WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently underwent a minor heart procedure, which he recently opened up about, shooting down reports that it was a major surgery. In a recent episode of his podcast, “Kliq This,” Nash commented on whether anyone reached out to him from the wrestling industry following the news of his heart procedure.

“I text Cody [Rhodes] back because he asked how my procedure went, Cody did,” Nash said before recalling what he said to Cody Rhodes about his current feud with Seth Rollins. “And I told him, I said: you know, it’s nice to see two f**king guys that caliber, you know, that basically give you, like, just by putting their name next to each other, give you a fire star angle.” Nash went on to opine that the work rate and promo work of the feud will likely be great and that the two men give the feud a feeling of real sports.

Nash was then asked if he thinks that the WWE Universal Champion has some creative liberty in the storytelling of the match. “Yes. I think that Paul [Levesque] would [allow it] when you’re at that level,” he expressed, adding that Paul Levesque might see it one way, but as someone who was one of the boys and – as Nash put it- always one of the best minds, he’ll always consider input. “The last thing you wanna do is book a guy when he’s got an idea that might be easier for him to accomplish. Paul’s always going to -He’s a great communicator with the talent.”

Besides competing in the WWE ring, Drew McIntyre is also making waves in Hollywood. Kevin Nash believes a former WWE star is helping him make his mark in Hollywood.

McIntyre recently landed a role in the upcoming Highlander reboot. McIntyre will star alongside Henry Cavill, who plays the role of Connor McLeod. McIntyre will portray his brother, Angus MacLeod.

During a recent conversation on Kliq This, Kevin Nash spoke about McIntyre and his forthcoming role in the Highlander movie. Nash responded to a fanâ€s comment about being unhappy with McIntyreâ€s position in WWE and how the movie allowed him to take a break from TV. Nash mentioned the reunion of Batista and McIntyre in the film and noted that this isnâ€t a coincidence. This is why he believes that Batista could be helping Drew McIntyre get more opportunities and action in Hollywood.

“Thatâ€s the second film that him and Batista have been together in. So I think Daveâ€s helping Drew get some action,†Nash said (H/T: WrestlingInc).

Prior to the Highlander reboot, Batista and Drew McIntyre shared the screen in 2024â€s The Killerâ€s Game. As far as his WWE career goes, Drew McIntyre last competed at last monthâ€s Wrestlepalooza event, where he unsuccessfully challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Since then, he started a feud with Jacob Fatu on WWE SmackDown.

Kevin Nash was less than pleased to see his recent royalties coming in and touched on how much of a shift he’s seen in that regard since Endeavor bought WWE in 2023.

On his podcast Kliq This, Nash was speaking to his co-host Sean Oliver about a conversation that the former previously had with his WWE Hall of Fame peer Sean Waltman also known as X-Pac. Nash mentioned that he was chatting with Waltman for one of their weekly calls and the latter laughed on the phone mentioning that obviously ‘Big Daddy Cool’ had received his recent round of royalties.

In responding to Waltman and then touching on how he had seen the signs of a shift in the wake of TKO’s takeover of everything, Nash said:

“I said, ‘Holy f**k.†I said, ‘The last one was good… this one was rotten.†I mean, it was half… When I was making huge money in my royalties, it was broken down. It would say ‘nWo t-shirtsâ€, ‘nWo womenâ€s t-shirtsâ€. Now it says ‘nWo intellectual property†and thereâ€s just a number.”

“It got weird when they sold. It started when they sold, all of a sudden… the weirdness starts.”

Kevin Nash continues to expound upon his thoughts on recent TKO royalties

Kevin Nash is not the only one noticing a change of the times with the major paradigm shift in WWE since merging with UFC under the TKO umbrella. It is a multi-pronged situation with many consumers also noticing seemingly ever growing price points with being a WWE fan. This comes across both in terms of wanting to attend live events but also for those watching the product at home.

To revisit the Nash point, the former WWE and WCW champion said he could ultimately speak only to his situation but stated that the recent shift in royalty amounts is to the scale of several millions of dollars. Nash also pontificated on what the difference in that sense would be for figures like The Rock or Steve Austin who, per Nash, command greater percentages of their merchandising royalties and the like.

Kevin Nash did mention in a cursory way that he brielfy had the idea of involving forensic accountaunts for the purposes of a lawsuit. But after his co-host Oliver mentioned Nash was a TKO shareholder, the former NWO member mentioned that while his long time friend Paul Levesque was in charge that Nash would simply roll along with whatever is happening with TKO considering his connection to Triple H.

Kevin Nash says WWE royalty payments “got weird” after the company’s merger with UFC to create TKO Group Holdings.

On an episode of his Kliq This podcast, Nash revealed that he recently received a royalty payment from WWE that was for much lower than he expected. He said he called Sean Waltman to discuss.

Nash said:

“(Sean Waltman and I) both got our royalty checks and I called him and heâ€s laughing on the other side of the phone and says, ‘Obviously, you got your royalty check.’ I said, ‘Holy f–k. The last one was good, this one was rotten.’ I mean, it was half.

He continued to say that after TKO took over the process, the royalty payments were not as detailed as they had been previously.

“When I was making huge money in my royalties, it was broken down. It would say NWO t-shirts, NWO womenâ€s t-shirts. Now it says NWO intellectual property and thereâ€s just a number.”

