Seth Rollins is no longer advertised for this weekendâ€s WWE house shows in Japan.

According to the ticket listings, Rollins has been removed from both the October 17 and 18 SuperShow cards, which will take place at Ryogoku Sumo Hall. He was originally set to face CM Punk on October 17 then team with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to take on Punk, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Jey Uso the following day. The updated lineups now have Punk wrestling Dominik Mysterio on the 17th while Punk & Nakamura will team up to take on Breakker & Reed on the 18th.

Rollins appeared to suffer a shoulder injury during his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, making appearances after show wearing a sling. It isnâ€t known if he will require surgery as he will need to be evaluated in Birmingham, Alabama. Both Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer believe the injury is legitimate, but note that some in WWE are skeptical given Rollins†injury storyline during the summer, which was claimed to be legit at the time.

A shocking storyline at the end of Mondayâ€s Raw seemed to write Rollins out for the time being. The final moments of the show saw Breakker spear Rollins, telling Reed and Paul Heyman that they were either with him or against him. Both made their choice quickly, with Heyman snatching the title from Rollins and Reed giving Rollins a tsunami. The show ended with the three united.

After interacting at a WWE NXT house show in Detroit on Friday night, Omos and Oba Femi are set to wrestle tonight in Cleveland.

The news was announced via WWE NXT social media accounts on Saturday.

“After an interaction last night at #NXTDetroit, @Obaofwwe has challenged @TheGiantOmosto a match TONIGHT at #NXTCleveland!

On Fridayâ€s show, Omos confronted Femi and the two had a brief stare down before Omos hit Femi with a clothesline. Femi then challenged Omos to a match in a video posted to social media on Saturday.

“This is a message from the ruler directly to the giant Omos. You came here to Detroit city under the guise of being an ally of the ruler. When I least expected it, you turned on me and you hit me when I wasn’t looking. Omos, you know what that tells me? That tells me that that you think you can come down from your throne, from your pedestal, and come here to NXT and try to bully people. You can’t bully anybody, especially not the ruler.”

“There can only be one Nigerian giant. There can only be one giant of Africa. There can only be one dominant force and his name is not Omos, his name is Oba Femi!”

Both Omos and Femi are from Lagos, Nigeria. Femi moved to the United States in 2017 after being offered a track and field scholarship by the University of Tennessee. Omos moved to the United States alone at the age of 15, attending Atlantic Shores Christian School and later playing basketball for the University of South Florida.

Omos returned to the ring on Thursday, defeating Lexis King at an NXT house show in Columbus. It was his first match since AAA TripleMania XXXIII, where he won the Bardahl Cup battle royal.

Sol Ruca, Jacy Jayne, and Trick Williams are also advertised for tonight’s NXT house show in Cleveland.

A date for the upcoming UFC event at the White House has seemingly been set.

During remarks at a speech on Sunday, President Trump said that the fights would take place on June 14, which happens to be his birthday. UFC has not yet confirmed the date.

“And on June 14, next year, weâ€re going to have a big UFC fight at the White House, on the grounds of the White House,†he said.

President Trump has frequently brought up the idea of a UFC event at the White House as part of America 250 celebrations taking place next year. Dana White confirmed the event was taking place back in August. Both Jon Jones and Conor McGregor have expressed interest in the event, though Dana White has said that the card has yet to be decided.

Both UFC and WWE officials have enjoyed a relationship with President Trump during his second term. White has been seen frequently with the president, appearing during his victory speech upon being re-elected last year. Trump has also been spotted at a few UFC events since returning to office.

This past week, both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon appeared with President Trump at the Oval Office as part of an executive order on using AI to help pediatric cancer treatments.

Alex Pereira lobbied to fight Jon Jones at the White House following his stunning TKO victory over Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320 on Saturday.

Speaking through an interpreter, the newly crowned light heavyweight champion said he wants to move up to the heavyweight division for his next bout. He cited Jones in the nation’s capital as his ideal opponent and location:

Pereira needed just 80 seconds to avenge his March loss to Ankalaev. He caught the champ with a right cross, which allowed him to get on top. From there, Pereira laid in a series of punches and elbows before referee Herb Dean called for the bell.

Rather than challenging Jones inside the Octagon immediately after the fight ended, the Brazilian asked the T-Mobile crowd to have a moment of silence for Jones’ brother, Arthur, who died this week.

The gesture didn’t go unnoticed, with Jones thanking Pereira on social media:

Pereira improved his record to 13-3 at UFC 320 and reclaimed his spot atop the light heavyweight division. Pitting him against Jones would be a matchup worthy of the White House card.

UFC president Dana White has downplayed the likelihood of fighting on that occasion, though.

