Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley in the main event of “WWE Raw.”
Flair and Valkyria got the match started, with the challengers getting the better end of the early goings before Bliss tagged in for the first time. She had a brief rally at the beginning of her stretch, but found herself isolated and needing to get the hot tag back to Flair. She continued to battle both Bayley and Valkyria at the same time, though eventually the numbers caught up with her and Bayley caught Flair with the Bayley-to-Belly, but only for a near-fall.Â
Bliss tagged back in without Bayley or Valkyria noticing, taking advantage to hit the latter with the Sister Abigail DDT and make the cover. Bayley broke that fall at the last second, allowing Valkyria to then connect with Nightwing to Bliss for her own cover; Flair broke this one up at the last second, with her and Bayley tagging back into things. Flair hit the Big Boot and cinched in the Figure Eight Leglock, only for Valkyria to once again save things by catching Bayley’s hand before she tapped.Â
Bliss hit Twisted Bliss to break everything up, allowing her and Flair to connect with simultaneous Natural Selections to their respective opponents, and Flair making the winning cover.Â
After the match, the Kabuki Warriors attacked the champions as they were going to celebrate. They sought to attack Valkyria afterward, but Bayley came between them and the Warriors retreated up the ramp to close the segment and thus the show. With the result, Flair and Bliss completed their fifth defense since capturing the titles from Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez at SummerSlam. Â

A WWE star is apparently making quite the impression in the company. This has reportedly prompted discussions about locking them down before their contract expires.
Dragon Lee recently performed in a match against Dominik Mysterio during the AAA Héroes Inmortales event, which caught the attention of the pro-wrestling community. The 30-year-old Lee burst into the WWE scene in 2022, making an impression during his time in the NXT brand. His consistent performances in the developmental brand eventually led to him being moved to the main roster, where he joined the Latino World Order (LWO).
According to a report from PWI, his continued spectacular performances have significantly raised his stock in the company. Lee also recently became one-half of the World Tag Team Champions alongside AJ Styles, defeating Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day in the process.
These instances have apparently led the company to consider locking him down for the long term, which could mean that he is on the way to becoming a WWE main event talent.
It was said there are some in WWE who have already brought up that they need to lock Dragon Lee up for a new deal before his current one expires next year.

Dragon Lee And AJ Styles May Already Have Received A Challenge From A Team Of WWE Legends
While it hasn’t been long since Dragon Lee and AJ Styles became Tag Team Champions, a wrestling legend, Matt Hardy, has already hinted at challenging the freshly crowned duo.
Matt and Jeff Hardy are considered to be one of the most influential tag teams of all time. After Dragon Lee and AJ Styles defeated The Judgment Day, Matt posted a photograph on X/Twitter of him and Jeff, seemingly teasing a challenge.
What an unexpected Twist of Fate,†Hardy captioned his tweet.

It remains to be seen whether the two teams will ever actually square off inside the ring. As of now, Dragon Lee appears to be on fire, and his momentum shows no signs of slowing down.

Ricky Saints defeated Trick Williams at Halloween Havoc on Saturday to retain the NXT Championship.
Several weeks ago, Saints and Williams joined forces as part of Team NXT in the four-on-four men’s elimination match against Team TNA on the NXT vs. TNA Showdown edition of NXT.
Saints was chosen by NXT general manager Ava as the captain of Team NXT, which angered Williams, who felt he was deserving of the honor given his status as an NXT Superstar who was the reigning TNA world champion at the time.
During the latter stages of the match, Williams walked out, leaving Saints to fend for himself. Saints was unable to overcome Mike Santana and Moose, as Team TNA came out on top.
Trick went on to drop the TNA world title to Santana at Bound for Glory, but it wasn’t long before he was granted another shot at championship gold.
On the Oct. 14 episode of NXT, an enraged Saints called out Williams, but rather than coming to the ring to confront Saints, Trick responded from the backstage area.
Later in the show, Saints was laid out backstage at the hands of Williams, setting the stage for their NXT Championship match.
On the go-home episode of NXT before Halloween Havoc, both Saints and Williams cut fiery promos on each other. Trick hit Ricky with a sucker punch, but Saints stood tall to end the show.
That momentum worked to Saints’ advantage at Halloween Havoc, as he got the better of Williams and retained in his first title defense since winning it from Oba Femi at No Mercy.

