Killer Kross’ new documentary is out now.

On Monday, the former WWE star released his third documentary, the second after word came out that his contract was not being renewed by WWE. Titled ‘My Life after WWEâ€, Kross opens up about his career after leaving the company in August, featuring matches from Defy and elsewhere on the independent scene as well as interactions with fans and other wrestlers who praised him for his character work. You can watch the documentary in full below.

During one part of the documentary, Kross compares his career in WWE to that of the story of Moby Dick. He uses metaphors and characters in the novel to describe his final negotiations with the company prior to his contract expiring in August. Kross said one of things that kept him from signing was the company not considering his book, which WWE got a cut of, to be important enough in the negotiations.

“When you tell that kid his story doesnâ€t matter and youâ€re taking money from him and youâ€re telling him that the subject is irrelevant to the conversation, thereâ€s no deal to be made, thereâ€s nothing to agree to. So they said they would rescind their offer in 24 hours.â€

Kross said he wanted to work things out, but they went ahead and rescinded the offer regardless.

“Sometimes when somebody makes you an offer and thereâ€s red flags over it, you should pay attention to that,†he said.

He recalled that in 2021 when they wanted to sign him to be part of the main roster, he asked about his “siren,†aka Scarlett. He said WWE told him to sign the contract and theyâ€d get to Scarlett. However, she was not called up and both were released by the end of the year, with WWE at the time saying the layoffs were due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Ahab signed the contract and he went out to sea, they never signed the siren, they kept her sitting at home and they turned Ahab into a f****** a******. So Ahab wasnâ€t going to fall for that again. Because heâ€s f****** read the book.â€

“Money is f****** worthless when itâ€s not attached to principles,†he added. “Ahab thought Iâ€d rather make less money and preserve my principles than to agree that nothing I have done over the last three years means anything and nothing I will do for the next three or five will mean anything either. My story, my life story, is not irrelevant.â€

Since his release in August, Kross has found steady work on the independent scene. He will be making his return to MLW next month.

Karrion Kross cutting a promo on

WWE

Former WWE wrestler Karrion Kross – now going as Killer Kross on the independent circuit again – infamously parted ways with the promotion two months ago, and initially many fans saw his departure as a work. Kross has since sat down on “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” where he and Scarlett Bordeaux spoke on the realities about their releases from WWE, specifically why Kross turned down the deal that they offered him.

“My life story is about a kid in the audience of their shows, growing up wanting to be a part of the show, getting into the show, and writing a book about how he’s in the show and now he’s telling me that’s irrelevant?” Kross recalled while talking about his personal discussions with Triple H. “With a statement like that attached to it, anybody with any sort of like dignity or self-respect is not going to say ‘You know what? That sounds like a really good deal to me!” When asked if he or Scarlett are still in contact with WWE, the couple laughed and added that they only speak to some of their former locker mates.

Scarlett then claimed that she spoke to WWE the day after they were both released.Â

“They were like ‘Oh, I’m sure you know what’s going on with Kevin?’ And I’m like ‘Oh you know, you’re talking about what happened with him, sure, but what’s going on with my contract? You’re only talking about him.’ And they said ‘Uh, well, uh we’re going to let your contract lapse,'” she said, claiming she took it in stride and both her and WWE were open to talking again.

Karrion Kross claims nothing he said to Triple H changed the veteran’s mind on his worth to WWE

The couple also added that WWE officials told them to reach out to Triple H and Nick Khan, and according to Karrion Kross, they were very confused as they were originally told that these decisions came from Triple H.Â

“At one point, man, I was like… You know, I wanted him to be able to explain to me, whether like for instance, it’s the book sales – it’s my life story – is that, you know, like, where’s that on all of that?” he said, claiming that both the book and their merch sales didn’t interest Triple H. “I asked him, like, are our bosses aware of what you’re saying? He’s like ‘Oh yeah, yeah, they’re aware of it!'” he added.Â

Kross placed doubt on whether he was ever close to Triple H, considering the veteran seemed so disinterest in everything he did to build himself up. Scarlett then added that she felt that no matter how much hard work they put into WWE, it doesn’t matter because you’re only a number.Â

“It doesn’t matter how it’s determined, but there’s nothing you can do to improve your situation,” she said. “It’s like getting hired at an office building company where, you know, you’re hoping one day that you’re going to get that raise and, you know, be in a better position but they say ‘No, this is what it’s going to be forever. It doesn’t matter how hard you work.'”

Karrion Kross has reverted to his previous moniker, Killer Kross, after his WWE exit this summer.

