After weeks of legal chaos, it looks like the battle over Video Killed The Radio Star may finally be cooling down.

According to a new court filing on Tuesday, Bubba the Love Sponge (Todd Clem) and Woltz Films have reached a tentative settlement with Nick Bollea and Terry McCoy, who sued over the controversial Hulk Hogan sex tape documentary.

The update came via a notice of resolution filed in U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, confirming that all parties have agreed to a term sheet and are working toward a final written agreement.

“Bubba the Love Sponge Clem (‘Clemâ€) and Woltz Films, LLC (‘Woltzâ€) (collectively, ‘Defendantsâ€) hereby provide notice that the Parties have agreed upon a term sheet with settlement terms in an effort to resolve the dispute, globally, and are continuing with such discussions.â€

Though a final deal hasnâ€t been signed, both sides appear to be moving toward a peaceful resolution. The defendants also confirmed they wouldnâ€t oppose the plaintiffs†earlier request to extend their deadline to file an amended lawsuit while talks continue.

“Upon the Parties†execution of a written Settlement Agreement fully memorializing a resolution, the appropriate party shall file documents to dismiss this case.â€

The lawsuit was originally filed last month by Nick Bollea and Terry McCoy on behalf of the estate of Terry Bollea (Hulk Hogan), and it triggered a temporary restraining order that briefly halted the filmâ€s release. Despite the TRO, a lightly edited version of the film was screened in Tampa and later released on digital platforms.

The plaintiffs accused Clem of violating a 2012 settlement agreement, infringing on Hoganâ€s trademarks, and engaging in unauthorized use of copyrighted material. Clem fired back by calling the TRO “legally and constitutionally unsustainable†and insisting he had no control over the filmâ€s production or distribution.

“Clem has no creative control, no ownership interest, no distribution rights, and no exhibition rights for the documentary,†his legal team wrote at the time.

While the TRO was officially dissolved two weeks ago, the case itself was never dismissed—until now, it seems. If all goes according to plan, the paperwork to close this case could be filed shortly after a final agreement is signed.

So, is this the final chapter in the long, ugly fallout from the Hulk Hogan sex tape scandal? Bubba the Love Sponge is playing it cool for now—but with a settlement nearly locked in, the curtain may finally be closing on this legal drama.

Do you think the film should have been blocked, or was Bubba right to push forward under fair use? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.

Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons was “pissed off” by having to settle for a 40-40 tie with the Dallas Cowboys and “very disappointed” by his defense’s performance.

Green Bay allowed 436 total yards, but it stayed into the game thanks to quarterback Jordan Love throwing for 337 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Josh Jacobs also had 86 yards and two scores on 22 carries.

“I even told Jordan to the side, you know, ‘Thank you for having our back today,'” Parsons told reporters. “You know, that’s why it’s so pivotal to, you know you play complementary football. Because today, Jordan played like the player he was, and we let him down. We didn’t live up to the level of expectation on defense.”

The four-time Pro Bowler also acknowledged how well former Cowboys teammate Dak Prescott fared on the opposite side.

“You look how precise No. 4 looked tonight, just getting through his throws, getting to his receivers, the timing,” Parsons said about Prescott. “I think he played a better game than we played defense. So, you know, shout-out to Dak, and I told him, I said, ‘You go watch that film. You lucky if you wasn’t on your s–t, it would’ve been a long day, it would’ve been a real long day for you,’ but he played a hell of a game, and I give him kudos for that.”

The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers ended in a 40-40 tie in an overtime thriller at AT&T Stadium on Sunday, as both quarterbacks turned in standout performances.

Dallas moved to 2-1-1 on the season behind strong outings from Dak Prescott and George Pickens, while Green Bay, despite a near-overtime blunder, improved to 1-2-1 behind Jordan Love and Micah Parsons.

Prescott completed 31-of-40 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns, including two to Pickens, who finished with 134 receiving yards. Jake Ferguson added a score, and Javonte Williams contributed 85 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Jordan Love went 31-of-43 for 337 yards and three touchdowns—all to Romeo Doubs. Josh Jacobs added 86 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

Micah Parsons, facing his former team, finished with three tackles and one sack on Prescott.

In overtime, Love nearly spoiled his day by mismanaging the clock, leaving just one second for the Packers to attempt a game-tying field goal.

Green Bay jumped out to a 7-0 lead after scoring on its opening possession, then reached the end zone again to start the second quarter. However, the extra point was blocked and returned by Dallas for two points.

The Cowboys got on the board with under a minute left in the half, then capitalized on a Green Bay fumble to punch in another touchdown and take a 16-13 lead into halftime.

Both teams closed the third quarter with clock-draining touchdown drives, but Dallas maintained a three-point edge heading into the final quarter.

The scoring continued in the fourth as both teams found the end zone on their opening possessions. Green Bay remained within three, trailing Dallas with 4:50 left in regulation and the ball in their hands.

