AEW WrestleDream 2025 was main evented by the match that had everyone worried about what they were about to witness, the “I Quit” match between Jon Moxley and Darby Allin. After a war that saw the two men stab each other with skewers, drown each other in aquariums, and strangle each other with flags, Darby forced Moxley to say the words “I Quit.”

Darby kicked things off by laying the AEW flag he waved at the top of Mount Everest in the middle of the ring, which Moxley wiped his feet on. This angered Darby who kicked Moxley out of the ring and hit a Tope Suicida immediately. Moxley responded with a dropkick of his own, kicked the ring ropes into Darby’s teeth, and landed a series of strikes with a chain wrapped around his fist. Moxley continued to use the ropes, guardrail, and the ring steps as a weapon while the blood flowed from Darby’s mouth and ear. Marina Shafir pulled wooden skewers from under the ring, but instead of all them, Moxley pulled one from the bunch and stabbed it under Darby’s fingernail, before continuing to work over Darby’s arm, hands and fingers.

Moxley whipped Darby into the ring steps, but Darby leaped over them and countered with a big dropkick, leading to a strike exchange in the ring which ended with Darby landing a Code Red. Darby then wrapped the flag around Moxley’s neck and tried to hang him in the same way Hangman Page did at All In Texas, but Moxley escaped by jamming his thumb into Darby’s eye. Darby went high risk once more but missed the Coffin Drop on the apron, and after rolling back in the ring, Moxley started whipping Darby with his own belt before landing a staling Piledriver.Â

Darby decided to embrace the whipping and mounted a brief comeback before being cut off with a German Suplex. However, Darby went into the backpack he brought the ring and covered Moxley in lighter fluid, before brandishing a lighter. The Death Riders tried to cut Darby off, but they were sprayed as well. With that said, Moxley recovered in time and landed a cutter.

It was then Moxley’s turn to go in the backpack and he put Darby down with a taser, before hitting Darby with a Paradigm Shift on a steel chair. Claudio Castagnoli then got involved and launched Darby from the ring and on to the announce table, with PAC dragging Darby back to the ring where Moxley was waiting to deliver a Paradigm Shift off the apron through two tables. Moxley tried to tell referee Bryce Remsburg that Darby is out of his mind and won’t quit, meaning that there is nothing he can do to stop him. However, Moxley had an idea.

Maybe Bryson DeChambeau was nervous? Maybe Steph Curry just knows Lake Merced that well? Maybe Bryson was just struggling with his wedge game?

Or maybe Curry is just that good.

DeChambeau has released the latest video in his Breaking 50 YouTube series, with NBA star Steph Curry as his guest, playing at Lake Merced in San Francisco in the days leading up to the Ryder Cup. The conceit is well known by now: DeChambeau and guest play a scramble from the up tees at a given course and see if they can somehow shoot 49 or better. The only time he’s succeeded in doing so was with a pair of fellow content creators. To do so with Curry would set a new standard …

And that’s exactly what they did. But it was how they did so that stood out.

Curry drive from 320 yards — to four feet.

Curry 5-wood from 243 yards — straight as train smoke, LONG of the green.

Curry full 60-degree wedge from 104 yards — eight feet.

“He might beat me today,” DeChambeau said. And as much as he was joking, he wasn’t wrong.

Curry 6-iron from 211 yards — to four feet.

“I’ve got it in there,” Curry said, admitting he hasn’t played this well to start a round in a long time. “You just have to bring it out at the right time.”

Curry driver from 306 yards — to 20 feet.

Curry with pitching wedge from 143 — five feet. (Solo birdie)

Curry from 138 yards to 12 feet.

Curry from 205 yards to 20 feet.

Both players did their part on the greens, each holing a long one when they needed it.

Curry from 113 yards to six feet, and the putt for another solo birdie.

Curry out-driving DeChambeau on the 14th hole.

Curry off the tee from 320 yards — on the green to 41 feet.

Curry roasts a draw off the tee. It gets caught up in the rough … but still ends up a few yards further than DeChambeau’s driver.

“There are certain days when golf makes sense, and today is one of them,” Curry said as they drove in a cart up the 18th. When DeChambeau wedged it on, they two-putted for a finishing birdie and 49.

So, just how great was Curry’s performance?