Kross has been taking independent bookings lately, with his frame of mind evidently being to play the field. He has openly admitted his interest in making a WWE return. However, the former NXT Champion also did not shy away from discussing the lack of interest higher-ups had in his growing fanbase and the connection with fans he was able to cultivate in 2025.

On X/Twitter, a clip of Killer Kross throwing a female star literally through the ceiling has gone viral. It was during a fight produced by XICW Detroit (Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling).

In the clip, Kross was hit on the back by the female star with a steel chair. He no-sold the move, before knocking down the chair with his head, and lifting the woman in the air with her head going through the ceiling.

Killer Kross’ wife, Scarlett Bordeaux, also reacted to the clip and stayed in character to note that their antagonists deserved what was coming to them.

If you watch the entire match, itâ€s pretty clear she and her whole crew deserved to be launched through that ceiling,” Bordeaux wrote.

The Harbinger of Doom had revealed after parting ways with WWE that he was offered a contract before his exit, but it was not satisfactory. In the end, he left the door open for a future return.

Killer Kross And Scarlett Bordeaux Clearly Articulate Their Frame Of Mind Regarding WWE Return And A Potential AEW Debut

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet on Insight recently, Killer Kross noted how “bizarre” his whole conversation was with regard to going back.

Scarlett Bordeaux claimed that if the power couple were to make an AEW debut, they were going to fly its flag. She also stated that whichever wrestling promotion they ultimately join, it would be their “home.”

I mean, Iâ€ll speak for myself. You could answer this separately, if you like. I donâ€t know. I donâ€t know what that door looks like, or whatâ€s even on the other side of it. Iâ€m still completely perturbed by the conversation that we had, it was so bizarre and strange and shocking,” Karrion Kross said.

Scarlett Bordeaux added, “If we ever go to AEW, weâ€re going to be flying the AEW flag. That is going to be our home forever. Whatever our next company is, thatâ€s it.”

Heading into the summer of 2025, Karrion Kross had a noteworthy feud with Sami Zayn, which ended up getting booked on WWE’s premium live events twice. Following their SummerSlam encounter, Kross was released out of nowhere.

For the last two months, Karrion Kross (also known as Killer Kross) and Scarlett have enjoyed life as free agents in the professional wrestling space. Is there a potential path for them to return to WWE, though?

While appearing on “Insight With Chris Van Vliet,” Kross and Scarlett addressed whether they considered the door to still be open for them at WWE, where they had spent the previous three years. “I mean, I’ll speak for myself. I don’t know,” Kross said. “I don’t know what that door looks like or what’s even on the other side of it. I’m still completely perturbed by the conversation that we had. It was so bizarre and strange and shocking.”

Just days before his and Scarlett’s WWE contracts expired, Kross received an offer for a new deal. When he then inquired about the analytics WWE used to form the dollar amount attached to that potential new contract, however, WWE refused to do so and subsequently rescinded the offer the next day. According to Kross, WWE never made any overtures to Scarlett.

When asked why WWE might have reached out to Kross so close to the end of his former contract, Scarlett chalked it up to it being “sports business.”

“It’s the kind of stuff I’ve read about that a lot of entertainment industries do to put the pressure on last minute so you don’t have a lot of time to think and you panic,” she said. “If you know your value, and the thing is, we know what it feels like to not make money on the indies. We’ve learned our value. We’ve struggled. It doesn’t scare us, if that makes sense, doesn’t scare us being independent.”

Echoing Scarlett’s sentiments, Kross noted that they would rather earn their own money elsewhere than “collect a handout” with no opportunity to grow as in-ring performers. Currently, the pair are dominating the independent circuit, with notable appearances in GCW, DEFY, and House of Glory.

With the dust finally settled regarding their run, and exit, and WWE, Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux are beginning to go into more detail about their final few months with the promotion. And that includes the now famous post-WrestleMania viral promo Kross cut, which had fans questioning whether he was working or shooting, and arguably the promo that helped stir groundswell for support Kross received over the next few months.

Speaking about the promo on “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” Kross talked about the promo, from the mindset he had going into it, to some interesting interactions he had with WWE personnel regarding the promo just one day later.

“Well, as I said, [it was a] work, but obviously based off of real things,” Kross said. “That’s like the fine line of pro wrestling that makes those connections, right? What resonates with people…So we do that, everybody loved it, we leave. The next day was weird at ‘Raw.’Â

“So…I get a phone call from somebody in talent relations. And he says ‘Creative is…not happy. There’s heat. They’re pissed.’ I was like ‘Well, I’ll apologize about that. Let me go take care of that right now. I have a great relationship with them. They’re right across the hall.’ And he’s like ‘Uhh…’ And I said ‘No, dude, this is my fault. Let me take care of it. No problem.’