“Hangman” Adam Page defeated Samoa Joe at WrestleDream on Saturday to retain the AEW World Championship.
Page won after hitting Samoa Joe with three Buckshot Lariats.
After the match, Samoa Joe raised Page’s arm in victory as a sign of respect, but it was a ruse. Samoa Joe and The Opps then ferociously attacked Page post-match.
In recent months, Page and Joe had common enemies in Jon Moxley and The Death Riders, which resulted in them lending each other a helping hand and even teaming up on occasion.
One such instance occurred on the Oct. 1 episode of Dynamite when Page, Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs joined forces to beat the Death Riders trio of Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Daniel Garcia.
While it was a great victory for the babyface team, Page and Joe ended up having an altercation after Joe seemingly felt Hangman wasn’t being respectful.
Security had to separate Page and Joe, and with emotions still running high, Hangman called out Joe and challenged him to a match during a backstage interview.
Page said he took issue with Joe telling him that he had never beaten the Samoan Submission Machine before during their argument, although what Joe said wasn’t incorrect.
Joe, Swerve Strickland and Brian Cage beat Page, Hook and Rob Van Dam in a six-man tag team match in early 2024, and Joe later went on to win a three-way match against Page and Strickland at Revolution in March 2024.
In the latter victory, Joe retained the AEW World Championship by making Page tap out to the Coquina Clutch.
That perhaps gave Joe the mental edge entering WrestleDream, although it marked the first-ever meeting between him and Page in a one-on-one match.
Page conquered his demons on Saturday, getting past one of his biggest threats yet in Joe to continue his reign as AEW world champ.

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio retained his Intercontinental Championship over Penta during “WWE Raw” using nefarious means.Â
Mysterio was making the seventh defense of his title against Penta, with the luchador having previously challenged him twice before on “WWE Raw” in April and at Backlash in May, and the third time proved to be the charm for the champion when all was said and done.Â
The challenger had Mysterio on the back foot towards the closing stretch, with Mysterio seemingly looking to retreat from the bout before Rusev emerged on the ramp, fumed after his loss to the champion a couple of weeks ago.Â
Penta flew over the ropes to take out Rusev, while Mysterio went to the timekeeper’s area and sought to grab his titles. Instead he found the bell hammer, using the commotion caused by Penta and Rusev’s collision to bring it into the ring unnoticed, hitting Penta with it and following up with the frog splash for the winning pinfall before finally sneaking it into his boot to celebrate the victory.Â
The final bell never technically rung with the hammer out of the timekeeper’s reach, and Mysterio was shown discarding it after claiming both the Intercontinental and AAA Mega Championships and celebrating up the ramp.Â
WPL Auction in November. (ANI Photo) NEW DELHI: The Womenâ€s Premier League (WPL) has announced key guidelines for the upcoming mega auction, allowing teams to retain up to five players ahead of the high-profile event. The retention deadline is set for November 5, while the auction window will be between November 25 to 29, as communicated to franchises on Thursday.Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW!Each team can retain a maximum of three capped Indian players, two overseas players, and two uncapped Indian players. If a franchise chooses to retain all five players, at least one must be an uncapped Indian. This rule ensures a balance between experienced stars and emerging talent in the squads. For the first time in WPL history, franchises can use the Right-to-Match (RTM) option, allowing them to buy back players from their 2025 squads. Each team is entitled to five RTMs, though the number varies depending on retention. Teams retaining all five players lose the RTM option, while those retaining fewer players get more RTMs — four for one retention, three for two, two for three, and one for four.
Poll
How many players do you think most teams will opt to retain?
The league has set an auction purse of Rs 15 crore per team. Standard retention prices have been outlined across five slabs: Rs 3.5 crore for Player 1, Rs 2.5 crore for Player 2, Rs 1.75 crore for Player 3, Rs 1 crore for Player 4, and Rs 50 lakh for Player 5. Deductions from the auction purse are proportional to the number of retained players, with Rs 9.25 crore deducted for five retentions. Negotiations between franchises and players can alter these amounts, with uncapped Indians carrying a minimum retention value of Rs 50 lakh. The WPL has also set a clear timeline leading up to the auction: player retention lists are due by November 5, auction entry lists by November 7, the final player registration by November 18, and the official auction list will be released on November 20. These measures aim to ensure transparency and maintain competitive balance as the WPL gears up for another thrilling season.

