“Thereâ€s nothing you could pay me that would change my lifestyle. Like, I donâ€t have anything to buy. You could give me $10 million, $150 million… no. I already have everything I want. I guess a billion dollars—sure. Iâ€ll take a billion. But nothing less. Like what would I even do with it?â€

Rousey explained sheâ€s perfectly content with her life right now—one that doesnâ€t involve fight camps, injury risks, or drama. Her focus is on her family, writing projects, and living off the grid. She isnâ€t looking to recapture past glory or chase clout in the public eye.

“Nothing would change my lifestyle. You could offer $10 million, $150 million… still no. A billion dollars? Sure. But I already have everything I want.â€

After two dominant runs in MMA and pro wrestling, it looks like Rouseyâ€s competitive career is truly over—unless someoneâ€s ready to wire her a billion dollars.

She’s Still Very Much With Us

AEW President Tony Khan has addressed the status of former AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., confirming that she is still with the company and that he hopes to see her return to television “hopefully soon.” Baker has been on a long-term, unexplained hiatus from AEW programming, with her last television appearance taking place in November 2024.

Her prolonged absence, coupled with her removal of AEW mentions from her social media profiles in March 2025, has led to rampant speculation among fans about her future and a potential move to WWE. Speaking in a new interview with Z100 New York, Tony Khan was asked about the former champion and was quick to praise her contributions to the company, making it clear that she is still a part of the AEW family.

“What a great star in AEW Dr Britt Baker has been. She is still a fantastic, fantastic wrestling star. She’s been away from AEW for a while, but still very much with us, and at some point hopefully soon, I’d love to see Dr Britt Baker come back.â€

Baker’s last match on AEW television was on the November 13, 2024, episode of Dynamite. Reports have indicated that her current contract with AEW runs until at least the fall of 2026, with the company potentially having the option to add more time to the deal due to her inactivity.

I Think She’s Timeless, And I Think She’s Just Great

Jade Cargill has her sights set on a massive dream match for the grandest stage of them all. In a new interview, the former AEW TBS Champion named multi-time world champion and current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, Charlotte Flair, as the opponent she would choose to face at WrestleMania 42.

Speaking on Brandon Kravitzâ€s YouTube channel, Cargill was asked who she would pick for her opponent at WrestleMania 42 if she had the choice.

“Thatâ€s tough. That is so tough. Because itâ€s a dream match, Charlotte Flair. I would say Charlotte Flair. I love Charlotte Flair. I think anybody that gets in the ring with her, she pulls ‘em up to her level. I feel like she has endured every type of storm meant to break her. I think sheâ€s timeless, and I think sheâ€s just great. So, thatâ€s somebody that even when I entered this industry, I was like, ‘I would love to have a match with her,†and I never thought I would get the opportunity but, if I had that opportunity, it would be Charlotte Flair.â€

Cargill and Flair have crossed paths before in WWE, having feuded over the WWE Women’s Championship earlier this year. Their last encounter on the September 12 episode of SmackDown ended in a double countout.

Former AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida Announces She’s Returning To US

It’s been 11 months since All Elite Wrestling fans saw Hikaru Shida on their television. Luckily, that may soon change as the former AEW Women’s World Champion is once again en route to the United States.

“Soaking in the hot springs at the airport, eating curry in the lounge, and fully prepared!” Shida wrote on X alongside a photo of herself smiling at the airport. “See you later, Japan. I’m ready to go back to the US.”

Shida’s last AEW match pitted her against Kris Statlander on the November 20, 2024 episode of “AEW Dynamite.” Following that, reports indicated that she was confined to her homeland of Japan while she waited for her visa to be renewed.

While in Japan, Shida kept herself busy with a string of matches at independent promotions, such as WAVE, Gokigen Pro Wrestling, and Prominence. In April 2025, Shida competed at a special Lucha event in Tokyo, firstly in a tag match. Elsewhere in the show, she took part in a 16-person elimination match featuring wrestlers from all over the world, including her AEW colleagues Willow Nightingale, Viva Van, and Emi Sakura. Her latest in-ring performance took center stage in a tag match alongside Syuri at OZ Academy on September 7.

In July, Shida revealed that she had received a brand new Japanese passport, which allows her to travel internationally. Within the United States, Shida has found success as a three-time AEW Women’s Champion, with her latest reign ending at the hands of Toni Storm at AEW Full Gear in November 2023.

Shotzi Opens Up About Broken Arm, Says She’s In No Hurry To Return To WWE Or Join AEW

In May this year, Shotzi parted ways with WWE, ending her six-year tenure with the promotion. While many fans have wanted her to either return to WWE or sign with AEW, Shotzi has since been competing on the independent circuit, where she seems to be enjoying herself. Unfortunately, she recently suffered a broken arm, just as she was finding her footing.

“When I first got back on the indies, I was thinking like: oh, well, like if WWE or AEW hit me up, I’m, you know, I’m gonna take whatever comes at me!” she admitted during an interview with “TMZ Sports” recently. “Like, I don’t want to go back on TV, I want to, like, rehab my arm and get my strength back, so that plays into it too. I really just want to like, finish off this year and just have, like, a really good time on the indies…If I go back to TV, I’m like at full Shotzi-potential, full ballsy bada**, and I have all of my strength back in my arm.”

Shotzi has surprisingly been wrestling with a broken arm for much longer than most fans realize.Â

“I took a steel chair to my arm while I was doing a dive, and I knew immediately,” she recalled when asked if getting her arm run over by her tank was the moment she injured herself. Shotzi then added that she pushed through the aforementioned match despite knowing her arm was broken. Shotzi got more X-rays on her arm and admitted that multiple doctors said she needed surgery. Shotzi didn’t want to stop her momentum on the indies and asked for a thicker cast. Shotzi also added that her doctor was worried that she might lose rotation in her arm permanently, but recent X-rays have put her at ease.Â

“I think we’re good and I just need a few more weeks in the cast while I’m wrestling and, yeah, we’re going to be golden,” Shotzi said.
