Nathan Frazer is wearing a black vest

WWE

On his path to defeating Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins injured his shoulder while executing a coast-to-coast headbutt on “The American Nightmare.” As such, the now-former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is expected to be out of action for six months following his surgery. While appearing on “No-Contest Wrestling” podcast, “WWE SmackDown” star Nathan Frazer weighed in on the recent development.

“I wish him a very speedy recovery in this what seems to be a shoulder injury,” Frazer said, alluding to the ruse that involved Rollins faking a knee injury to successfully cash-in his Money in the Bank contract at WWE SummerSlam 2025. Unlike his knee injury, the damage to Rollins’ shoulder is said to be legitimate, with WWE later stripping him of the World Heavyweight Championship.

According to Frazer, his relationship with Rollins extends back to 2018, when the UK native began his in-ring training at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, run by Rollins and Marek Brave. At the time, Frazer was two years deep into a soccer scholarship at Tennessee Wesleyan University. After receiving money from his parents and getting accepted to train at Black and Brave, Frazer then headed to Davenport, Iowa over the summer.

“It was a crazy experience because [Rollins] was really, really present for those three months that I was training,” Frazer recalled. “I think he only missed one or two training sessions because of birthdays or he was away on a European tour, but he was very present and I got to build a rapport and a relationship with him. I got to come back every summer break from college. I would just come back and spend time at the school and just train and wrestle in the Midwest as well and build my connections there.”

While Rollins is currently sitting on the sidelines, Frazer is confident that their path will cross once again, this time for a match on WWE’s main roster that Frazer foresees as “cinema.”

Shreyas Iyerâ€s recovery from a spleen injury sustained during Indiaâ€s third ODI against Australia in Sydney continues steadily, with the 30-year-old understood to be out of intensive care and responding well after undergoing minor surgery.

According to Cricbuzz, the procedure performed in Sydney last week, was necessary after Iyer suffered a ruptured spleen while diving forward to take a catch during Saturdayâ€s match at the SCG. The operation was described as minor, though it has required a short period of rest and observation.

The BCCI, working in concert with team medical staff led by Dr Rizwan Khan, remains in regular contact with Iyer. Arrangements are also being made for a family member to travel from Mumbai to Sydney.

Team sources report that Iyer has resumed light daily activities, taking calls and eating meals prepared by friends. He is expected to remain under supervision for several more days before any decision is made about travel or rehabilitation.

While diving forward to complete the catch on the run, he suffered an awkward fall that resulted in a ruptured spleen and necessitated immediate hospitalisation. “Shreyas is much, much, much better. His recovery has been much faster than what the doctor expected. Iâ€m in regular touch with Dr Rizwan (Khan, Indian team doctor who stayed back with Iyer to assist with his treatment at the Sydney hospital). Normally, he should take six to eight weeks (to recover completely), but you can expect a surprise from him because he may recover much earlier,†Saikia told TOI.

Suryakumar Yadav press conference: On Shreyas Iyer’s injury, his own form and Australia series

