you for a moment, keep reaching for the stars mi amor. Congratulations mi campeóna, I love you.”
Vaquer won the Women’s World Championship at WWE Wrestlepalooza last weekend, defeating IYO SKY for the vacant belt after it had been relinquished by Naomi. Original plans had called for Vaquer to challenge for the title at Clash in Paris in August, but that could not happen due to Naomi’s pregnancy.
The news that Vaquer and Borne were dating first became known this May when Vaquer was spotted in pictures with Borne’s family. In a tweet during his NXT feud with Lexis King, Borne confirmed the relationship on X/Twitter by calling Vaquer his “Chilean queen.” The couple met while Vaquer was in NXT after signing with WWE.
Borne — who is partially deaf — got a victory over King on NXT last night in a Lights Out match.
Following her Women’s World Championship win, Vaquer will compete at Crown Jewel: Perth on October 11 to determine the 2025 women’s Crown Jewel Champion. Her opponent will be the WWE Women’s Champion — either Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, or Jade Cargill. Those three are set to face off in a triple threat match on SmackDown this Friday with Stratton defending the WWE Women’s Championship.

This past weekend at WWE Wrestlepalooza, Stephanie Vaquer captured the vacant Women’s World Championship after a hard fought twenty minute battle with IYO SKY, which concluded with the “Dark Angel” hitting a Corkscrew Moonsault to pickup the win. Although Vaquer executed the finisher perfectly, many fans thought she performed a Spiral Tap, which is a move requires the wrestler to deliver a twisting aerial assault and is very similar to the Corkscrew Moonsault. However, it’s also a maneuver that defined the career of former WWE Champion AJ Styles, who clarified on social media that Vaquer performed a Corkscrew Moonsault, not a Spiral Tap.
“It wasn’t the spiral tap. It was phenomenal though.”

Last year, Styles revealed that he removed the Spiral Tap from his in-ring arsenal, as he didn’t believe he was able to perform the move at a high level anymore, and decided to never deliver it again. Additionally, Styles said that he hasn’t performed the move since his days wrestling in TNA, and has also eliminated the Shooting Styles Press from his moveset over the years.
As for Vaquer, her next opponent will be revealed this Friday on “WWE SmackDown” with the winner of the Women’s WWE Championship match between Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax and Jade Cargill facing her at WWE Crown Jewel. The winner of the matchup at the premium live event will be awarded with the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. Last year, Liv Morgan defeated Jax to win the inaugural Women’s Crown Jewel Title.Â

WWE
WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer became the promotion’s first Chilean-born world champion at Wrestlepalooza 2025, adding the belt to a collection that already includes the NXT Women’s Championship and NXT Women’s North American Championship. However, the build up to her Wrestlepalooza clash with IYO SKY seemed off; according to Paul “Triple H” Levesque, there was a valid reason for her absence.
“She absolutely does have it all,” Levesque said after being told how much of an impact Vaquer has with the fans during the Wrestlepalooza Post Show. “I’ll let everybody in on a behind-the-scenes secret to Stephanie: in the last few weeks, Stephanie has been very sick.” Levesque explained that Vaquer had been suffering form a flu-type disease, which led to her missing several television dates. “It was why there was some odd build to it and she was able to feel well enough and get cleared medically tonight,” he added.
Levesque then praised Vaquer for being able to perform at the level she did at Wrestlepalooza against SKY and capture the Women’s World Championship. “She’s been here for a very short time, so as we move forward now, she becomes a dominant force,” he noted. “The landscape of WWE and the Women’s Division just changed with Stephanie Vaquer becoming the Women’s Champion.”

Stephanie Vaquer captured the WWE Womenâ€s World Championship at Wrestlepalooza, marking another major milestone for the Chilean star in 2025. Inside Indianapolis†Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Vaquer defeated former champion IYO SKY to claim the vacant title.
After the match, Vaquer celebrated with her father, who had traveled from Chile to watch her perform. WWE NXT head Shawn Michaels later praised her victory on X, and Vaquer expressed gratitude to the family she found within WWEâ€s silver brand.
Thank you Jefe and thank you to my entire NXT family for always guiding me, supporting me, and pushing me to make my dreams come true. None of this would have been possible without you. ??
Gracias Shawn ?? https://t.co/nzYXfSQMMS— Stephanie Vaquer (@Steph_Vaquer) September 21, 2025
Michaels wasnâ€t the only name to acknowledge her achievement. On X, Vaquer also responded to congratulatory messages from Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and the Bella Twins.
Iâ€ve fulfilled the dream of my life ? Thank you for believing in me, for always supporting me, and for taking care of all of us. Congratulations on your Hall of Fame induction so well deserved! ?? https://t.co/wdLs4hXByc— Stephanie Vaquer (@Steph_Vaquer) September 21, 2025
This win adds to an already remarkable rookie year for Vaquer, who signed with WWE in 2024. She made her NXT debut that September and quickly rose through the ranks, winning three championships in less than a year. In February 2025, she captured the NXT Womenâ€s North American Championship, followed by the NXT Womenâ€s Title just a month later.
Now, with the Womenâ€s World Championship on her shoulder, Vaquer stands at the top of WWE Rawâ€s womenâ€s division. With Crown Jewel on the horizon and a match for the Crown Jewel Womenâ€s Title looming, it appears more gold could be in her future.

The Undertaker revealed the reasons why Stephanie McMahon was inducted into the 2026 Hall of Fame.
The WWE Universe was treated to a heartfelt moment when The Undertaker posted a new behind-the-scenes reel explaining McMahonâ€s surprise induction into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame. In the Instagram reel, he shows backstage clips from Wrestlepalooza, starting with his arrival on the iconic Harley-Davidson. He then meets McMahon, who is visibly moved. As they sit together, he greets the crowd and introduces her as the first member of the 2026 class.
He called it an incredible moment.
Itâ€s an incredible moment, so well deserved.”
Adding to it, Taker listed some of the special qualities of McMahon that separated her from the others.
Her contributions to WWE – they are just too numerous to begin to list. Stephanie has just always been there with a smile on her face, an ear if someone needs to listen to something, someone to bounce ideas off of. Sheâ€s done just about everything, every role thatâ€s in the industry, and sheâ€s done it at a very high level.”
Fans have followed McMahon’s career since she first appeared on television in 1999. Over more than two decades, she has held roles in creative, marketing, and talent relations. She played a key part in launching the first womenâ€s Royal Rumble in 2018 and led social media campaigns that grew a global audience.
Her work during talent scouting and live event production helped shape how fans experience wrestling today. Many colleagues and superstars have praised her loyalty, leadership, and passion for the business.
The Importance of Stephanie McMahon’s WWE HOF Induction
McMahon always showed she was more than a second-generation star. In 2006, she joined the creative team, overseeing storylines that connected with fans worldwide. She later became Chief Brand Officer, working to integrate WWE into mainstream culture. Under her guidance, the company expanded partnerships with major media outlets and launched new programming that highlighted women athletes.
She led campaigns supporting military families and raised funds for childrenâ€s hospitals. Behind every big event, McMahon was often the one coordinating details, from stage design to broadcast schedules. Her Hall of Fame induction marks the end of one chapter and the start of another.