Green Bay connected with Doubs for his third touchdown of the game to take a 34-30 lead with 1:45 remaining, setting the stage for a high-pressure two-minute drill for Dallas at AT&T Stadium.

In classic Cowboys fashion, Pickens hauled in a touchdown pass to cap a 62-second, four-play drive, helping Dallas retake the lead by three.

Green Bay’s Brian McManus nailed a 53-yard field goal to send it into overtime, tied at 37.Â

After an impressive downfield drive, Dallas settled for a field goal to take a three-point lead. Green Bay’s McManus responded with a successful kick as time expired to seal the 40-40 tie.

The Cowboys will hit the road to face the New York Jets next Sunday and the Packers will head into a bye week before facing the Cincinnati Bengals on Oct. 12.

Six-time TNA Knockouts Champion Angelina Love helped establish the women’s (or Knockouts) division within TNA when she joined the promotion back in 2007. She quickly joined up with Velvet Sky to form The Beautiful People, a defining villainous tag team of the time. Recently, it was announced by TNA President Carlos Silva that Love and Sky will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame, alongside fellow Knockout Mickie James.

Love spent almost 10 years in TNA across various stints with the promotion. In addition to winning the top women’s gold six times, she also captured the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships with Winter. She spent the majority of her career with TNA during a time where women’s wrestling wasn’t taken nearly as seriously in the top company in the world. The Beautiful People and its various iterations, which included Madison Rayne, Lacey Von Erich, and even Billy Gunn as Cute Kip at one point, is often considered one of the most iconic stables in TNA history.Â

Love left the company full-time, for the final time, in 2017, though she’d make appearances in later years, including at Impact 1000 in September 2023 alongside Sky to confront Gail Kim and the Knockouts Division. The soon-to-be Hall of Famer had quite the career in TNA/Impact Wrestling, but she’s still going strong in the professional wrestling world and beyond.

What’s She’s Doing Today

Love has stayed active within the professional wrestling world since leaving TNA fulltime, and even since her most-recent TNA appearance. She is currently signed with the NWA. Since her 10-woman tag team match loss at Impact 1000, she has worked with various independent promotions, including All Star Wrestling, Fortitude Wrestling Entertainment, MCW Pro Wrestling, and many more, including a Ring of Honor appearance in a losing effort for the ROH Women’s World Title against Athena. According to Cagematch, her most recent match took place in August for FWE in a match for the FWE Women’s Championship against Savannah Evans.

Love is also a mother to her son David, who was born during one of her breaks from TNA, and is now 9 years old. She married Merton Woolard, a fellow wrestler, in a beach ceremony in October 2023, after she announced their engagement that March. Love and her first husband, TNA wrestler Davey Richards, divorced in 2017. She remains active on her various social media accounts, including Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), where she shares photos of her family and what she’s up to in the professional wrestling world now, in addition to throwback photos.

The Beautiful People will be inducted to the TNA Hall of Fame at the company’s Bound for Glory event at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts on October 12.

Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Cam Newton has offered more remarks on Miami Dolphins signal-caller Tua Tagovailoa, even citing the infamous Love Island reality dating show during a segment on Friday’s edition of First Take.

“When I see the situation that has taken place in Miami, it’s more Love Island drama than football,” Newton said in part (2:57 mark). “And in large part, I wouldn’t say it’s all on tour, but it is a main ingredient.”

During the Sept. 19 edition of First Take, Newton had some things to say about Tagovailoa, who has endured a tough start to the season at the helm of the 0-3 Dolphins (h/t Josue Pavon of Clutch Points).

Tua Tagovailoa is making more than Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Baker Mayfield, Matthew Stafford, Jayden Daniels. Am I pocket watching? No, no, no. I’m putting things into perspective here,” Newton said. “What did Biggie say, ‘More money, more problems.’ In this case, it should be more money, more expectations. When I see Tua Tagovailoa over this year alone, I’ve heard him more than I ever have.

“That’s not to say you can’t talk. I like quiet Tua, Alabama Tua, Chip on the shoulder Tua, not somebody going to come in and watch film.”

Newton expanded upon his points: “What you’re being paid, what you’re being asked to do, what you have the capability of. From one quarterback to another, I look at a situation, it’s like bro, come on, dog. Especially when you got a Ferrari and Lamborghini, and other amenities that some quarterbacks wish they had.”

Tagovailoa was asked about Newton’s remarks in a Thursday press conference.

“Well, anyone can play quarterback in this league, then. I mean, I want to see anybody on the streets come and play quarterback. I mean, Cam’s doing his thing, for sure, but you know, I think it’s easier to be able to hold a clicker and talk about it that way, or talk about what someone else is doing wrong when you’re not going out and having to do the same as them, right? So I think it’s easy to do that. I think anybody can do that. I don’t think anybody can play quarterback.”

Now Newton has offered his own response on those comments.

When it comes to Bethpage Black, one former U.S. Ryder Cup player and captain isn’t holding any punches.

