WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has seemingly announced she will star Google-sponsored Christmas movie.

Fresh off losing her shot at the Womenâ€s World Championship at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames to Stephanie Vaquer, Fearless Nikki seemingly has her eyes set on Hollywood with what appears to be either a made-for-TV movie or an ad campaign for a new Google product.

Nikki Bella took to social media this afternoon to promote her latest project, The Gift Exchange, promising a trailer later this week, tweeting out:

“Big city personal shopper meets hometown hunk. Hey @Google, what are the odds? Trailer dropping this week. #Google_Partner #sponsored,†Nikki Bella said in a post.

The post also includes the poster for the Christmas movie, which notes Bella will portray the character Holly Hall alongside co-stars Taylor Kinney and Donna Kelce.

Kinney is best known for his role as Kelly Severide in the ongoing television series Chicago Fire on NBC. Kelce, on the other hand, is the mother of NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce and appeared in two Christmas movies in 2024, titled Christmas on Call and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.

Despite her loss to Vaquer at Survivor Series, it doesnâ€t appear that Nikki Bella is departing WWE anytime soon.

The WWE Hall of Famer was interviewed by the companyâ€s social media team after her loss at Survivor Series, and Bella had the following the say regarding her future with the company.

“Of course, you want a comment,†Bella said. “You know what happened out there? I lost. But let me tell you something, this isnâ€t the last of Nikki Bella. You got that? Itâ€s not the last.â€

Lacey Lane is officially All Elite.

Fightful Selectreports that Lane has signed a deal with AEW after impressing company officials during her recent match against Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship. While the bout didnâ€t end in victory, it apparently sealed the deal behind the scenes. Sources confirmed Lane is now part of AEWâ€s growing womenâ€s division.

The former WWE star — known as Kayden Carter during her time there — didnâ€t stop at just one AEW appearance. Sheâ€s already worked Ring of Honor tapings, including a match for the Interim ROH Womenâ€s TV Title against Mina Shirakawa, and continues to build her name on the independent scene.

Laneâ€s arrival in AEW comes after a rocky WWE run that ended with frustration and tears. In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, she described how difficult it was to break through despite holding the Womenâ€s Tag Team Titles with Katana Chance.

“We gave paragraphs and weeks and weeks of ideas. We tried to change ourselves. We tried to change our moves. We tried to do anything possible to give ourselves a better opportunity.â€

Even with strong backstage support, Lane said they never felt like the chosen ones.

“Everyone in the back was so supportive. It was crazy… but if youâ€re just not the picked people, thatâ€s just how it is.â€

Now, Lane is determined to flip the script. Sheâ€s no longer fighting for approval — sheâ€s fighting to build something new in AEW. And judging by how quickly sheâ€s getting in the mix with top names, sheâ€s already off to a strong start.

Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide will officially join the FOX lineup in 2026.

Per a press release, FOX is adding Lucha Libre AAA, a leading Mexican wrestling promotion, to its collection of sports content in 2026 as a part of a new agreement between WWE, AAA, and FOX. Earlier this year, WWE acquired AAA, with several cross-promotional events and matches between the organizations coming in the months following.

Through the new broadcasting deal, AAA main events, including premium live events such as TripleMania, will air on FOX in Mexico, Central America, and South America (excluding Brazil).

“This agreement with AAA represents an important step in our strategy to continue building a diverse and relevant sports offering for the Mexican audience. Lucha libre is an essential part of culture and passion in Mexico; we are very proud to bring its stories and idols to millions of households across the country,†said FOX Mexicoâ€s Executive Director of Programming and Marketing, Luis Maldonado.

“We are very excited to partner with FOX, a brand that shares our vision of innovation and entertainment,†WWE SVP Global Strategy and Creative Operations Patrick Dooley added. “This partnership will elevate AAA to new audiences and take Mexican sports entertainment to another level.â€

AAA content will be accessible across multiple FOX platforms, including the FOX pay TV channel, the SVOD platform FOX One, and the FOX channel on Tubi. Wrestlers such as Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, Psycho Clown, Mr. Iguana, El Hijo Del Vikingo, Lola Vice, La Parka, and El Grande Americano were highlighted in the announcement.

Former Montreal Canadiens forward Devante Smith-Pelly has landed a new gig.

The NHL Network has announced that they have hired Smith-Pelly as a studio analyst. In addition, the NHL Network shared that Smith-Pelly will make his 2025-26 season debut NHL Tonight: First Shift at 4 pm ET on Nov. 3.

Smith-Pelly spent two NHL seasons with the Canadiens from 2014-15 to 2015-16. In 66 games with the Canadiens over that span, the winger recorded seven goals, eight assists, 15 points, and 143 hits.

Smith-Pelly’s time with the Canadiens ended during the 2015-16 season when he was traded to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for Stefan Matteau. Following this, Smith-Pelly then played for the Washington Capitals, where he won the Stanley Cup in 2018.

Smith-Pelly also had stints with Kunlun Red Star of the KHL and the Ontario Reign of the AHL following his time with the Washington Capitals. After this, he played his final professional season in 2021-22 with the Canadiens’ AHL affiliate, the Laval Rocket, where he recorded four goals and eight points in 24 games.

While his career as a player is over, Smith-Pelly will now stay with the game after landing this cool new gig with the NHL Network.

Veteran center DeAndre Jordan agreed to a deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Jordan’s agent, Jeff Schwartz, told ESPN’s Shams Charania his client will sign a one-year, $3.6 million contract to join the Pelicans.