“The doctors are very satisfied with his progress. He has started his normal functioning (routine chores). His injury was very severe, but he has recovered and is out of danger, which is why he was shifted from the ICU to his room in the hospital yesterday,†the Board secretary added. Saikia said that Iyer didnâ€t undergo surgery but “a different procedure.†“Shreyas didnâ€t undergo a surgery but underwent a different procedure, which is why he recovered so early,†Saikia revealed. The “different procedure,†it is understood, was needed to immediately stop the internal bleeding. “The usual hospital stay for this injury is 7–10 days. So, Iyer is likely to be in the hospital for that long,†a source tracking developments told this paper. The BCCI is arranging for Shreyas†sister, Shresta Iyer, to fly to Sydney to join and help him out there soon. “The BCCI has done its best to help Shreyas out. It is learnt that on Tuesday, Iyer was in fine shape, eating solid food, walking in the Sydney hospital without support, and taking phone calls. Providing an update on his condition, Indiaâ€s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav, speaking to reporters ahead of the first T20I against Australia, said, “We spoke to him at least on the first day when we got to know that he had an injury. I called him first. Then I found out that he did not have a phone. So I called the physio, Kamlesh. He told me that he is stable. On the first day, I donâ€t know how, but he was looking good. We have been talking for two days now. He has been replying. If he is replying on the phone, it means he is stable. “There is also a doctor there, so it is looking good. I mean, he is good. He is talking. Everything is normal. He said that he will take care of himself for a few more days. But he has been replying, talking to everyone, so it is good,†the India T20 skipper, currently in Canberra, said. In Mumbai, Mumbai captain and India all-rounder Shardul Thakur also revealed to the media that he “spoke to Shreyas.†“He was stable,†said the pacer.Pratika Rawal to be out of action for four months Meanwhile, the BCCI secretary revealed that India womenâ€s team opener Pratika Rawal, who picked up a knee injury while trying to save a boundary, will be “out of action for four to six months.†“Pratika will be out of action for four months. The womenâ€s selection committee has named Shafali Verma as her replacement,†Saikia informed. The injury to Rawal came just three days before Indiaâ€s crucial World Cup semifinal clash against Australia. The 25-year-old Delhi batter had scored a fine century against New Zealand and was Indiaâ€s second-highest run-getter in the tournament, behind her senior opening partner Smriti Mandhana. She has been replaced by 21-year-old Shafali Verma.

During his injury recovery, there were several points where AEW star Eddie Kingston felt like he didn’t want to return.

Kingston suffered a broken leg and torn ACL in May 2024 and could not wrestle for more than a year. The recovery process was taxing both physically and mentally — and Kingston’s “mental sh*t” caused him to almost quit AEW on multiple occasions.

On a new episode of AEW Close Up with Renee Paquette, Kingston addressed why it’s difficult for him to accept praise from people.

“I am flawed. Why the f*ck should I be adored?,” Kingston said. “Iâ€m not perfect. Iâ€m f*cking flawed. I make f*cking mistakes every day. Do you understand, I must have quit this company eight times when I was out because of my own mental sh*t. I am not a good employee. Iâ€m not. Iâ€m a pain in the f*cking ass because Iâ€m passionate about it.”

Accepting praise is hard for Kingston because he still has a lot of guilt over things he’s done and the way he’s treated people in his past. He was brought up believing that you shouldn’t take the spotlight. You should just do what you need to do to survive and move on.

Kingston also finds praise uncomfortable because he still feels like he has more to do to raise both his personal profile and elevate AEW as a company.

In his return from injury, Kingston defeated Big Bill at AEW All Out this September. He’s now formed a tag team with Hook, with Kingston & Hook defeating The Frat House on the Tailgate Brawl for AEW WrestleDream last weekend.

WWE star Zoey Stark shared a positive update with fans regarding her recovery from a devastating knee injury. Stark has been out of action since the May 19, 2025, episode of RAW, where she tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. The severe injury required a grueling three-hour surgery and has kept her sidelined for the past five months.

In a new video posted to her Instagram on October 18, Stark joyfully announced that she has passed a major hurdle in her rehabilitation. Stark explained that her recovery had stalled, and she was facing the frightening possibility of a second procedure, which would have pushed her return date back even further.

“In the last video, one of the reasons why I was having a hard time was because I was told that either I would have to get a scope done, which is where they go in, clean out my knee and scar tissue, or to get a manipulation under anesthesia. One of the reasons being is because I didnâ€t have full range of motion and that would have pushed my recovery back and thatâ€s why I was so upset and having a really hard time with it.â€

Stark powered through her physical therapy, and in the new video, she excitedly confirmed that she managed to avoid the second surgery and is now back on schedule.

“But now weâ€re back on track. That did not have to happen. Thank God. Now Iâ€m running, Iâ€m jumping, I have full range of motions. Things are going great. Honestly, Iâ€m happy. Iâ€m blessed.â€

With this setback avoided, Stark is now focused on her eventual comeback and sent a final message to the fans. “I really, really canâ€t wait to get back into the ring and get back to you guys. So thatâ€s all—Stark out.â€

TNA star Chris Bey continues to hit huge personal milestones as he defies the odds in his broken neck recovery.