“Let me ask you, what do you think Jon would do in the next couple of months that would make me trust putting him on the White House card?” he said in August during his post-UFC 319 press conference. “… So I already said that I don’t trust him, and you’re asking me what could he do for me to trust him in the next three months? You don’t trust him! I don’t talk to him, either. I haven’t talked to him at all. If I had to make odds, it’s a billion to one that I put Jon Jones on the White House card.”

There’s still a lot of time between now and next July, when the UFC has earmarked its White House event, but White was pretty unequivocal about Jones’ status.

Conor McGregor revealed that his fight as part of the upcoming 2026 UFC event at the White House is set.

“It ain’t a negotiation,” McGregor told Sean Hannity on Fox News. “It’s a done deal, signed, delivered. McGregor will compete in the White House for America’s 250th birthday.”

The former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion previously confirmed his involvement on the card on Sept. 12.

While UFC president Dana White hasn’t officially confirmed that the 37-year-old will be involved in the event, McGregor told Hannity that he’s been in “constant communications” with White.

Meanwhile, White left the door open regarding a potential McGregor return during a Sept. 16 appearance on the Impaulsive podcast (h/t SI.com’s Zain Bando).

“He and I have been talking nonstop,” White said. “And he’s like, ‘I’m dead serious. I want this. You know, I’m training. I’m back in the pool. I’m doing all this s–t.’ So, we’ll see. We still have a long way to go [until June]. We still have a long way to go until February until we start making these cards, so we’ll see how it plays out.”

On Sept. 25, McGregor requested $100 million in exchange for his participation in the event.

McGregor is one of the most well-known fighters in UFC history, although he hasn’t stepped in the Octagon since July 2021. While he owns a 22-6 record, three of his losses have occurred in his last four fights.

Still, McGregor is determined to work his way back and be a part of the upcoming UFC White House card.

Stephanie McMahon and Triple H visit the White House again.

On Tuesday, USA President Donald Trump signed an executive order to employ artificial intelligence (AI) for childhood cancer research, with $50 million accordingly being added to the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative. According to Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, the order is all about “action, unlocking cures, empowering families, and giving every child the chance to grow up healthy and strong.â€

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H†Levesque and former WWE executive Stephanie McMahon were in attendance for the signing, which took place at the White House in Washington, D.C. In 2014, Triple H and Stephanie established Connorâ€s Cure, a campaign aimed at raising funds to support pediatric cancer research. In 2025, McMahon helped lead the charge to make the latest executive order.

“I cannot begin to describe how proud I am of @StephMcMahon,†Triple H wrote on X alongside of photo himself, Stephanie, Linda McMahon, Trump, and others present at the White House meeting. “Her dedication to @ConnorsCure and tireless advocacy in the fight against pediatric cancer over the past decade has been truly inspiring. Todayâ€s Executive Order, which she spearheaded, marks a historic breakthrough in this incredibly important cause.â€

“With Connor in my heart and you by my side, anything is possible,†Stephanie wrote in response, referencing Connor Michalek, the young boy who inspired Connorâ€s Cure. Michalek sadly died in 2014 after battling medulloblastoma, a rare tumor affecting the brain and spine.

Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey walked away from MMA nearly a decade ago, but it sounds like she’s rediscovering her passion for the sport.

Rousey posted a video on Instagram showcasing her progress since returning to MMA training after giving birth to her daughter in January, and she wrote in the caption that she’s fallen back in love with the grind.

“From 8 weeks after having a baby and 8 years of stepping away from MMA to 8 months postpartum and finding my love for it again,” Rousey wrote in the caption.

The 38-year-old admitted that she was self-conscious about her diminished skills since stepping away from MMA following her loss to Amanda Nunes in 2016 and experiencing her current postpartum issues. However, she said her joy for the sport has returned over the past few months.

“The first clip is my first session working with @aj_mma I was super self conscious, embarrassed of how much I regressed, and honestly trying my very best not to pee my pants throwing punches so soon after having baby PÄ’Å«,” Rousey stated. “Second clip was yesterday, I’ve never laughed or smiled so much on the mat as I do these days. The last 6 months have been an absolute blast, feels like I have so much left to grow, and without the weight of the world on my shoulders nothing is holding me back.”

Rousey’s revelation comes amid the UFC’s announced plans for an event at the White House in 2026. The company recently released the first renderings to show what the event would look like.

Rousey even caught the attention of former rival Cris Cyborg, who expressed interest in finally settling their differences in a fight:

It remains to be seen if Rousey’s return to training will lead to an official fight, but the UFC undoubtedly would move mountains to get her back into the Octagon if she’s interested. The White House card would be the biggest spectacle for her potential return.
