The Vision’s new full-time member has been slapped by a WWE Hall of Famer.
Paul Heyman and The Vision have had quite an interesting last 48 hours. While speculation has been rife about who the mystery attacker was who stomped CM Punk and handed Bron Breakker the win in the WarGames match, the group has remained silent about it. Heyman stated that he had no idea who it was, while Bron Breakker only alluded to it on WWE RAW while talking about his world title opportunity against CM Punk. In all this chaos, a new full-time member was added to the group in the form of Logan Paul. While many thought the alliance was a temporary one, it’s not the case. However, Paul has already landed himself in controversy soon after joining the group.
Rey Mysterio Slapped Logan Paul Backstage On WWE RAW
Rey Mysterio was seen cutting a promo and talking about going after the Intercontinental Title in a backstage segment on WWE RAW when the Hall of Famer was interrupted by Logan Paul. The Maverick stated that he had the right to go after the IC Title and made jokes about Mysterio’s height. Paul stated that the legend was past his prime and that he needed to ‘step down’.
Ultimately, Mysterio had had enough and slapped Logan Paul, almost leading to an all-out brawl among them.

It seems both stars have one goal in mind.

A WWE Hall of Famer appeared for his first match in 5 years. He faced Joey Janela in a singles bout.
Jushin Thunder Liger had last wrestled in 2020, where he teamed up with Naoki Sano to take on the duo of Hiromu Takahashi & Ryu Lee at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14 at the Tokyo Dome.
His contributions to the pro-wrestling industry over the years have led to him amassing numerous titles and accolades under his belt, including being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020.
It had appeared that Liger was done with the active wrestling scene after this, but he recently returned for another fight at WrestleCade. The WWE Hall of Famer fought former AEW star Joey Janela, defeating him in a bout that lasted less than 2 minutes.

Joey Janela Posted About His Match With The WWE Hall Of Famer
Like anyone who could have had the honor of facing Jushin Thunder Liger in the ring, Joey Janela was also ecstatic to get the chance to meet and share the ring with one of the legends of the business.
Taking to Instagram later, Janela penned a heartfelt tribute to the WWE Hall of Famer, stating that he had never expected to be in the same ring as Jushin Thunder Liger.
He wrote:
I thought I saw a ghost!
In highschool when I was 16, I would bring a portable dvd player on the bus and watch the George Mayfied 7 hour Jushin Liger compilation, 20 years later some how @wrestlecade made this wizardry happen!
Spectacular feels!”

Fans in attendance were also enthralled by the match, as the WWE Hall of Famer seemed to be right at home in the ring despite his lengthy absence and his aging body.

The feud between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart is arguably one of the most important storylines of the 90s, as it kickstarted what would eventually become WWE’s “Attitude Era.” Years later, during the anniversary of the “Montreal Screwjob,” Hart returned to Montreal for the “Johnny I Pro Show,” where he looked back at his history with Austin.
“We just always had a good chemistry…I think I had a lot to do with Steve going to WWF in the first place,” Hart claimed. The veteran then explained that he always tried to get Vince McMahon to bring new talent on board, and criticized his former boss for letting Austin go to WCW. “I had just heard from somebody that Steve Austin had been let go or had just re-signed, I think, with ECW.”
Hart further claimed that he also questioned McMahon on not trying to scoop Austin up again, and with the ECW deal, McMahon finally took action and signed him within a few months. “So, I had a lot to do with Steve coming to the WWF in the first place, so when he did arrive, I was like: ‘There you are!’ Like, ‘I was the one who was trying to get you in here!'”
Bret Hart fondly looks back at his WrestleMania 13 clash against Steve Austin