He really did out-drive DeChambeau multiple times. Just as shocking, though is how helpful he was with his wedges, hitting a handful inside 15 feet, all while DeChambeau was struggling with his own wedge game. He had those two solo birdies on par-3s, which can be the most difficult holes for two-man scrambles to birdie. When it came to shots played from tee-to-green, Curry’s shots were used 11 times while DeChambeau’s were used 14 times. Pretty darn good for the non-professional golfer in the group.

But for those who aren’t just coming to Curry’s golf game for the first time, it’s not completely shocking. The 11-time NBA All-Star has won the annual American Century Celebrity golf event in Tahoe and has even competed twice via sponsor invite on the Korn Ferry Tour. Of course, that gets everyone thinking about a golf career for Curry when his basketball days are over. Even DeChambeau.

Seth Rollins poses with world title

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was betrayed by Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman on Monday, jettisoning him from The Vision. The move was a shock, considering how united the group had been just days earlier at WWE Crown Jewel. According to new reports from PWInsider and Fightful Select, the attack on Rollins was the result of the company being forced to call an audible.

According to PWInsider, Rollins was seen with his arm in a sling following his Crown Jewel Title victory over Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at the Perth PLE, and the betrayal was written to get Rollins off of TV while he deals with a shoulder injury, noting that Rollins hurt himself performing a coast-to-coast headbutt, but managed to finish the match and defeat Rhodes. Fightful Select confirmed PWInsider’s report, noting that the split from Rollins wasn’t in the plans for Breakker until next year. The company was forced to speed up Breakker and Reed’s ascension due to Rollins’s injury, which was described as a “heavy creative pivot.”

There is no word on the specifics of Rollins’s injury or how long he’ll be out of action, but he is reportedly set to undergo testing later this week. Rollins had been in the middle of a feud with CM Punk over the World Heavyweight Championship, which Rollins won from Punk after cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase at SummerSlam. Ironically, Rollins’s cash-in was built around inflated rumors of Rollins being injured, which included Rollins’s own child being in on the ruse.

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was among the masses who were caught off-guard by the Cleveland Browns sending veteran quarterback Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals in a rare in-division trade last week.

“It was shocking to me,” Tomlin said Monday, per ESPN’s Brooke Pryor. “[Browns general manager] Andrew Berry must be a lot smarter than me or us because it doesn’t make sense to me to trade a quarterback that you think enough of to be a day 1 starter to a divisional opponent.”

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski was asked about Tomlin’s criticism of the Flacco trade on Monday, and he told reporters, “I don’t have a comment on that.”

Cleveland had benched Flacco and inserted rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel as the starter in Week 5. Rather than holding onto the aging vet, the Browns traded him to the Bengals, who were struggling at the quarterback position after losing star signal-caller Joe Burrow to toe surgery.

The Steelers easily handled the Flacco-less Browns with a 23-9 win on Sunday. Gabriel completed 29 of his 52 passes for 221 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions while being sacked six times.

Rather than facing Flacco with Cleveland on Sunday, Pittsburgh will meet its old nemesis when it faces Cincinnati on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 7. In his Bengals debut, Flacco threw for 219 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions on 29-of-45 passing in Sunday’s 27-18 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The Steelers will be seeking their fourth straight win on Thursday, so it can be expected that Tomlin will have his players amped up to take on Flacco and the Bengals as they try to continue to establish supremacy in the AFC North.

WWE RAW is set to open with ripples from Saturdayâ€s Crown Jewel event.

Superstars will return to the ring with new goals and burning questions hanging over the locker room. Unexpected alliances and heated rivalries could dominate the night, shifting the power balance across the roster. Viewers will see immediate consequences unfold, from changing title pictures to personal vendettas igniting right away. Everything that happened in Perth has stakes that carry straight into RAW, ensuring the show kicks off with urgency and drama right out of the gate.

5. Rhea Ripley Challenges for the World Title

For the past few months, the Eradicator has been a bit directionless in WWE. She was in the world title scene just a couple of months ago, but wasn’t able to win it despite multiple chances. However, following Stephanie Vaquer’s win against IYO Sky at Wrestlepalooza, Ripley warned La Primera that she will be coming for her and the world title. Now that she has put the Kabuki Warriors behind her, she is set to face new challenges.

Sparking a feud right after the Australian PLE, in front of the home crowd, would cheer up Ripley and boost her confidence. Ripley has been a dominant champion on the current roster, whereas Vaquer, a rising force, has proven herself equally competitive and strong. The clash between the Eradicator and La Primera would be a spectacle to witness when the creative team decides to schedule it.

