WWE faction The Vision underwent a massive shift last week, with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed seemingly ejecting Seth Rollins from the group via a ferocious beatdown at the end of “WWE Raw.” As a result, it seems likely that both men will take a step up in the company’s hierarchy. Speaking on “Busted Open Radio” in the aftermath of “Raw,” Bully Ray shared his take on whether or not Breakker is ready to become a regular main eventer.
“I never like to see talents jump too far ahead of things, but Bron is one of those very unique talents, so I’m gonna compare him to a couple of guys,” Bully said. “Brock Lesnar. Randy Orton. Kurt Angle.”
Those three performers have more than a few things in common, and Bully believes WWE’s leadership and creative team had a clear idea of what they wanted to do with those wrestlers. He believes the same could be true for Breakker. While there’s a chance that he could stumble and lose the audience, Bully doesn’t think it’s likely in this case, as Breakker has a ton of raw talent.
That being said, Bully showed some hesitation when it comes to the idea of making Breakker one of the company’s top stars right now. One thing that Breakker needs to work on, in Bully’s estimation, is adding some depth to his character.
Though the discussion focused on Breakker, and he was the one who initiated the coup, it’s worth noting that Reed just picked up a victory over Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel days before. Because of that, it seems WWE has significant plans for both Reed and Breakker, and Bully noted that Reed’s Tsunami finisher was used in tandem with Breakker’s spear to put Rollins out of commission.Â

The shocking return of CM Punk to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 was a monumental moment for the company, but it also reportedly caused significant creative plans to be scrapped. According to Wolfgang of the NXT faction Gallus, his group was scheduled to be called up to the main roster and was slated for a storyline with Drew McIntyre, but those plans were abruptly canceled when CM Punk returned.
The revelation sheds new light on the ripple effect that a major signing can have on the rest of the roster, as creative directions are forced to shift to accommodate the new top star. Speaking on the “Mic Check with Mr. Anderson” podcast, Wolfgang revealed that Gallus was on the verge of their main roster debut, only to have the plans repeatedly delayed.
“We were ready for main roster, even when we got to NXT, it was good to get there and get involved but we were ready to go at the drop of a hat to main roster. And I know for a fact that we were scheduled to be there. We were like three weeks out, and then three weeks came and they said ‘itâ€s actually like three months†and the phrase they used was the ‘can keeps getting kicked down the roadâ€.â€
Wolfgang also provided evidence for his claim, noting that Gallus was the only NXT act featured in the official event programs for major main roster shows, and they were positioned next to Drew McIntyre.
“If you go look at the 2023 Survivor Series program for the main roster, or the 2024 Royal Rumble, thereâ€s no one else in NXT in that, except for Gallus. And weâ€re right next to a full page spread of Drew McIntyre.â€
He then stated that he believes CM Punk’s return at that same Survivor Series event was the direct cause for the plans being changed, as the company’s creative focus immediately shifted.
“So I think there was a plan for us to join Drew McIntyre at some point, and then CM Punk showed up and the can kept getting kicked down the road and they didnâ€t need us anymore. And I think they got stuck. ‘This is what weâ€re doing, weâ€ll get to it at some pointâ€. They never even considered how else weâ€re going to do it.â€
CM Punk is the featured star on the official poster for WWE’s next Saturday Night’s Main Event episode.
The Punk-themed poster was unveiled by Paul “Triple H” Levesque on social media today. No matches for the November 1 show have been announced yet — and it looks like Punk’s original plans may be changing due to an injury suffered by Seth Rollins.

On Raw this Monday, Punk became the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Jey Uso and LA Knight in a triple threat match. WWE’s original intention was for Rollins to defend the title against Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1. But Rollins suffered a shoulder injury at Crown Jewel: Perth and is now expected to undergo surgery.
WWE has not confirmed if Rollins will be vacating the title or announced how a new champion will be crowned if he does. As the number one contender, Punk would figure to factor into any plans to decide a new champion.
The ending of Raw this week saw The Vision betray Rollins and beat him down. Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and a shocked Paul Heyman posed as the show ended while Breakker held Rollins’ title belt.
The November 1 episode of SNME is being held at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. It has a start time of 7 p.m. Eastern streaming live on Peacock.

