Later this week, Ridge Holland will be having surgery to repair the injury that he suffered while competing for TNA Wrestling.

Holland — who is contracted to WWE — lost to Mike Santana at TNA Victory Road last Friday and then faced Moose over the weekend at a TV taping. The latter bout was stopped early, ending in a no contest when Holland suffered a lower leg injury. Officials and Moose helped Holland to the back as he avoided putting any weight on his left leg.

It’s been confirmed to be a foot injury that Holland suffered. He is scheduled to have surgery done this Friday.

“Lisfranc Injury…Surgery Friday,” he tweeted today. “See ya in abit”

The Lisfranc joint is located in the middle of your foot. It stabilizes the foot’s arch and helps transfer force throughout the foot while walking or running.

Holland is a former rugby player who has competed in NXT UK, NXT, the main roster, and Evolve since joining WWE in 2018. His most recent appearances for the company have happened on NXT and Evolve.

The story for the Holland vs. Santana match at Victory Road was that — because of a deal he made with Trick Williams — Holland was trying to take out Santana and prevent him from competing at Bound for Glory. Holland was not successful, but he did help Williams lay out Santana with a belt shot after the match.

Santana is challenging Williams for the TNA World Championship at Bound for Glory on October 12.