It’s been nearly one year since Bey suffered a broken neck during an in-ring accident while competing at a TNA TV taping in October 2024. There was initially doubt that he would ever walk again, but Bey is back on his feet and has now been discharged from physical therapy. On a new episode of Talk is Jericho, Bey revealed that he is able to live an independent life where he can do things on his own.

“I’m completely independent where I can dress myself, I can feed myself,” Bey said. “One of the things that I struggled with last was my grip strength as far as opening things. I couldn’t really open bottles and stuff. And I still have trouble depending on the type of bottle, opening things. But I can drive myself now. I can pretty much do everything that I need to do, you know, on the day-to-day basis.”

The one thing Bey is not able to do, at least at the moment, is wrestle. His present goal is just to wake up and feel good in life. As far as long-term, Bey believes he’ll be able to wrestle again one day even if it’s just one more match — but he knows that it will be no time soon.

“I truly look at it like, I’m going to let time tell me. And I’m going to let my body tell me,” Bey said. “I think when I think about wrestling, it’s not so much about going back to wrestling and getting back in wrestling as much as it is at least finishing my story my way, whether that means one more match or one more program, whatever it is.”

The 29-year-old Bey said he wants to eventually focus on having a family one day. While out of action, he’s open to contributing in other roles like producing or even doing something on-screen. Bey said he’s talked with TNA about potentially shadowing other agents when he’s able to. Bey noted that part of his recovery has been learning how to speak again, so doing something like commentary would help him build up those skills.

Bey made an appearance at TNA’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view in Lowell, Massachusetts last weekend. Before the show, TNA President Carlos Silva celebrated him with a TNA All Star Award.

In TNA, Bey is a three-time Tag Team Champion and was one of the promotion’s top up-and-coming stars before his injury.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been handed a blow after discovering how long his skipper Martin Odegaard will be sidelined for.

The 26-year-old suffered a medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury during his side’s 2-0 victory over West Ham on October 4, when he was subbed off after just 30 minutes in what was Arteta’s 300th match in charge of the club.

The club would initially rule the Norway star out until the current international break without setting a timeline for his return, but have now confirmed when they expect him to be fit again.

Now, according to the BBC, Odegaard is not expected back until after the November international break.

This means that the Gunners captain will miss Premier League fixtures against Fulham, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Sunderland, plus Champions League clashes against Atletico Madrid and Slavia Prague.

Arsenal’s first match back after the November break is a north London derby against Tottenham on November 23, a match which Odegaard will be targeting to make his return.

Arteta will be aware, however, that this latest problem came after Odegaard was forced off during the first half of three consecutive Premier League matches.

Spain international Mikel Merino has been Arteta’s first-choice replacement for Idegaard, who struggled with a shoulder injury, slotting in alongside Declan Rice, with Martin Zubimendi sitting behind them.

Other options to replace the former Real Madrid man in his usual role include summer signing Eberechi Eze and homegrown talent Ethan Nwaneri.

Arteta addressed Odegaard’s absence following the West Ham match, saying: “Yeah we haven’t had him since the start for one reason or another. The shoulder twice and then this injury. We have to wait and see the extent of the injury.

“We will have to find solutions but obviously [Odegaard] is our captain and is a player that gives us a completely different dimension with things that he can do, especially in the attack.”

Arsenal moved ahead of Liverpool before the current international break and currently sit one point clear at the top of the early Premier League table.

Adam Cole’s love of gaming is no secret, and now the AEW star has joined a new video game outside of the wrestling world. Cole has provided his voice for a new game ‘Curiosity’ from DarkBear Studios. The game is now available on Steamand Steam Deck and is currently on offer for a limited time.

From DarkBear Studios:

“In Curiosity, players embody a small but determined cat on a perilous climb home. Every leap requires precision, patience, and persistence: one mistake can send you tumbling down. With nine lives to spare (and consequences for losing them all), players must master every jump, uncover mysterious lore, and survive a journey thatâ€s as emotional as it is demanding.

“Drawing inspiration from titles like Only Up and Getting Over It, Curiosity offers a modern evolution of the genre: combining the viral tension of vertical climbing games with a rich story; a hand-crafted world, and traditional platforming elements like secrets, collectibles, checkpoints, and even potential skips for the most daring players.”