During a recent appearance on Trey Wingo’s “Straight Facts Homie!†podcast, Azinger lobbed criticism at the famed Long Island muni, which will host its first Ryder Cup after previously hosting several majors. Azinger not only shared his dislike for the Black Course, but he also claimed that the current U.S. players “don’t love†and “don’t know†the layout.

“I really don’t like Bethpage Black,†said Azinger, the 2008 U.S. captain who competed on four other teams. “There’s a lot of awkward angles, downhill tee shots to fairways that angle away, uphill second shots where you can’t see the landing area. It’s just hard, and you cannot fluke your way around there.â€

Aside from Cameron Young, who grew up in Scarsdale, New York, and won a New York State Open at Bethpage, the Americans own, at best, limited experience around the Black Course, which hosted the 2019 PGA Championship. That, Azinger says, isn’t ideal, and he argues that it negates much of the home-course advantage, even if recent American venues, like Whistling Straits and Hazeltine, have been similarly foreign to players and every one of the 12 European players this year competes mostly on the PGA Tour.

“We don’t know the course,†Azinger said. “I think one of the biggest mistakes that the American Ryder Cup team always seems to make, or the PGA of America, is they go to courses that we’re not familiar with.â€

For the record, each of the last six U.S. Ryder Cup venues, including Bethpage, hosted one major between six and eight years prior. And when it comes to that 2019 PGA, this U.S. team boasts eight players who teed it up then, compared to seven for their European counterparts.

Though Young has professed his love for Bethpage, Azinger added that Young’s teammates don’t share that fondness: “I feel like Keegan’s going to have to get these guys on a mission and on a mission quickly and single-minded to figure out how to fall in love with Bethpage Black. I guarantee you they don’t love it either. Me and you don’t love it. They don’t love it. Europe doesn’t care what the course is. Our guys might.â€

Azinger broached several topics, including his belief that the Long Island crowd could turn quickly on the home team.

“I feel if the U.S. gets off to a bad start, even the crowd can be volatile there,†Azinger said. “That’s why I told Keegan right out of the gate, ‘Buddy, you gotta win the crowd.’â€

Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey walked away from MMA nearly a decade ago, but it sounds like she’s rediscovering her passion for the sport.

Rousey posted a video on Instagram showcasing her progress since returning to MMA training after giving birth to her daughter in January, and she wrote in the caption that she’s fallen back in love with the grind.

“From 8 weeks after having a baby and 8 years of stepping away from MMA to 8 months postpartum and finding my love for it again,” Rousey wrote in the caption.

The 38-year-old admitted that she was self-conscious about her diminished skills since stepping away from MMA following her loss to Amanda Nunes in 2016 and experiencing her current postpartum issues. However, she said her joy for the sport has returned over the past few months.

“The first clip is my first session working with @aj_mma I was super self conscious, embarrassed of how much I regressed, and honestly trying my very best not to pee my pants throwing punches so soon after having baby PÄ’Å«,” Rousey stated. “Second clip was yesterday, I’ve never laughed or smiled so much on the mat as I do these days. The last 6 months have been an absolute blast, feels like I have so much left to grow, and without the weight of the world on my shoulders nothing is holding me back.”

Rousey’s revelation comes amid the UFC’s announced plans for an event at the White House in 2026. The company recently released the first renderings to show what the event would look like.

Rousey even caught the attention of former rival Cris Cyborg, who expressed interest in finally settling their differences in a fight:

It remains to be seen if Rousey’s return to training will lead to an official fight, but the UFC undoubtedly would move mountains to get her back into the Octagon if she’s interested. The White House card would be the biggest spectacle for her potential return.

If there’s one thing wrestling fans love more than watching the action in person or on their television screens in real time, it’s being able to control the storylines and matches themselves with a video game controller in hand. WWE games have been extremely popular through the years, from the latest “2K” games, to general manager mode being added with “SmackDown! vs. Raw 2006,” to the release of “WWF No Mercy” on the Nintendo 64 in 2000. Another one of the most popular titles over the years is “WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth,” which was released in 2002.

The jump in quality of graphics between “No Mercy” to “Shut Your Mouth” was incredible for games at the times, and fans were stunned when they made the move from their N64s to the PlayStation 2 to play the latest WWE game. Despite its age, and the many, many games that have come out since 2002, fans still talk about their fond “Shut Your Mouth” memories on social media.

“Genuinely feel bad for kids who didn’t grow up playing these gems on the PS2,” one user wrote on reddit. One commenter said they missed summers playing the game with their family.

“Seriously, the 2K games can’t compare,” another redditor quipped. Another user said they loved the story mode of the game and wished WWE and 2K would focus more on their linear story mode.

Another post dedicated to the game recalled “Shut Your Mouth’s” season mode, or career mode where you follow a star through a two-year contract, and the gamer said they forgot how fun the draft part of the game is. The draft lineup they shared showed stars like Booker T, Test, Randy Orton, Rhyno, Eddie Guerrero, and many more.

“I think we’ve gone backwards in a lot of ways,” a commenter lamented.