WWE
When it came to Stone Cold Steve Austin’s ability, Bret Hart boldly proclaimed that his former rival was a really good wrestler who wanted to work hard and make a difference. “So, I think the fact that we just had a really good chemistry in the beginning led to everything else,” he added. “The WrestleMania 13 match was… We fought at Survivor Series, which was a really good match too.” Hart, looking back at Survivor Series 1996, claimed he did everything he could think of in that match, and putting the match together with Austin allowed them to just wrestle at WrestleMania 13 because of the chemistry they’d built.
“The Hitman” then criticized the concept of the “I Quit” match, noting that he even complained to Vince McMahon, but that he and Austin ultimately made the best of what they were given.Â
“I always loved the match for so many things,” Bret said. “Even the blood, you know, I mean, just to be frank and honest, nobody would be, probably, talking about that match today if there wasn’t blood in it.”
Some consider his WrestleMania 13 match against Austin as the greatest match of all time, but Hart felt that was a bit presumptuous.
“I don’t have any problem saying that was the greatest match of all time, although that’s impossible to say, but it was just such a beautiful story,” Hart said.

Bully Ray thinks AEW pay-per-views are too long.
On a recent episode of Busted Open Radio where the hosts were discussing AEW Full Gear 2025, Bully compared AEW running long shows to ECW doing the same before they landed on pay-per-view in April 1997.
“When it comes to the length of the show, I understand some fans being upset with that,” Bully said. “In ECW back in the day, we would have very long shows at the ECW Arena, but that was for the 1000 people who showed up to see the show. It wasn’t for the people watching on pay-per-view at home. There was no pay-per-view back then for ECW, so it was for the people in attendance.â€
David LaGreca mentioned that he felt the audience in Newark on Saturday helped create a good atmosphere throughout the show despite the length.
“Listen, five hours is a long time to keep an energy level up no matter what you are doing,” Bully continued.
“I think that for AEW, the sweet spot for them might be four hours. Knock it down one hour. We know you’re never getting this done in three.”
Bully then compared the length of AEW pay-per-views to other events that can run four hours, such as concerts and football games.
Bully Rayâ€s comments about the length of AEW pay-per-views begin around the 3-minute and 9-second mark in the player below:

Booker T doesn’t understand why Bret Hart often sounds “bitter” in interviews.
Hart recently took part in a live interview in Montreal that was later published on YouTube by The Johnny Pro Show. As often occurs after Hart gives an interview, his comments that are critical of others, specifically regarding Goldberg, trended online.
Booker T responded to Hart’s most recent comments on his Hall of Fame podcast.
“Bret Hart has been all over the place lately. And I really donâ€t even know what it is,” Booker said on the show. “I like Bret Hart. Bret Hart has done so much for this business and now at this stage of the game seems like I donâ€t know. Itâ€s like everythingâ€s nuclear. Everythingâ€s just like burn, let everything burn. And I just say, why?â€
Booker then spoke about Hart having “deep-rooted” issues with Goldberg stemming from the kick to Hart’s head at Starrcade 99 that eventually led to the end of Hart’s in-ring career.
“I know Bret Hart had his issues with Goldberg and those issues are deep-rooted for what happened inside the ring. But one thing I must say, stuff that happens in the ring, it happens. I donâ€t think none of us go out in the middle of the ring and try to hurt somebody on purpose or anything like that.”
Booker was the subject of one of Hart’s criticism this summer, when he complained about Booker’s axe kick being dangerous during a virtual signing.
Booker continued:
“I just think Bret Hart is a much better person than the person thatâ€s been doing these podcasts and making a lot of these claims that heâ€s been making as of late.â€
“Some of this stuff you can’t walk back,” Booker continued.
During Hartâ€s interview in Montreal, some of his comments that drew the most attention were his criticism of Goldberg, specifically comparing him to Brock Lesnar, who Hart says he has always heard is a professional in the ring. Hart also mentioned finding modern wrestling too “fake†to enjoy.
Booker’s comments are available in the video below:

