Team 3D (Bully Ray & Devon) will be live at the upcoming WWE NXT Vs. TNA Wrestling Showdown, and will have their eyes on one match in particular. On X, Matt Hardy highlighted his and Jeff’s upcoming title for title match against NXT’s Darkstate. The winners will hold both the TNA World Tag Team Titles and the NXT Tag Team Titles.
In a response, Bully Ray shared that he and Devon will be watching from the front row, confirming their attendance at Showdown. When Matt shared that he didn’t expect to see the duo until Bound for Glory on Sunday, Bully was glad to surprise his rival.
Bully’s warning comes ahead of Bound for Glory, where he and Devon will battle Matt and Jeff. Their tables match is being promoted as the final encounter between two of wrestling’s most significant tag-teams. The match is currently slated to be for the TNA World Tag Team Titles, though it could also be for the NXT Tag Team Titles depending on the result at Showdown.
With high stakes at both Showdown and Bound for Glory, it’s highly likely that Team 3D will do more than merely watch from the crowd at the NXT Vs. TNA event. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from WWE Showdown and TNA Bound for Glory 2025.
Joe Hendry will be part of the WWE NXT Vs. TNA Wrestling ‘Showdown’ event, but the popular star won’t be competing. On X, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella shared that Hendry will be the special guest referee of the Men’s eight-man tag-team elimination match.
Team NXT will feature WWE NXT Champion Ricky Saints, TNA World Champion Trick Williams, Jeâ€Von Evans, and Myles Borne. As for Team TNA, they will be represented by Moose, Leon Slater, Mike Santana and Frankie Kazarian.
It will be interesting to see where Hendry’s loyalties rest in this important tag-team elimination match. It has been reported that Hendry is expected to join WWE full-time when the time is right and he has made several appearances for the brand. TNA President Carlos Silva recently clarified that Hendry is still part of TNA Wrestling, despite his appearances for WWE.
Outside WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling, Hendry has appeared on WWEâ€s main roster. The TNA talent was part of the 2025 Menâ€s Royal Rumble match. He also appeared at WrestleMania 41 as the surprise opponent of Randy Orton.
Hendry’s situation at Showdown mirrors that of Jordynne Grace, who will officiate the Women’s Elimination Tag Team Match. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from Showdown, including breaking news and live results.
Joe Hendry will be refereeing on Tuesday.
TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella announced on social media Sunday that the TNA star will be the special guest referee for the upcoming menâ€s NXT vs. TNA Survivor Series Elimination match that takes place on this Tuesday NXT Showdown. Santinoâ€s announcement came after Joe Hendry on social media shared his reasons for wanting to be part of the Survivor Series elimination matches, pointing out his Royal Rumble and WrestleMania appearances as TNA Champion.
On this Tuesdayâ€s NXT, Jordynne Grace and Hendry were both disappointed to find out that neither team NXT or TNA had any interest in them, with the TNA captains seemingly not sure what team they really supported. After Jordynne Grace asked NXT General Ava to fix the situation on social media, Ava announced that Grace had been named the special guest referee for the womenâ€s Survivor Series elimination match.
Here is the updated lineup for Tuesday’s NXT special:
WWE NXT vs. TNA Showdown lineup:
- Team NXT (Ricky Saints, Trick Williams, Myles Borne & Jeâ€Von Evans) vs. Team TNA (Mike Santana, Frankie Kazarian, Moose & Leon Slater) w/ Joe Hendry as referee

WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling may be bracing for a ‘Showdown’ on October 7, but that didn’t stop Joe Hendry from headlining a recent live event. The October 4, event took place from the MLK Center in Gainesville, Florida and saw Hendry defeat Cutler James in the closing match of the show.
Hendry’s appearance at the show comes amid the ongoing storyline between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling. The two sides will collide at the ‘Showdown’ on October 7, which will see multiple interpromotional matches. Hendry hasn’t been announced for a match, but it has been confirmed that he will be making an appearance.
The former TNA World Champion has appeared multiple times for WWE NXT as part of the crossover between the two brands. It has been reported that Hendry is being prepped for a full-time move to WWE, bringing an end to his TNA run. TNA President Carlos Silva has shared that Hendry is still with TNA, despite his many appearances for WWE in 2025.
Outside WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling, Hendry has appeared on WWE’s main roster. The TNA talent was part of the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match. He also appeared at WrestleMania 41 as the surprise opponent of Randy Orton.
Caught between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling, it remains to be seen what Hendry’s future holds. For now, the Scottish star remains a key part of both brands ahead of what will be a stacked Showdown event.
Jordynne Grace was furious after being left out of next weekâ€s NXT vs. TNA Showdown show, which is why Ava has now officially confirmed Grace will have a very special role on the show.
Ava took to Twitter and confirmed that Jordynne Grace will serve as the special guest referee for the Womenâ€s Survivor Series match on Tuesday, admitting that Grace played a key role in making the NXT–TNA crossover possible.
“Jordynne, youâ€re right — you made some good points. I donâ€t think there would be this NXT–TNA crossover without you. So, Iâ€ve decided that youâ€re going to be the special guest referee for the Womenâ€s Survivor Series match on Tuesday.â€
The NXT ShowDown event will take on the October 7th edition of NXT and the womenâ€s Survivor Series style match is one of the most anticipated bouts on the card. The NXT side features Jacy Jayne, Jaida Parker, Sol Ruca, and Lola Vice, while Team TNA comprises Kelani Jordan, Jessie McKay, Cassie Lee, and Mara Sadè.
Jordynne Grace joining as the special guest referee brings more excitement and star power to the NXT vs. TNA ShowDown. Her presence might even affect the result in a big way, so weâ€ll just have to see if the Juggernaut will call it down the middle in the end.

