AJ Lee on

WWE

It’s been over a month since AJ Lee has been seen on WWE television, with her most recent appearance taking place at Wrestlepalooza when she and her husband CM Punk defeated Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in tag team action. Following the event, it seemed like Lee was in line to wrestle Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, but her recent absence prompted fans to question if she had picked up an injury. Thankfully, in a now deleted Facebook post, Lee shared an update on her hiatus from the ring and assured fans that she’s healthy.

“On a book tour. Not injured, but I appreciate the concern. Also, thanks Becky Lynch for keeping the title warm for me. Momma will be back, soon.”

Earlier this year, Lee released a comic book titled “Day of the Dead Girl, Volume 1,” which she co-wrote with American actress Aimee Garcia. Both writers have worked on several comic books together for the past six years, and co-founded their own media company in 2020 under the name Scrappy Heart Productions. Lee’s most famous project is arguably the book she released in 2017 called “Crazy Is My Superpower,” which follows her journey living with bipolar disorder and battling mental illness.

As for Lynch, her most recent challenger for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship has been Maxxine Dupri, who has scored two wins over “The Man” without the title changing hands due to both victories occurring via Disqualification and Count Out. Going forward, it remains to be seen if Dupri will get another shot at the title, or if Lee will be Lynch’s next challenger upon her imminent return.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett will soon become a mother for the third time, but that doesn’t mean she’s finished in the world of pro wrestling. While the prospect of three children may leave some hanging up their boots for good, Maria made clear on X that she’ll be looking for a new ‘wrestling home’ once she and Mike’s next child arrives.

Maria’s post spawned a flurry of responses as fans shared their excitement for her eventual return to pro wrestling. Some argued that Maria should return to TNA Wrestling, where she is a former Knockouts Champion. Others pitched GCW or Major League Wrestling, while some suggested a return to WWE should be in order.

In April 2018, Maria and Mike welcomed their first child, a daughter named Fredrica “Freddie” Moon Bennett. In February 2020, the couple welcomed their son Carver Mars Bennett into the world. It was in June 2025 that Maria shared that she was pregnant with the couple’s third child.

Maria made her wrestling debut in 2004 as part of WWE’s Divas Search and has been a presence in the industry ever since. While she is currently focusing on her upcoming child, as well as her battle with skin cancer, fans haven’t seen the last of her in pro wrestling.

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry admitted to reporters Wednesday that his fumbles this season (one apiece over his first three games) are “rough.” However, he is focused on rectifying the matter moving forward.

The 31-year-old Henry, a five-time Pro Bowler, isn’t slowing down in his 10th NFL season. Over three games, Henry has rushed for 242 yards and three touchdowns on 41 carries (5.9 yards per attempt).

However, he’s also encountered issues holding onto the football, and two of those turnovers proved costly in Raven losses.

In Week 1, the Ravens were up 40-32 against the Buffalo Bills with 3:10 left. Baltimore was trying to run out the clock at this point. On 1st-and-10 from the Ravens’ 41-yard line, Henry got the ball, but defensive tackle Ed Oliver caused a fumble, which was recovered by linebacker Terrel Bernard.

In response, Buffalo scored a touchdown, forced a three-and-out and then kicked a field goal for the 41-40 win.

In Week 2, Henry fumbled in the second quarter of a 41-17 home win over the Cleveland Browns. However, Baltimore wide receiver Tylan Wallace recovered the ball and even caught a 15-yard touchdown pass on the next play, so it wasn’t a big deal at all.

In Week 3, the Ravens trailed 28-24 to the Detroit Lions with 8:31 left in the fourth quarter. Henry got the ball on 1st-and-10 from the Ravens’ 21-yard line, but Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson caused a fumble.

Lions cornerback D.J. Reed recovered it, and Detroit kicked a 45-yard field goal on its next drive en route to a 38-30 win.

Henry spent eight years with the Tennessee Titans before signing with the Ravens as a free agent before last season. He was fantastic for Baltimore last year, amassing 2,114 total yards and 18 touchdowns for the AFC North champions.

Obviously, this season has gotten off to a tough start for Baltimore at 1-2, but its two losses are against teams that could very well be in the Super Bowl this year. As far as Henry’s fumble issues, his three this year already match his three last season. However, he didn’t have any the year before and has just 23 overall for his career on 2,572 touches.

The bet here is on Henry figuring things out and not having a season-long fumbling issue. That would be good news for a Ravens team that’s greatly benefitted from Henry’s rushing prowess otherwise.

Henry and the Ravens will look to get back on track Sunday when they visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters Monday that the defense “will make changes” after getting torched by the Chicago Bears’ passing attack on Sunday.

“Some might be scheme,” he said, referring to the pending adjustments. “Some might be personnel.”

Something needs to change. In the past two weeks alone, the defense has given up 720 yards and seven touchdowns through the air, offering minimal resistance to opposing quarterbacks and wide receivers.

It’s hard not to point out that the Cowboys chose to trade superstar edge-rusher Micah Parsons ahead of the 2025 season, a player who certainly would have benefitted the pass defense given his ability to consistently provide pressure.

Through three games, the Cowboys have four sacks. They didn’t get to Caleb Williams once on Sunday. It’s a problem, and the Cowboys know it.

“Well, of course, if we can’t cover them, there’s not but one thing to do, and that’s try to rush them up,” team owner Jerry Jones told reporters Monday when asked if the Cowboys needed to bring additional rushers if the front four weren’t getting to the quarterback. “But we’ve got to get better. We got to get more on the (same) page. I’m confident we will. This is inordinate to have that many big plays.”