For many years, fans have been clamoring for a physical Hall of Fame from WWE and now Triple H has admitted it could happen in the future.
While speaking to Complex, Triple H revealed that a physical WWE Hall of Fame hasnâ€t been ruled out and could eventually become a reality. He explained that fans frequently ask for an actual building for the Hall of Fame, and itâ€s an idea that might still happen in the future.
“You know, people always ask us all the time about a brick-and-mortar Hall of Fame. That might still be something in the future.â€
WWE has inducted many legends into their Hall of Fame, but there still isnâ€t any physical building. In fact, there were talks of a physical Hall of Fame in WWE in the past but nothing came out of those discussions.
With WWE going through big changes under the TKO merger and Triple H taking greater creative control, many fans think a physical Hall of Fame could finally become possible. His comments give hope that the idea isnâ€t off the table. For now, weâ€ll just have to wait and see if it actually happens.
If WWE finally builds a physical Hall of Fame, what would you like to see inside? Sound off in the comments.

WWE legend Bret Hart recently let out his unfiltered thoughts about a particular Hall of Famer.
Hart has often been very straightforward with his words, calling out multiple other legends on their shortcomings whenever he wanted. The veteran has often targeted Goldberg, but he recently spoke about another name who has left a mark on the pro-wrestling industry.
Speaking in an interview on Johnny I Pro Show, Bret Hart talked about his favorite stars from his childhood. Mentioning that he had a particular fondness for masked characters, including Mil Máscaras. The WWE legend was candid about Máscaras being a horrible wrestler and a human being.
Mil Máscaras was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012.
I loved masked wrestlers. I loved all, anyone with a mask. And Mil Máscaras was one of my favorites as a kid. And unfortunately he was a really horrible wrestler and a horrible human being. But, you know, didn’t stop me from liking masked wrestlers and when I met Rey Mysterio, I still say this, Rey Mysterio is one of the greatest wrestlers, maybe the greatest wrestler of all time. Nobody could lace Rey Mysterio’s shoes up,” Hart said.

WWE Legend Believes Goldberg Should Not Be In The Hall Of Fame
Bret Hart’s career ended prematurely after a botched kick from Goldberg, which has seemingly led to The Hitman having a lifelong distaste for Da Man.
Speaking during an interview with Inside The Ropes, Hart talked about how he would be happy to wrestle even today if he could. He further bashed Goldberg and said:
Hell yeah [I would wrestle in Saudi Arabia]. I would have shipped those guys and wrestled in Saudi Arabia and each guy got paid $3 million each. Bill Goldberg, who kicked me in the head [and] never even thought about it eight months later, went over to Saudi Arabia, got paid $3 million for a five-minute wrestling match, and put all that money in his pocket but never once thought about costing me $16 million when he kicked me in the head.
And so I regret that I got injured by a guy that couldnâ€t wrestle and has no business being in a Hall of Fame. He should be in the Hall of Shame.â€
Goldberg has also retired from wrestling, with his last match being in WWE against Gunther earlier this year.

Everyone has to start somewhere in wrestling, though most don’t have starts like AEW star and future WWE Hall of Famer Paul Wight. Though he had some training at the WCW Power Plant, Wight was a very raw 23 year old when he first debuted in WCW as The Giant, Andre the Giant’s “son,” in 1995, joining the Dungeon of Doom in their never ending war with Hulk Hogan. It was an opportunity that led to Wight briefly holding the WCW World Heavyweight Championship that fall, in between surviving a fall off the roof of Cobo Hall following a Sumo Monster Truck match with Hogan, and plenty of other Hogan/Dungeon of Doom hijinks.
On a recent episode of “83 Weeks,” former WCW head Eric Bischoff relived some of Wight’s earliest days in WCW. He explained that Hogan was heavily involved with Wight’s direction at the time, in large part because Hogan was the one who discovered him and put him on the path to begin a wrestling career.
“I mean, Paul came to WCW through Hulk,” Bischoff said. “I think Hulk met him in Chicago at a charity event of some kind, and was so impressed with him that I probably got the phone call the next day. And once Paul came into WCW, he was…he was a project for Hulk. Hulk saw so much in him, again, because of the experience Hulk had with Andre the Giant.Â
“This, I think in Hulk’s mind at the time, was ‘Ah, we have another one.’ And he had so much success with Andre, obviously his match with Andre the Giant, really, in Hulk’s mind I think, largely responsible for Hulk’s success. This was just another way to recapture some of that magic. He saw the opportunity in Paul. So he…Hulk was hands on in just about every aspect of Paul Wight’s career once he got to WCW.”