If you’re a wrestling fan asking, “Can you buy tickets to the NXT vs TNA Showdown?” the short answer is: mostly, no. But the devil is in the details. Let’s break down how this special event differs from a typical ticketed wrestling show, and what your best options are.
What is NXT vs TNA Showdown?
“NXT vs TNA Showdown” (stylized as ShoWdown) is a one-off, co-produced special by WWE’s NXT brand and TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling). The event is scheduled for October 7, 2025 at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The twist: unlike most live shows, this is a TV special, produced to air on The CW as part of the NXT programming slate, rather than as a standalone live-gate event.
Because of that special format, it’s not structured like a standard ticketed wrestling event. Instead of selling to the general public through ticket outlets, the logistics and access are handled differently (for instance through television or internal arrangements).
Why you probably can’t buy “Showdown” tickets
Venue and format constraints
The venue, the WWE Performance Center, is typically used as a training and production facility, not a big public arena. That suggests limited public seating or perhaps no general public access. Because Showdown is designed primarily as a broadcast special rather than a “ticketed super show,” WWE may not intend to offer general admission tickets.
Lack of ticket listings
At present, there is no official ticket sale for “NXT vs TNA Showdown” via typical platforms (Ticketmaster, WWE.com, etc.). A search for NXT tickets shows regular NXT live events available via Ticketmaster. Meanwhile, TNA’s own events do list tickets via Ticketmaster because the company does regularly sell tickets for its standard shows, but the Showdown event is not listed among those.
How you can buy tickets for NXT or TNA (standard events)
If your interest is broader, i.e. attending a regular NXT show or a TNA event, the ticket routes are well established:
- NXT: NXT live events (non-Showdown) are ticketed via Ticketmaster, WWE’s event pages, or venue partners.
- TNA: TNA Wrestling publishes an events schedule and offers tickets via official channels (such as TNA’s website) and platforms like Ticketmaster,
- Secondary markets: For major events, sites like TickPick, Vivid Seats, and other resale platforms offer TNA tickets, sometimes at steep prices.

On Tuesday, October 7, “WWE NXT” and TNA will engage in cross-promotional warfare when the special episode Showdown takes place from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Although some wrestlers have been loyal to their respective brands throughout their entire career, one performer who’s caught in the middle of all the chaos is Jordynne Grace, who became arguably TNA’s most popular female star in 2024 and just signed with “WWE NXT” this year. Following this week’s episode of “NXT,” many fans have questioned which side Grace could lean towards next Tuesday, leading “The Juggernaut” to voice her thoughts on the show on social media.
“I just hope everyone has fun!”

For the Women’s “NXT” vs. TNA Survivor Series Match, Jacy Jayne, Jaida Parker, Lola Vice and Sol Ruca will represent the developmental brand against Cassie Lee, Jessie McKay, Kelani Jordan and Mara Sade. Although Grace was lobbying to get herself selected for the match, she would not be chosen by Jordan, the team captain, as she felt the former TNA Knockouts World Champion was too much of a wild card due to her history with both brands and could not be trusted.
Elsewhere on the card, Je’Von Evans, Myles Borne, Ricky Saints and Trick Williams will battle Frankie Kazarian, Leon Slater, Mike Santana and Moose in the “NXT” Vs. TNA Men’s Survivor Series Match. Additionally, Ethan Page is set to defend the North American Title against Mustafa Ali, and The Hardys will compete against DarkState in a Winner Takes All Match for the “NXT” and TNA Tag Team Championships.
Teams are official and a new title match are set for next week.
The main focus on Tuesdayâ€s show was setting the stage for next weekâ€s Showdown event between NXT and TNA talent, including two NXT vs. TNA Survivor Series-style elimination matches. Additionally, Ethan Page will defend the North American title against TNAâ€s Mustafa Ali.
NXT GM Ava at the start of the show named Ricky Starks & Jacy Jayne the captains of Team NXT while TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella named new TNA Knockouts Champion Kelani Jordan and Mike Santana the TNA team captains. Two matches were set up to determine members of the NXT teams, with Myles Borne defeating Josh Briggs and Lola Vice defeating Fallon Henley.
In the final segment, the teams were officially named. For the men, Starks, Borne, Trick Williams, and Jeâ€Von Evans of NXT will take on Santana, Frankie Kazarian, Moose, and Leon Slater of TNA. For the women, Jayne, Vice, Sol Ruca, and Jaida Parker of NXT will take on Jordan, The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay), and Mara Sade (the former Jakara Jackson) of TNA.
The final moments of the show inevitably broke out into yet another interpromotional brawl as Shawn Michaels appeared in front of the crowd smiling, watching the chaos unfold.
A new match was set up on Tuesday when Mustafa Ali made his first appearance in NXT since his release from WWE in 2023. He told Page about the time that he had earned a North American title match, only to get released nine days before the match took place at NXT No Mercy 2023. He told Page he had talked to Ava and would see him next week. The segment ended in a brief brawl, with Ali dropkicking Page out of the ring.