“It got weird when they sold. It started when they sold,” he continued.

“I can only go by what I was making, I can only imagine what like Hulk, Austin, Rock. If you take all those guys – I think Steve was at 50 percent of his merch. Some of mine was at 25 – When you take that and you cut that in half and put that back on the books, thatâ€s several million dollars.”

However, Nash concluded that so long as his longtime friend Triple H is in charge of WWE, he will just roll with whatever happens.

“My thing with it is, I would never do anything to put any bad light on Paul,” he continued. “As long as Paulâ€s in charge, I just roll with everything.”

Over the past few years, Jey Uso has become a major part of the men’s singles division in WWE, with both World Heavyweight and Intercontinental title runs under his belt. Things have quieted down for Uso somewhat, but speaking on “Kliq This,” Kevin Nash shared his belief that there are two potential directions Uso’s story could be headed in, and both seem significant.

“I think Jey’s still gonna turn,” Nash said. “Or do they go and get the tag belts? The brothers. And have a f***ing year and a half run with the belts.”

Nash’s podcast was recorded ahead of Monday’s “WWE Raw,” which featured Jimmy and Jey Uso getting their win back over Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed of The Vision. That could lend credence to the theory that they’re headed for a tag title reign. On “Raw,” the World Tag Team Championship is currently held by Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, though they haven’t defended the belts since July.

A heel turn for Jey is another very real possibility, however. The former world champion has been wearing his frustration on his sleeve in recent weeks, and though Roman Reigns making his return on Monday’s “Raw” seemed to help alleviate some of those emotions, there are still many different ways this story could play out.

It seems likely that the Usos are headed for a shot at the World Tag Team Championship, but the tension between the brothers could prevent them from re-capturing the title. Jimmy and Jey last held tag gold together in 2023; they then went their separate ways before reuniting this year.

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash is recovering after a recent medical procedure to correct an irregular heartbeat. The wrestling legend took to social media to give his fans an update, and he did so with his signature brand of humor.

The post, while lighthearted, came after Nash had revealed some serious and surprising details about his heart health, including the discovery that he may have unknowingly suffered a heart attack two decades ago.

His health has been a topic of concern for fans, given his family’s history with heart disease, making this positive update a welcome piece of news. Nash shared the news of his successful procedure on his social media account.

“Procedure went fantastic. Penis reduction was a success. Actually the strain of no longer pushing blood in the entire hog brought my heart rhythm back to normal. Thanks to everyone concerned about my well being.â€

Jokes aside, the procedure was a serious one designed to “zap” his heart and put it back into a normal rhythm. In the lead-up to the procedure, Nash had revealed on his podcast that his cardiologist discovered scar tissue on his heart. The doctor suggested this was likely the result of a heart attack that could have occurred twenty years ago when Nash had a stent inserted.

Nash’s father passed away from a heart attack at the age of 36. An autopsy later revealed that his father had suffered five heart attacks in total, with the fifth one being fatal.

Kevin Nash is out of his latest heart procedure and already back to cracking jokes.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently revealed he was dealing with an irregular heartbeat and was scheduled for a cardioversion procedure to get things under control. Now, in an update shared to social media, Nash confirmed everything went well—complete with his trademark humor. Nash wrote on X that his heart rhythm was corrected, but not before dropping this gem:

“Procedure went fantastic. Penis reduction was a success. Actually the strain of no longer pushing blood in the entire hog brought my heart rhythm back to normal. Thanks to everyone concerned about my well being.â€

Behind the humor, Nashâ€s recent medical update is no joke. He shared on his Kliq This podcast that doctors found 3% scar tissue on the back of his heart and suggested he may have already suffered a heart attack years ago without realizing it. That revelation came as a shock, especially given his family history. Nash explained what his cardiologist told him:

“My cardiologist said that I could have had a stent put in my heart like 20 years ago. He said I might have had a minor heart attack without even realizing it. Iâ€m not kidding you. And he explained that you can measure it as a percentage—he said the scar tissue on my heart was about 3%. He said that could be genetic, or it could have happened during the procedure of putting the stent in. But itâ€s in the back of my heart, which, if youâ€re going to have something wrong with your heart, you donâ€t want anything around your arteries. So it was in the back of my heart.â€

Despite the seriousness of the condition, Nash reassured fans that his current health was otherwise strong, aside from the arrhythmia. Doctors told him theyâ€d use a controlled electric shock to restore his heartbeat:

“But like he said, everything else about me is fine. The only problem I have right now is an irregular heartbeat. He said theyâ€re going to zap me and put me back in rhythm. So thatâ€s my next thing.â€

The situation hit closer to home for Nash due to his fatherâ€s sudden death at just 36 years old. That tragic event revealed a deeper issue during the autopsy.

“When they gave my dad his autopsy, they found heâ€d had like four before the fifth one killed him. So he just kept working through them. Iâ€m thinking, wow, I hope I donâ€t have that gene in me.â€

With the successful procedure now behind him, Nash is staying positive, poking fun at himself, and thanking fans for their support.

Kevin Nashâ€s health scare is a serious reminder that even the strongest legends in wrestling arenâ€t invincible—but itâ€s good to see Big Daddy Cool still standing tall.

Do you think WWE should do more to raise awareness about heart health for its legends and current talent? Let us know in the comments.
