The Dallas Cowboys†latest locker room celebration has LA Knight written all over it.

Following their victory against the Washington Commanders last Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys celebrated in their locker room, with coach Brian Schottenheimer giving a shout-out to all the players who contributed to the win.

As Schottenheimer named each significant stat out loud, the players responded by yelling “Yeah†each time, seemingly inspired by WWE Superstar LA Knightâ€s catchphrase.

The celebration caught LA Knightâ€s attention, and the former United States Champion reposted the video on his X/Twitter.

“Looks like @dallascowboys & @CoachSchotty got the isness and that undeniable kavorka…YEAH!â€

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently addressed why LA Knight hasnâ€t reached the top in WWE yet.

Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash stated that while Knight is very athletic, his performances were not looking sharp, and suggested that the former United States Champion is going through a stalled push.

“Itâ€s not like we havenâ€t watched LA Knight wrestle a lot in the last couple of weeks. And itâ€s just like — heâ€s an athletic fker, Iâ€ll give him credit. I thought the fking, the one with Uso, I thought that Jey looked like he lost a ton of weight. Like, he was in much better shape.â€

“I thought that LA Knight wasnâ€t as sharp, body-wise, abs, everything else. Which Iâ€m wondering if the anti-push and the kind of dead-end run heâ€s having right now is making it very difficult to not f**king eat as clean. Because thatâ€s — all that s**t that gets in your mind because man, itâ€s a work. It ainâ€t like you can just f**king go out there [and try harder].† [H/T: 411mania]

Rory McIlroy didn’t just keep the headcover on his driver on Thursday at Delhi Golf Club, he left the big stick out of the bag altogether.

“Dog was out of the bag, probably asleep in the locker,†McIlroy said after opening the DP World India Championship in 3-under 69.

“I was sort of thinking about it last night before I went to bed,†said McIlroy, who carried just one wood, a 5-wood. “Well, sometimes if you’re really conservative off a par-5 today, you might have like a 5-wood into the green, but I’m never going to hit driver, so I just thought I’ve got to 2-iron, 3-iron, 4-iron all the way through, and then I’ve got a 5-wood just in case I need to hit it for an approach shot on a par-5. But I just don’t see any hole out there that I hit to hit it more than say 260, 270 off the tee.â€

The conservative decision paid off, at least in terms of accuracy off the tee. McIlroy hit 78.6 percent of his fairways, ranking ninth in the field. He averaged 274.5 yards off the tee, still 38th best. He only played the par-5s in 1 under, however, bogeying the par-5 eighth to offset one of the two other par-5 birdies he carded on the day.

“I thought some of the hole locations early on were really tricky,†McIlroy said. “You play a practice round or a pro-am, the pins are all in the middle of the green, and then you get to tournament day, and they start to tuck them away a little bit, and of course definitely played a little tougher than I expected it to today.â€

McIlroy’s opening round left him five shots back of pal Shane Lowry and in a share of 17th. He expected a similar gameplan on Friday.

“You just have to get the ball in the fairway,†McIlroy said. “The rough is unpredictable. You get a lot of fliers like I did the last two there. Yeah, maybe being a little bit less aggressive with approach shots and getting it on the right side of the pin. The greens are so grainy that uphill putts are very slow, but then if you get it above the hole, the downhill putts with the downgrain get very, very quick, so leaving yourself below the hole is pretty important, as well.â€

MVP addressing the Gates of Agony during a promo segment alongside Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin during

AEW/Lee South

During The Hurt Syndicate’s AEW World Tag Team Championship reign, reports emerged that claimed that MVP specifically took issue with “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight, and opposed THS losing the titles to the tag team. However, MVP recently sat down with “TMZ Sports,” where he addressed the aforementioned report as well as claims that the AEW locker room calls Tony Khan ‘the Snowman’ backstage.

“Not us? I don’t know where that came from, I don’t know who put that out there; I don’t,” he exclaimed, shooting down the claims that the locker room has been echoing Ariel Helwani’s shot against Khan in 2023. “That’s not anything that I’ve ever called him, or I haven’t heard that…Then again, you gotta remember you know: these people that run these, you know, what traditionally called ‘dirt sheets?’ It’s all clickbait.”

MVP further claimed that controversy sells, and therefore, reports are always negatively slanted. “It’s just gossip passed off as legitimate journalism, and it’s laughable, because it’s always from ‘a source,'” he claimed, adding that he has never denied saying things he’s actually said. “I think it’s a real b**ch move to go and leak rumors about people you might like or dislike to the dirt sheets; that’s lame.” However, MVP claims he understands why the dirt sheets exist as fans all simply want to peek behind the curtain, but still asserts it’s done more damage to the industry than anything else. “I feel that most of these dirt sheet people are leeches on pro wrestling, because what do they contribute to the business overall? They make a living off of it – like parasites – but what do they contribute to the game?”

‘If there’s some f**kery going on, I don’t know about it!’

When it came to the reports of the heat between him and Jetspeed, MVP not only shut the rumors down but also gave a glowing account of his experience backstage at AEW. “My experience in the AEW locker room? I – you know – there was some erroneous reporting some time ago that I had heat with somebody that I had absolutely no issue with,” the veteran claimed, adding that everybody in the locker room today seems to be friendly with one another. “If there’s some f**kery going on, I don’t know about it! You know, everybody seems to be awesome, I – you know – I don’t have anybody giving me side-eyes.”

MVP then expressed that the younger guys in the locker room seem respectful to him and claimed that he tries to return the favor whenever he gets the chance to. “If somebody doesn’t walk up and shake my hand and speak to me, I’m not mad at them for it,” he added, seemingly referencing the history of veterans being upset with rookies not greeting locker room leaders in the past. “It’s an etiquette faux pas, you know, but a lot of the time – I know that the business is changing – and certain things that were once a standard of how things are, aren’t necessarily that way anymore.”