4. Judgment Day Faces New Challengers

Dominik Mysterio is set to face Penta this Monday for the Intercontinental Championship. But this is not a well-developed feud; Penta challenged Mysterio during a commercial break. Mysterio won the title back at WrestleMania 41 and has been the champion ever since, showing his dominance. However, during this time, he didn’t have a proper feud with any wrestler, except for AJ Styles, which culminated at Clash in Paris. He bested Rusev last week for the title, but if a new challenger with a storied past with Mysterio emerges for the title, it would finally test him as a champion.

Also, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh have been the tag team champions for over 100 days now, but they have just had 1 title defense in their entire run. Maybe the New Day finally stops grieving over the loss of the titles and challenges for it, or any two strong singles competitors come together to form a tag team and take on the Judgment Day.

3. Bronson Reed Gets a Massive Singles Push

‘Big’ Bronson Reed secured the biggest win of his career in front of his home crowd when he pinned Roman Reigns in a singles match. He became just the third wrestler to pin Roman Reigns in a singles match since King Corbin in 2019, truly cementing himself as a dominant performer. With Triple H acknowledging Reed’s accomplishment, he looks set for a massive singles push.

2. Cracks Widen Between the Bloodline

Before the match, Reigns had clearly asked the Usos to stay out of his business in Australia, as he was confident he could take on Reed. Despite this clear message, the Usos made their way to the ring when Bron Breakker teamed up with the Auszilla to dominate Reigns. Things were going smoothly for the Anoa’i family, with Jey and Jimmy flattening the Brons. However, things went south quickly as Jey speared Reigns through a table.

This cost him the match, as Reed capitalized with a Death Valley Driver, standing tall in the ring. Reigns was clearly frustrated with the Uso twins, calling them out for their involvement despite a clear message from the OTC. Jey was trying to get close to Reigns for the past few weeks, and looking at the current situation, it seems difficult, as Reigns has asked the twins not to show him their faces before Christmas.

1. Crown Jewel Champion Seth Rollins Faces Vision Crisis

Seth Rollins used Cody Rhodes†Rolex to beat him for the Menâ€s Crown Jewel Championship. After the win, neither Reed nor Breakker celebrated with the newly crowned champion. On RAW, Rollins must face his teammates†cold stares and hard questions. Reed may demand a bigger spotlight after pinning Roman Reigns, and Breakker could question his own path in the group. Rollins†authority will be tested in a promo, and tension could boil over into a tag or singles match. If trust collapses, The Vision may splinter, leading to surprise betrayals and new rivalries that reshape RAWâ€s main event scene.

IND vs WI | Jasprit Bumrah’s shocking remark to umpire after losing review:'You know it, but...':West Indies’ John Campbell gives the ball to Jasprit Bumrah during the fourth day of the second Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi (AP Photo/Manish Swarup) The first session of Day 4 of the 2nd Test between India and the West Indies saw a dramatic moment when Jasprit Bumrahâ€s LBW appeal against John Campbell ended in disappointment. India had enforced the follow-on on Sunday, but breakthroughs were proving difficult against a resilient West Indies batting line-up.Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! The incident unfolded in the fifth ball of the 55th over. Bumrah bowled a sharp delivery that struck Campbellâ€s pads as he moved across for a drive. A massive LBW appeal followed, with umpire Richard Illingworth shaking his head. India opted for a review, hoping technology would back their claim.India West Indies Cricket

On review, the UltraEdge showed a faint spike when the ball passed close to both bat and pad. Third umpire Alex Wharf determined there had been an inside edge, asking the on-field umpire to stick with the original not-out decision. Campbell had continued his patient innings, shuffling across the crease and possibly catching the ball on the edge of the bat before it hit his pads. After the review was lost, Bumrah walked back to his mark with a mix of frustration and amusement. Passing Illingworth, he was heard saying, “You know it’s out. But the technology can’t prove it,†with a wide smile. The exchange, captured on the stump mic, drew laughter from the commentary box, offering a lighter moment in an otherwise tense session. Despite Indiaâ€s best efforts, the West Indies batsmen continued their resistance. By the end of 57 overs on Day 4, John Campbell was unbeaten on 94 off 172 balls, while Shai Hope had made 73 off 124 balls. The duo had anchored the innings, frustrating Indiaâ€s bowlers and keeping the hosts from making a breakthrough.

