Brandi Rhodes didnâ€t hold back after watching her husband Cody Rhodes get verbally lit up by Drew McIntyre during their WWE SmackDown contract signing. While most fans were locked in on the tension between Cody and Drew ahead of Saturday Nightâ€s Main Event, Brandi had her eyes on something else—Drew McIntyreâ€s outfit.

The segment ended in chaos after Drew insulted Codyâ€s family, calling himself the “real American Dream†and dropping a low blow about Codyâ€s daughters. Cody charged, but Drew dropped him with a Claymore and sent him crashing through a table.

But Brandi wasnâ€t about to let Drew slide without taking a shot of her own. She took to Twitter shortly after the segment aired to drag McIntyreâ€s leather-heavy ring attire—and it didnâ€t disappoint.

“Drew coming after the orange suit while heâ€s out there dressed like a dominatrix. Sure.â€

Cody may be dealing with high stakes this Saturday, but it looks like Brandiâ€s not afraid to do a little trash talking of her own in the meantime. Her clapback added fuel to the fire heading into the Undisputed WWE Championship match where Cody could lose his title if he gets disqualified or counted out. The fans were enraged, They now saw him as akin to a martyr who might be carried out on his shield because his directors wouldn’t back his vision to bring success.

The leak was poisonous, of course, and it was meant to hurt Rodgers, which it did. He called for an investigation and for the guilty person to be removed. If there was a probe then we heard no more about it.

At that point it was plain Rodgers was losing the support of the people above him.

The regular gripes about transfers were followed by a desperate beginning to the season. A feeble exit from the Champions League, flat domestic performances, a stench of decay in the air.

Blame was shifted. When Celtic lost to Dundee a few weeks back he said: “You can’t be given the keys to a Honda Civic and drive it like a Ferrari.”

If Rodgers had said that after losing a big Champions League game then it would have been contentious enough, but after a loss to Dundee – with a tiny fraction of Celtic’s resources – it was mortifying. Later, he doubled-down on it.

The fans, increasingly growing weary of excuses, didn’t buy it, but if it was a battle between Rodgers and the Celtic board then, in their eyes, Rodgers was still an emphatic winner.

Nothing was heard from Desmond, as usual, but the story of his business life tells us he doesn’t appreciate his people going rogue. Rodgers comment by Rodgers comment, those Desmond whiskers would have to started to dance.

Monday, in the wake of a loss to Hearts that put Celtic eight points behind Derek McInnes’ team, was the endgame. Desmond opened his laptop. Sudden, unsparing and almost startling in its intensity, he unburdened himself.

Unquestionably, elements of what Rodgers did and said was self-serving. He dropped hints that some players were being signed without his full approval, something that Desmond categorically denies.

He said as recently as Sunday that he was never more determined to fix things as he was right in the here and now, but the trust had obviously gone. In both directions.

A divorce is the wisest action. This was an irretrievable breakdown. Unseemly and embarrassing.

Rodgers made good points, though, and the supporters, though turning on him slightly in the wake of recent performances, were wholly behind him in other areas.

Some will see him now as a victim, a sacrificial lamb, a man who had the bravery to speak up about the problems the club faced and who got driven out because of it. Silenced and humiliated by Desmond.

It’s an interpretation with merit, but they were two parties involved in this break-up.

Through his caustic words, Desmond has made it a vicious separation. We’ll get Rodgers’s riposte in time, but his era is over now. No coming back this time, not even a chance of a proper farewell. A sad, but inevitable conclusion.

A WWE talent has stated that “Macho Man†Randy Savage gets left out of the “GOAT†conversation far too often.

There will always be debates among pro wrestling fans about who is the greatest of all time. While names like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, and John Cena come around very often in that conversation, WWE Pre-show analyst and Evolve commentator Peter Rosenberg thinks Randy Savageâ€s name should also be in the mix.

During his appearance on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, Peter Rosenberg stated that Randy Savage and Bret Hart were the first two wrestlers he fell in love with. He also said that Savage has been left out of the “GOAT†conversation too often and explained why his name deserves to be in the discussion.

“Savage to me, in some ways, I think gets left out of the GOAT conversation too often. I think Savage was just brilliant. From the second he arrived in WWF, because obviously I hadnâ€t seen him prior to that, to me, he was brand new when he got there. From the second he got there, immediate impact, like just grabbed everyoneâ€s attention, everyone hated him, and then everyone loved him.â€

“When you go back, what makes Macho Man the perfect wrestler was that good guy, I give him 100 as a good guy, as a baby face, awesome. As a heel, clearly 100, thereâ€s maybe nobody better. He was so easy to hate from a wrestling style standpoint, big guy, little guy. Put him in the ring with Ricky Steamboat, whoâ€s not a little guy, but on the smaller side relative to the biggest guys, him and Steamboat have an absolute classic. Put him in the ring with Andre, you know, no problem, gold. You could put him in with anyone and everyone looks good.â€

Randy “Macho Man†Savage is finally getting the Hollywood treatment—and the madness is going straight to the big screen.

Deadline reportsthat Saturday Night Live legend Kenan Thompson and Johnny Ryan Jr.â€s production company, Artists for Artists, is developing a feature film about the larger-than-life pro wrestling icon. The biopic, fittingly titled Macho, is based on a completed script by Savageâ€s brother, the late Lanny Poffo, and Eric Shapiro.

Savage, born Randy Poffo, passed away in 2011 at just 58 years old. A second-generation wrestler and former minor league baseball player, he rose to stardom in the 1980s through unforgettable runs in ICW, WWE, and WCW. Known for his gravelly voice, flamboyant outfits, and electric energy, Savage captured the hearts of millions while rewriting what it meant to be a sports entertainer.

The script will dive deep into Savageâ€s early run in Memphis with ICW, where he and his brother Lanny helped run their father Angelo Poffoâ€s promotion. Their feud with Jerry Lawler defined outlaw wrestling in the South. It will also chronicle Savageâ€s explosive WWF debut in 1985, his unforgettable pairing with Miss Elizabeth, and his rise through iconic Intercontinental Championship matches—especially his WrestleMania III classic against Ricky Steamboat.

Savageâ€s life was filled with legendary moments—his “Mega Powers†alliance and split with Hulk Hogan, winning the WWF Championship at WrestleMania IV, and wild feuds with Ric Flair, The Ultimate Warrior, and Jake Roberts. His WCW run kept him on top of the wrestling world into the Monday Night War era, even as tensions between him and WWE grew colder.

Eventually walking away from the business in 2001, Savage pursued music, acting, and remained out of the spotlight. A posthumous induction into the WWE Hall of Fame came in 2015, courtesy of Lanny Poffo.

The project also lands at a time when Savageâ€s former partner, “Miss Elizabeth†Hulette, is receiving renewed attention. The Capital City Museum in her hometown of Frankfort, Kentucky is currently running a free exhibit featuring some of her original WWF-era gowns and memorabilia. The exhibit will run through April 2027.

Artists for Artists†Johnny Ryan Jr. called Savage “the greatest showman of all time and the OG bad boy of entertainment.†Kenan Thompson added, “Macho Man is hands down one of the greatest of all time and canâ€t wait to bring his story to the screen!â€

With Savageâ€s story finally heading to the silver screen, wrestling fans may soon get the tribute he always deserved—from “Ooh Yeah!†to a cinematic legacy.