Cole’s voice acting role comes amid his latest injury in AEW. In July, Cole was forced to vacate the TNT Championship due to another concussion. At All In: Texas, Cole admitted that he is uncertain about his pro-wrestling future and the wrestling world shared messages of support for the AEW star.

It remains to be seen whether Cole returns to the ring, but Curiosity shows that there are opportunities for him outside of the squared circle. We at SEScoops are continuing to wish Cole the very best on his recovery.

NEW YORK — Bo Bichette was set to run Wednesday for the first time since spraining his left knee last month, and the Toronto Blue Jays still hope their starting shortstop will be able to return to the lineup later this postseason.

A two-time All-Star, Bichette ended the regular season on the injured list and was left off the roster for the AL Division Series against the New York Yankees. He took at-bats in a simulated game Tuesday in Toronto against teammates Max Scherzer and Chris Bassitt, then joined the Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium.

“The last three days have been pretty positive for him,” manager John Schneider said Wednesday. “Running today for the first time. We’ll take it a day at a time and just listen to how he’s feeling.

“… I think he’s probably turned the corner a little bit in terms of making some steady progress. It wasn’t just kind of hitting in the cage; it was facing some live pitching and knowing that he was going to be running today for the first time.”

Bichette hasn’t played since Sept. 6, when he sprained his knee in a collision with Yankees catcher Austin Wells.

“I think he’s making some strides, and we’ll continue to take it a day at a time,” Schneider said.

If Toronto advances, they would open the best-of-seven AL Championship Series at home on Sunday.

Andres Gimenez, a three-time Gold Glove winner at second base with Cleveland Guardians, has shifted from second to shortstop with the Blue Jays lately to help fill in for Bichette.

The 27-year-old Bichette put together a strong season before getting injured, hitting .311 with 18 home runs, 94 RBIs and an .840 OPS in 139 games. He finished second in the majors in batting average to Yankees slugger Aaron Judge.

Bichette, who can become a free agent after the World Series, is the son of former major league slugger Dante Bichette.

Arsenal have confirmed that captain Martin Odegaard is set to face a spell on the sidelines with injury.

The Norwegian left the Emirates Stadium with his knee in a brace after a collision with Hammers winger Crysencio Summerville, which saw him replaced by Martin Zubimendi after just 30 minutes.

The 26-year-old had only just recently returned from a shoulder injury, but could now miss further games for the Gunners.

In a statement on their official club website, Arsenal confirmed that Odegaard has suffered a medial collateral ligament injury to his left knee.

They added that he has therefore been withdrawn from international duty with Norway, where he was due to face Israel and New Zealand over the coming week, to be assessed and treated by club medics with “the aim of a return to action as soon as possible”.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is often coy around return dates and selection issues, as all Fantasy Premier League fans will know, but we do have some idea how long the midfielder could be facing out of action.

Physio Scout, a respected football injury analyst on X, has provided a clearer timeline than the club has offered, with a couple of caveats.

They state that if Odegaard has suffered a grade one strain, he could face one to three weeks out, a grade two would see him out for three to six weeks, and a grade three could lead to up to 10 weeks on the sidelines, potentially more.

Thankfully for those connected to the north London outfit, the analyst has revealed that, based on the footage and information available, a grade three seems unlikely, but stated that further assessment will be needed to clarify an exact recovery time.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta

Mikel Arteta will be gutted to lose his captain for any length of time, but summer recruitment means he still has plenty of options (Image credit: Getty Images)

In FourFourTwo’s opinion, the update from the sports scientist will provide some peace of mind, as anything to do with a knee ligament risks waving goodbye to a player for the rest of the season.

Thanks to the Gunners’ summer recruitment, however, Arteta will not be too panicked, with the man who replaced Odegaard, Zubimendi, a more than suitable replacement.

That’s not to mention the likes of Mikel Merino and Christian Norgaard also in reserve, the latter being an unused substitute against West Ham, so Arteta will have plenty of options at his disposal.

Odegaard is worth €85m, according to Transfermarkt. Arsenal next face Fulham when Premier League action returns after the October international break.
