Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears pulled off a dramatic comeback win, capped by a blocked field goal in the final seconds to secure a 25-24 road victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

The Bears didn’t reclaim the lead until the 1:34 mark of the fourth quarter, marking their first advantage since early in the game. With the win, Chicago improves to 2-2 on the season and picks up back-to-back victories, while Las Vegas falls to 1-3.

Williams completed 22-of-37 passes for 212 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He also fumbled twice, though both were recovered. The second-year QB connected with Rome Odunze for a touchdown; Odunze finished with 69 receiving yards. De’Andre Swift led all Bears rushers with 38 yards on the ground.

Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty had a breakout performance, scoring three touchdowns—one rushing and two receiving—while racking up 138 rushing yards. Quarterback Geno Smith went 14-of-21 for 117 yards and two touchdowns but was picked off three times.

The Bears’ comeback, combined with the Raiders’ late-game collapse, sparked plenty of reaction from fans as Chicago continue to build momentum.

Both teams got off to a sloppy start offensively, with Las Vegas’ Smith throwing an interception in the first quarter, while Chicago’s Williams also tossed a pick and Jeanty lost a fumble. Despite committing two turnovers, the Raiders held a 7-3 lead heading into the second quarter.

After another interception from Smith, Jeanty bounced back with a 64-yard touchdown run. The Bears were held to two field goals in the quarter, allowing Las Vegas to take a 14-9 lead into halftime.

Out of the break, Smith threw his third interception of the game, which the Bears converted into a touchdown to briefly close the gap. But the Raiders responded with a score of their own, entering the fourth quarter with a 21-16 lead.

Both teams added field goals early in the final frame, putting the Raiders ahead 24-19. The Bears got the ball back with 6:45 remaining, marched down the field on an 11-play drive, and capped it with a touchdown to take a 25-24 lead with 1:34 left in regulation.

Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson’s 54-yard field goal attempt was blocked with 33 seconds remaining, sealing the game’s outcome.