WWE has some shocking names planned to be involved in next monthâ€s WarGames match at Survivor Series.

Gone are the days of the old school Survivor Series matches in favor of WarGames. The match type was implemented in the event in 2022. And it has become the focal point of WWEâ€s November premium live event.

With WarGames quickly approaching, we have an early report about who the company plans to feature in this yearâ€s matches. And two of the names are downright shocking.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, these were the plans for the menâ€s and womenâ€s WarGames matches as of one week ago:

Menâ€s WarGames match: CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Jimmy Uso, and either LA Knight or Jimmy Uso vs. Seth Rollins, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Brock Lesnar, and Austin Theory

Womenâ€s WarGames match: AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend

The addition of Austin Theory and Lash Legend is particularly shocking. As Theory has been sidelined with an injury for quite some time, while Legend is still working regularly in NXT.

A potential red herring?

Itâ€s worth noting that Meltzer believes some of this will change. This is something many have speculated on since WWE Unreal put a bigger spotlight on creative happenings in recent months. Itâ€s very possible that Theory and Legend being listed for these matches are just red herrings to hide who the company really has planned. However, this is far from confirmed.

For what itâ€s worth, Fightfulâ€s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select) also looked into this report and was told that it was one of the options they are considering heading into the event.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.

Bronson Reed is getting ready for one of the biggest matches of his career — an Australian Street Fight against Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel — and heâ€s promising to bring a bit of homegrown flavor to the chaos.

Speaking to The West Sport, Reed revealed that this match will be far from a typical street fight. He teased using uniquely Australian items as weapons, including a kangaroo warning sign, a boomerang, and what he called the ultimate Aussie weapon — a cricket bat.

“Iâ€m facing the face of WWE. Iâ€m facing Roman Reigns. So itâ€s a huge deal for me. An Australian street fight is different from a normal street fight. I was driving here thinking, you could have a kangaroo warning sign — you could smack him over the head with that. Thereâ€s a boomerang you could smack him with as well. But I think the ultimate Australian summerâ€s weapon is a cricket bat. That was mine when I was a kid, the old diner drive boundary bat. I could do some serious damage with that.â€

Reed joked that Reigns has “another thing coming†and said he might even hit him “for six†— a nod to cricketâ€s biggest scoring play. He added that Australians are known for going harder than most, whether itâ€s in sports or street fights.

“I reckon Roman Reigns has another thing coming. Maybe Iâ€ll hit him for six with the old cricket bat. The Australian street fight — we do it a little bit harder down here. Even in our sports we donâ€t wear a lot of protective gear, so Roman has to be ready to take it up a notch compared to a normal street fight.â€

And if youâ€re wondering whether Reed would really go through with it — he didnâ€t hesitate to say yes.

“Yes, I would 100% whack Roman Reigns with a cricket bat, as long as he doesnâ€t get it in his hands. Thatâ€s always the risk with bringing weapons into a match.â€

Reed will be looking for redemption after losing to Reigns earlier this year at Clash in Paris. This time, heâ€s got home advantage — and maybe a few dangerous Aussie props to even the odds.

Arizona Cardinals running back Emari Demercado owned up to his costly turnover in Sunday’s 22-21 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

With Arizona leading by 15 points in the fourth quarter, Demercado got loose for what initially looked like a 72-yard touchdown run. Unfortunately for he and the Cardinals, he started his celebration prematurely. He lost possession before crossing the goal line, and the ball went out of the end zone for a touchback.

“I made a mistake. There’s really no excuse,” Demercado told reporters after the game. “I was obviously emotional. It was a big play, but I just got to be smarter.”

The third-year back added he’s not going to think about the play any longer than he needs to.

“You just have to,” he said. “Can’t get it back. Nothing I can do about it, so why keep holding on to it?”

It’s almost certainly game over if the Cardinals jump ahead by 22 points with less than 13 minutes to play. Instead, the Titans got a major lifeline.

Tennessee got touchdowns on its next two drives, and Joey Slye connected on a 29-yard field goal as time expired to give his team its first win.

Demercado’s fumble wasn’t the sole reason for Arizona’s late collapse, and the football gods seemed to be tipping the scales in favor of the Titans. You don’t often see a defensive interception turn into an offensive touchdown, which is what happened during the frenzied fourth quarter.

With a losing skid that now sits at three games, Arizona will hope its luck in Week 6 improves as it hits the road to play the red-hot Indianapolis Colts.