Kross Reveals He And Triple H Cleared The Air Over Promo

It turned out there was a problem though, as when Kross went over to discuss the promo with creative, none of them expressed issues with him, and some even admitted they hadn’t even seen the promo. After taking a walk around the arena and interacting with other WWE personnel, Kross found that no one seemed to have any particular problem with his promo, leading to him calling back the person from talent relations to straighten things out.

“I call him back, no answer,” Kross said. “The next day, no answer. I think it was like the third day he finally picks up. He’s like ‘Yeah, I shouldn’t have said it that way. I apologize. It was actually Hunter.’ And I was like ‘Man. So since we’ve spoke, have you talked to Hunter and explained everything to him that I explained to you?’ And he’s like ‘No.’Â

“And I was like ‘So you’re letting our boss just sit there and fume for how many days now? You could’ve just told me this on Monday. He was down the hall. I could go talk to him and just explain all of this. This is like a misunderstanding.’ So I eventually did speak with Hunter and cleared the air with him…He was super cool about it once we spoke to him. He understood where I was coming from, what I was trying to do.”

Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux are making their long-awaited return to Major League Wrestling after a three-year absence. The power couple will appear at the MLW x DON GATO LIVE SPECIAL on November 20, 2025, at the Charleston Music Hall in Charleston.

The announcement came via a cryptic video shown at MLW’s recent Slaughterhouse event, declaring “The Toll Has Come Due.” The ominous message signals that Kross and Bordeaux are bringing their signature intensity back to the promotion.

Kross, known for his ruthless and precise in-ring style, has established himself as one of wrestling’s most dangerous competitors. Scarlett Bordeaux complements his menacing presence with her own blend of seduction and danger, creating one of professional wrestling’s most captivating partnerships.

MLW has promoted their return with the tagline “Together, they bring chaos back to Major League Wrestling,” leaving fans to speculate about potential targets and storylines. The teaser question—”who will pay the toll this time?”—suggests the duo has unfinished business in the promotion.

Tickets for the Charleston event start at just $10 and are available through MLWGo.com and Ticketmaster. The event is presented by Don Gato Tequila.

Killer Kross and Scarlett wanted to stay with WWE, but they say they had a good feeling that things would end up the way they did.

Kross and Scarlett spoke with Chris Van Vliet on his Insight podcast about the final months of their WWE tenure. Scarlett said they anticipated “for months†what was going to happen. She compared herself to Melisandre, or the “Red Woman†of Game of Thrones‘ fame. Scarlett says she saw their fate while doing a tarot reading, and knew “in her gut†early on that they were going to leave WWE.

“Iâ€d say we knew for months what was happening, what was going to happen,†Scarlett explained. “I have been for a long time when it comes to astrology and looking things up, and a lot of the stuff I do on the paranormal show is a bit real with the tarot cards. So, I did see that we were going to have some sort of contract dispute, but it was going to take a while. And I did feel in my gut like weâ€re going to step away since like, February.â€

Kross said that they had told very few people about that experience, but they were always trying to make things work with WWE. He told Triple H in January that they both wanted to stay, which ultimately didnâ€t happen.

Scarlett explains why WWEâ€s negotiation tactic was a red flag

Kross and Scarlett were approached separately about contract negotiations, with a WWE representative saying they would get Kross†offer sorted first. Scarlett felt like they used her as leverage against him, although she thinks they would have signed her, too. Kross said a similar situation happened when he went from NXT to RAW, and wouldnâ€t make the same mistake again.

“But all in all, it felt like a massive, massive red flag. And I did feel like it did come off a bit misogynistic,†Scarlett said. “Because originally I was hired before you, and the idea that I have no value without him, and itâ€s only determined by whether or not he signs, that came off as very misogynistic to me.â€

“I told you this a long time ago, but didnâ€t really ever publicly talk about this,†Kross added. “When I signed to go from NXT to Raw, somebody said the exact same thing to me over the phone. And I asked her, I said, ‘What do you think?†At that time, we had no reason to ever think it would be strange or go sideways, so I signed it, being told weâ€ll get to her after we get to you. I go up to Raw, then we go into like Mad Max and the Thunderdome, and sheâ€s at home. So I was like, well, Iâ€m not gonna do that again. We already saw exactly what happened with that.â€

WWE ultimately pulled Kross†contract offer after 24 hours. He and Scarlett left the company in August, and they have continued working together on the independent scene.

Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux feel like it wouldn’t be fair to Tony Khan for them to join AEW while still holding out hope that a WWE return could happen someday.

Appearing on a new episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Kross and Scarlett would not confirm if they have had talks with AEW since their WWE departures. But the couple did reveal that there were conversations with AEW in 2022 between their first and second WWE stints.

  • Kross: I don’t think we should say who we do or don’t talk to.
  • Scarlett: We have friends everywhere. That’s the thing, we have friends everywhere.
  • Kross: When did we kind of sort of meet? That was in 2021?
  • Scarlett: It was around April 2022. Right before we came back, there was a conversation about you coming in, but the story wasn’t — it didn’t really make sense for you at the time.
  • Kross: I wanted to do something bigger for Tony at the time. So we just said, ‘Let’s stay in touch’ and had planned to do something together.

Kross and Scarlett departed WWE this August when their contracts with the company expired. While there were questions as to whether the situation was actually legitimate or just a work, there have been no signs of a WWE return to this point.

The duo told Van Vliet that everything they’ve been doing on the indies and convention circuit has been awesome. But they have amazing memories at WWE and still remember how great it is when you’re there and things are going well. Kross and Scarlett still have hope that they can experience that feeling in WWE again, though they do not know if the door is actually open for a return.

  • Scarlett: The thing about going somewhere else, it’s almost like jumping from one long-term relationship into another. When you’re still hoping that that connection is still there with the previous company, that they’re going to do the right thing, that they’re going to call. If we ever go to AEW, that’s going to be where we end up. That is — we are going to be flying the AEW flag. That is going to be our home forever. Whatever our next company is, that’s it.
  • Kross: Whatever the company is. Yeah.
  • Scarlett: We will fight for that company ’till the end.
  • Kross: Yeah, that is a major commitment. We’re both very, very big on commitment.
  • Scarlett:And it wouldn’t be fair to Tony for us, right now, we’re still talking about WWE the way we are, to go over there and be like, ‘Oh, you know, we’re just here, just to go back to WWE.’ We wouldn’t want to do that to him. So if we go there, we’re like, ‘No, we’re going to make this company the absolute best it’s ever going to be.’ And we’ll do that wherever we go.
  • Kross: Of course.

Money is not the primary focus for Kross and Scarlett. If the opportunity for a WWE return does present itself, Kross said there will need to be creative principles behind the offer, along with room for growth and the ability to work at the highest level.

It was announced over the weekend that, along with the work he’s doing on the indies, Kross will be returning to MLW in November.

Karrion Kross has revealed a weird talent relations interaction in WWE.

The former WWE star and his wife, Scarlett, recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. They talked about things such as their contract negotiations before leaving the company, working with Final Testament and more.

During the interview, the former NXT champion also discussed the infamous worked-shoot promo that went viral around the WrestleMania 41 weekend.

Kross revealed some previously unknown details about how the people within the company reacted to the promo, mentioning that someone from talent relations reached out to him the night after:

“I get a phone call from somebody in talent relations, and he says, ‘Creative is not happy. Thereâ€s heat. Theyâ€re pissed.â€

I was like, Well, I apologize about that. Let me go take care of that right now. I have a great relationship with them. Theyâ€re right across the hall. Heâ€s like uh, I said, ‘No, no, dude, this is my fault. Let me take care of it. No problem.—

What’s Going On?: Karrion Kross

Not wanting to be on bad terms with the creative, Karrion Kross talked to writers in person. Things got weird, however, when the writers denied being mad about the whole thing and the wrestling star eventually learned that it was Triple H who was unhappy:

“I go across the hall. I speak to some of the writers, explain everything. Theyâ€re like, ‘We have no idea what youâ€re talking about. We havenâ€t talked to that guy in two weeks.†Some of them didnâ€t even see it. So I was like, Whatâ€s going on here?

So I walk around the building and just looking at everything, everyoneâ€s saying, Hello, everything feels fine. I call him back, no answer. The next day, no answer. I think it was like the third day he finally picked up. Heâ€s like, ‘Yeah, I shouldnâ€t have said it that way. I apologize; it was actually Hunter.†“

Karrion Kross revealed that the person never spoke to Triple H to clear his standing. The former champion did eventually get to talk to the WWE Executive and cleared the air on the viral promo. According to Kross, The Game understood where he was coming from and was cool about the whole thing.
