WINNER: Tessa Blanchard in 7:00.
(D.L.’s Take: The match had a lot of moving parts, perhaps to distract from Gia’s lack of experience. Crowd seemed into it though. This appears to be the first part of the feud and they may be building towards Gia’s big win.)

WINNERS: Frankie Kazarian & Nic Nemeth in 32:00.
(D.L.’s Take: As battle royals go, this was decent. Crowd was with it throughout. The dual winners was a cop-out, and fans were clearly dissatisfied. It does give Frankie Kazarian and Nic Nemeth, two of TNA’s prominent players, a storyline going forward though.)

Indi Hartwell is looking back at one of the wildest segments from her NXT run — and sheâ€s calling out a bizarre behind-the-scenes edit that made it even weirder than fans realized.
While speaking with Metro UK, Hartwell opened up about the infamous 2021 bedroom pillow fight skit with Dexter Lumis. It was filmed as part of their NXT storyline romance and was originally supposed to take place in a hotel. Instead, WWE taped it inside the actual bedroom of WWE Vice President of Content and Development, Jeremy Borash.
What made it really awkward? The sounds WWE decided to throw in after the fact.
“Filming that was weird. But then watching it on TV was weirder because they edited in, like, moaning, which wasnâ€t me. I donâ€t know where they got this girl moaning from, but they edited that in. And I was, ‘Oh my God, my parents are gonna watch this,†but itâ€s all good! Itâ€s all in good fun, and itâ€s all for the job.â€
Hartwell said she laughed when she saw the final cut — and while she worried about her parents seeing the segment, she accepted it as part of the job. The moaning wasnâ€t hers, but the reaction certainly was.
Despite the strange post-production choices, Hartwell still sees that era as a highlight of her time in NXT. Her storyline with Lumis — complete with the wedding, wild segments, and unique chemistry — gave fans a reason to tune in every week.
“Itâ€s all in good fun, and itâ€s all for the job.â€
Looking back now, the moaning mightâ€ve been over the top, but that just made it even more unforgettable.
Do you think WWE went too far with that edit, or was it just classic sports entertainment? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