The Pelicans entered the day with $4.2 million under the $187.9 million tax line. They were also $5.9 million under the first apron, so they still have some wiggle room even with Jordan’s deal to operate before facing potential restrictions.

The Pelicans are adding Jordan one day after announcing Jaden Springer had been waived.

Jordan found a comfort zone on the Denver Nuggets after accepting a role well below how he had been utilized to that point. Starting with the 2022-23 campaign, he signed three successive one-year contracts with them. For its part, Denver determined he offered value that didn’t necessarily show up in the box score.

The 36-year-old was once again a bit-part player for the Nuggets in 2024-25. He averaged 3.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 12.3 minutes per contest over 56 appearances.

Jordan rolled back the clock a bit in mid-March while replacing an injured Nikola Jokić in the starting lineup. He had 11 points and 15 rebounds in a 116-111 victory over the Houston Rockets and posted 10 boards, 17 rebounds and seven assists in a 129-119 loss to the Chicago Bulls the following night.

The challenge of building out a roster goes beyond figuring out how the pieces fit on the court. All of the personalities need to mesh in the locker room to withstand the mental grind of an 82-game regular season and then the playoffs.

While Jordan provided some depth behind Jokić at center, his more intangible contributions are why he kept finding a job with the Nuggets.

“He’s always talking, he’s super vocal, encouraging, [and is] always keeping guys in good spirits,” guard Jamal Murray told reporters after the Rockets win in March. “I just think he does a great job of staying involved. As a player, you want to play, you want to play, you want to give back to the team in that way, but he does such a good job of just adapting to his role on the team and being a team guy.”

Sooner or later, that wasn’t going to be enough to justify a roster spot in the Mile High City. Now, Jordan is off to help add some positive vibes to New Orleans.

Head coach Willie Green will likely be relying on Jordan as the Pelicans’ third center behind Yves Missi and rookie Derik Queen. He could take on the role Hunter Dickinson played in the opener against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Dickinson was only on the floor for five minutes in the game, all in the first quarter, but he was minus-12 in that short burst. It was the second-worst mark for any Pelicans player after Saddiq Bey (minus-13), who played 30 minutes.

Tommy Fleetwood held off Japan’s Keita Nakajima to secure a two-shot victory in the DP World India Championship – and celebrated an eighth DP Tour win with son Frankie on the 18th green.

Fleetwood, who had ended his long wait for a first PGA Tour title at the Tour Championship to claim the FedEx Cup in August, produced a superb seven-under final round of 65 to finish at 22-under in Delhi.

Nakajima had been two strokes ahead going into Sunday, but could only manage three birdies as he signed for a 69. He ended two ahead of a three-man group of Ireland’s Shane Lowry, England’s Alex Fitzpatrick and the South African Thriston Lawrence, who also made 65 – which included an eagle on the 14th.

New Zealand’s Daniel Hillier had looked to also be in contention after going into the turn six-under for the day – only for a double-bogey seven on the par-five 14th to scupper his chances, with more dropped shots at the next and then again on 18. The Masters champion, Rory McIlroy, placed in a tie for 26th at 11 under, finishing with a final round of 71, which had two bogeys on the front nine and another at the 14th.

Fleetwood, who rattled off four successive birdies from the seventh, was happy to get another long overdue individual tournament victory under his belt – and make the most of a special family moment.

“I had said for all the good that has happened this year, a couple of things have disappointed me, that my DP World Tour sort of has, so another win feels great,†the Southport golfer said in an interview on the DP Tour website.

“We were at home last week and we were driving the buggy. I think we were playing golf together, and he (Frankie) just said randomly: ‘Do you know what you’ve never done?’ He said: ‘You’ve never won a tournament and I’ve been able to run on to the 18th green’. I was like: ‘I’m writing that down’, so I had that written down all week.

“It was just another opportunity really, there is going to be many more times where I hopefully get the chance to do that. But all day today, I had in my mind could I put myself in a position where I can actually make that moment happen?

“It is just one of those little things, it means a lot to me. It means so much to me. That was really cool, that is what I wanted to do all day.â€

It was long reported that TKO was looking to launch a boxing league with help from the Saudi Public Investment Fund. Well, Paramount and TKO Group Holdings, Inc, announced today a long-term media rights agreement that will make Paramount+ the exclusive home of Zuffa Boxing across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.Â

Zuffa Boxing, the new professional boxing promotion launched by TKO and entertainment giant Sela, is led by a powerhouse team including UFC President and CEO Dana White, Saudi Boxing Federation President HE Turki Alalshikh, Sela CEO Dr. Rakan Alharthy, and WWE President Nick Khan.

Beginning in January 2026, Paramount+ will stream Zuffa Boxing events, starting with 12 live cards in its inaugural year and plans to expand in the future. Select events may also air on CBS and other Paramount platforms, bringing high-profile boxing to a wider audience.

Dana White has long talked about his desire to “fix” boxing by creating a structure that is more like the UFC, where the best fight the best, and there is one undisputed champion per weight class. Many in the boxing community have pushed back, stating that the sport is just fine while criticizing White’s stance on fighter pay and his attempt to amend the Ali Act, which protects boxers from exploitation.Â

White expressed his excitement about the partnership in the Paramount press release.

“I’m excited to bring great boxing events to a global audience. There are millions of boxing fans that will now be able to watch competitive fights with up-and-coming boxers as well as the biggest stars in the sport. Paramount will be the home for UFC and boxing fans to watch the greatest fights in combat sports.”

Further details, including fight schedules and the first event to stream on Paramount+, will be announced in the coming months.

TKO recently hit a new, all-time high following Zuffa Boxing’s promotional debut with the Canelo-Crawford fight.Â