WWE had big plans for Seth Rollins and CM Punk to collide at Saturday Nightâ€s Main Event in Salt Lake City, but that match may now be off the table. Rollins†shoulder injury is casting serious doubt on what was supposed to be one of RAWâ€s marquee title defenses.
On the October 14 edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer broke down the situation, revealing that WWEâ€s original creative direction has been thrown into question following Rollins†condition Alvarez explained that WWE originally positioned the triple threat between CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso to determine Rollins†next challenger.
“Theyâ€d announced a triple threat match for the main event with LA Knight and CM Punk and Jey Uso. And they all basically took turns doing promos, talking about that.â€
Meltzer added that the original plan was clear: the winner would challenge Rollins at the upcoming Saturday Nightâ€s Main Event.
“Winner, in theory, against Seth Rollins.â€
But Alvarez immediately noted the uncertainty WWE now faces.
“Yeah, we gotta figure that out.â€
Meltzer explained that the match with Punk was indeed scheduled, but Rollins†health has changed everything.
“Originally the idea was the winner of this match would challenge at Saturday Nightâ€s Main Event in Salt Lake City. But, yeah, we gotta figure out whatâ€s going on from there. I mean, they couldnâ€t really—â€
Alvarez followed up by saying WWE could hold off Punkâ€s title shot if Rollins isnâ€t cleared right away.
“I mean, hereâ€s the deal. If itâ€s not a serious injury, you can not have him have a match on the Saturday Nightâ€s Main Event. The next show is War Games. He doesnâ€t need to have a match on that show. So you can really hold this off probably until at least mid-December before itâ€s really like, why is this guy not defending the title?â€
But Meltzer closed the discussion by making it clear that WWEâ€s drastic angle on RAW, where Bron Breakker turned on Rollins, suggests the company is already preparing for the worst.
“I think that based on what they did tonight, that they think itâ€s pretty serious. Because if they didnâ€t think it was serious, they wouldnâ€t have done what they did.â€
Seth Rollins†status is now the biggest question mark hanging over WWE, and with CM Punk waiting in the wings, the companyâ€s next move could reshape the entire main event scene. If Rollins canâ€t go, fans could see a major shake-up nobody expected — but if he fights through the pain, it sets up one of the most dramatic title defenses in years. The only thing certain right now is that WWE is walking a creative tightrope.
Do you think WWE should delay CM Punkâ€s title shot until Seth Rollins is healthy, or should they crown a new champion? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.

CM Punk appeared to earn a rematch at Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship after defeating Jey Uso and LA Knight in a triple threat for the number one contendership in the main event of “WWE Raw.” Only to then be attacked by The Vision before their eventual and shocking implosion to close the show.Â
Punk, having defeated Gunther for the title at SummerSlam, lost it within moments to Rollins as he cashed in his Money in the Bank. Since then, he has been clamoring for another opportunity at his arch-rival, getting one as part of a four-way also involving Knight and Uso at Clash in Paris, and then scoring a victory over Rollins and Becky Lynch alongside his wife AJ Lee at Wrestlepalooza.Â
Meanwhile, Jey Uso, who had dropped the title to Gunther in the first place, had also been searching for his rematch for the title, and Knight continued his own pursuit of an elusive first World title win.Â
Ultimately, Punk pinned Uso to make the night his own. But he was then set upon by Rollins, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker for what appeared to be the closing angle; the champion was standing tall over the number one contender, the end-of-show credits were on the screen, and Breakker caught everyone off guard as he speared Rollins in the middle of the ring.Â
Both Reed and Paul Heyman looked on, sharing the shock, but after some words from Breakker, Reed joined in and delivered a Tsunami to seal the mutiny. Heyman finally raised both men’s hands in the ring, while in his other hand Breakker held aloft the World Heavyweight Championship.

While debuting on the main roster is a big achievement in itself, impressing WWE higher-ups is another monumental task in itself, something that a star has managed to do in a relatively short time with the company.
Ever since she debuted in NXT in 2024, Zaria has captivated audiences with her unique look and powerhouse style of fighting. Along with these factors, she has also become a fan favorite thanks to her tag team with the NXT Women’s North American and WWE Women’s Speed Champion, Sol Ruca, with whom she made her main roster debut recently.
Zaria’s Main Roster Debut Got The Attention Of WWE Higher-Ups.
The Australian powerhouse made her main roster debut on the October 3 episode of SmackDown, where she and Sol Ruca managed to pick up a victory against Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre, and according to a report by SEScoops, this performance made company officials take notice of her tremendous potential.
The report added that the higher-ups in the Stamford-based promotion were already impressed with her work in NXT and were positioning her team with Sol Ruca as future WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. The report also mentioned how the promotion has been strongly pushing her since her debut in NXT, where she was presented as a dominant force in the women’s division of the developmental brand.
The report indicates that insiders within the company told them that they feel Zaria is “a champion in the making.” Currently, the Adelaide native has not yet won any titles in the company, but given these reports and how frequently she has been featured on TV, the day might not be too far away.
Before joining World Wrestling Entertainment, Zaria was an active part of the Australian independent wrestling scene, where she performed under the name of Delta. She had also challenged Jordynne Grace for the TNA Knockouts Championship at an Oceania Pro Wrestling event just a few months before she became a part of the NXT roster.
While there is no word on what’s next for her or Sol Ruca, fans can be assured that they will see more of the pair on the main roster, considering the impression they made on their debut.