Merab Dvalishvili held on to the bantamweight title for the third time in 2025 with a unanimous decision win over Cory Sandhagen in the UFC 320 co-main event.
Dvalishvili now has the third-longest win streak in UFC history, only behind Islam Makhachev, Kamaru Usman and Anderson Silva, per ESPN.
Dvalishvili has wasted no time in showing that he’s one of the most dominant featherweight champions of all time. The 135er has now racked up three title defenses since the turn of the calendar to 2025.
Dvalishvili beat Sean O’Malley to earn the title in September of 2024 and hasn’t looked back. He beat Umar Nurgamodev with a dominant unanimous decision before he took out O’Malley with a third-round submission in a rematch.
With Sandhagen now behind him, it likely won’t be long before we see him in the cage again. Dvalishvili laid out his plans ahead of this fight with an eye on another title defense in mind for 2025.
if I win, I’m gonna come back quick, turn around. I want to fight in December. I will ask the UFC [for] a favour to give me another fight in December or even November,” he said in August.
“I don’t care, I can come back, because Petr Yan is [a] clear contender right now. He deserves it, I don’t want to make him wait too long.”
Dvalishvili beat Yan back in 2023, but the former champion has wins over Song Yadong, Deiveson Figueiredo and Marcus McGhee to put himself right back in title contention.
Yan would make sense as the next challenge. His previous loss to the champion will make him a big underdog, but Dvalishvili already holds wins over the top four fighters in the UFC rankings.
It’s hard to see anyone really pushing Dvalishvili until a new contender comes along or he decides to move up to featherweight.
WWEâ€s NXT brand dropped a major reveal on the September 30 episode—and it all centers around Lainey Reid and the Fatal Attraction crew.
Reid was originally slated to challenge for the WWE Speed Title at No Mercy, but her match was pulled, and Jaida Parker took her place. While Reid didnâ€t step into the ring, it turns out she still had a major role at the event—just one fans didnâ€t see coming.
In a backstage segment on NXT, Lainey Reid revealed that she was the masked woman who interfered in the NXT Womenâ€s Title match at No Mercy. That interference helped Jacy Jayne retain her championship against Lola Vice.
Reid proudly admitted it to Jayne and Fallon Henley, smirking as she bragged about still being part of No Mercy despite being taken off the official card.
But she didnâ€t stop there. Reid also confessed to being the one who attacked Jazmyn Nyx—an attack that sidelined Nyx and effectively removed her from the Fatal Influence stable. That twist reshapes the entire dynamic within NXTâ€s womenâ€s division.
With betrayals, masked interference, and shifting alliances, this storyline has gone full soap opera. And with Reid now cemented as a wild card in the division, the Fatal Attraction stable might be stronger—and more chaotic—than ever.
What do you think about Lainey Reidâ€s reveal? Did NXT pull off the swerve, or did you see it coming? Let us know how you feel about this new chapter.

India beat Pakistan by five wickets in a tense final to retain the Asia Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
It was the third meeting between the rivals at the tournament and success for India earned them a ninth title.
Both sides again refused to shake hands – as they had in the two earlier fractious encounters.
The India players did not reappear for the trophy presentation and Indian cricket board (BCCI) secretary Devajit Saikia later said the players refused to accept the winner’s trophy from Asian Cricket Council president Mohsin Naqvi, who is also the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
India captain Suryakumar Yadav said: “It’s one thing that I have never seen in my career that a champion team is denied its trophy.”
The two nations engaged in a brief military conflict in May, which Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi referenced when congratulating the players on social media.
Even before that conflict, the cricket teams would only face each other at neutral venues.
Made to bat first, Pakistan started superbly, with Sahibzada Farhan (57) and Fakhar Zaman (46) putting together an impressive opening stand of 84.
They rallied to 113-1 with 44 balls left in the innings, but the collapse that followed would be dramatic and prove pivotal to the outcome.
With the help of left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav (4-30) and some poor shots, India took the remaining nine wickets for just 33 runs as a shellshocked Pakistan were bundled out for 146 with five deliveries still left in their innings.

Tiffany Stratton beat Jade Cargill and Nia Jax in a Triple Threat match on Friday night’s episode of SmackDown to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.
Stratton won after hitting Jax with the Prettiest Moonsault ever.
After the match, current Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer walked out to the ring. The two champions then stared each other down with their title belts held high as the show went off the air.
Those two will be fighting for the WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship in Perth, Australia on Oct. 11.
Stratton has had long-running rivalries with both Jax and Cargill, and it all came to a head Friday when she had to put the title on the line against both of them.
The issues between Stratton and Jax date back to Stratton’s time as Miss Money in the Bank. Tiffany was in an alliance with Jax, but she tossed it aside by successfully cashing in on Nia to become women’s champ back in January.
More recently, Stratton entered into a program with Cargill, who became No. 1 contender for the WWE Women’s Championship by winning the Queen of the Ring tournament.
Cargill’s Queen of the Ring triumph set up a women’s title clash with Stratton at SummerSlam, but Stratton prevailed, denying Jade her first taste of singles gold in WWE.
Rather than simply accepting the loss and moving on, Cargill kept pushing for another title shot, and she put herself in position for one by helping Tiffany beat Jax and Becky Lynch in a tag team match on the Aug. 22 episode of SmackDown.
The rematch was set for the Sept. 12 edition of SmackDown, and both Superstars proceeded to empty the tack in what was a highly physical affair.
It ended in a double count-out when neither woman was able to make it back into the ring before the count of 10, but the night wasn’t over yet for Tiffany and Jade, as Nia arrived on the scene to attack both of them while they were in a weakened state.
The next week on SmackDown, there was a confrontation between Stratton, Cargill and Jax, and the decision was made for them to duke it out in a Triple Threat match with the title on the line.
While all three Superstars had their chances to prevail and leave SmackDown with the title in tow, it was Tiffany who once again overcame the odds to keep her title reign intact.