This season, Chris Paul’s 21st in the NBA, will be the final chapter of the future Hall of Fame point guard’s illustrious career, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
In the summer, Paul, 40, signed what was reported as a one-year, $3.6 million deal to reunite with the Los Angeles Clippers, with whom he had previously starred from 2011-17. After inking the contract, he called the decision to return to the Clippers a “no-brainer,” but he said he didn’t know if the 2025-26 campaign would be his last in the league.

“I think throughout this season, at some point — guys that I know whoâ€ve retired, and all this different type of stuff — you know, and you sort of figure it out yourself,” Paul told ESPN’s Malika Andrews in late July. “It tells you. But I think more than anything, this season, I will definitely enjoy it. I donâ€t take this for granted.â€
Paul has reportedly come to his conclusion a month into the season. Following an efficient 2024-25 with the San Antonio Spurs — during which he started all 82 games — he’s averaging just 2.5 points and 3.3 assists in 13.7 minutes per game for a 4-11 Clippers team.

“What a ride…Still so much left…GRATEFUL for this last one!!” Paul wrote on Instagram Saturday below a video filled with highlights and set to a remix of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.”
Paul made the post ahead of the Clippers’ road game versus the Charlotte Hornets in his home state of North Carolina.
Paul has played for seven franchises and, even though an NBA championship has escaped his reÌsumeÌ, he’s collected a laundry list of accomplishments, including 11 All-NBA selections and nine NBA All-Defensive Team nods. Additionally, Paul has led the league in assists five times and steals six times.

He started his career with the New Orleans Hornets. They selected him No. 4 overall out of Wake Forest in the 2005 draft. He won NBA Rookie of the Year in 2006, jumpstarting his six-season run with the Hornets that went through the 2010-11 season.
Since, he’s suited up for the Los Angeles Clippers (2011-17), Houston Rockets (2017-19), Oklahoma City Thunder (2019-20), Phoenix Suns (2020-23), Golden State Warriors (2023-24), Spurs (2024-25) and now the Clippers again.
Paul has averaged 16.9 points, 9.2 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2 steals per game in his career. While those numbers have dipped over the years, his continued impact as a floor general has allowed him to play into his 40s as he cements his legacy as one of the league’s top point guards of all time.

A WWE Hall of Famer’s son has put the wrestling world on notice following a massive debut.
Steven Borden, son of the legendary Sting (real name: Steve Borden), first appeared in the wrestling scene in his father’s last match at AEW Revolution 2024. He dressed as “nWo Wolfpac” Sting while his brother, Garrett, donned the “Surfer” version of the WWE Hall of Famer. They even got themselves into the action as Steven hit his father’s signature Stinger Splash on Nick Jackson.
The WWE Hall of Famer’s son has been training with Darby Allin, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), and Adam Copeland ever since 2024.
A year later, Steven made his in-ring debut on October 3, 2025, teaming with JD Drake in a losing effort against Allin and Killer Kross at the ACW 52W HARDAWAY event in New York City. However, it was just a preview of a much better arrival of Sting’s son in the world of professional wrestling.
In the recently concluded AEON 2 event of DEFY Wrestling (which was streamed on TrillerTV+), Borden made his independent wrestling debut, and fans couldn’t help but notice that he bore an uncanny resemblance to The Icon. Some of them even thought that he was his father’s clone.
Even commentators couldn’t help but be in awe of Steven, which led them to say that he’s a spitting image of his father.

Steven was greeted with a rousing ovation and resounding cheers from the crowd at the Washington Hall in Seattle, Washington.
WWE Hall of Famer Sting’s Son Steven Borden Wins In His First Singles Match
During the event mentioned above, Steven Borden, Sting’s son, faced Kiran Grey in a singles match. Earlier on, Sting’s son showed flashes of his athleticism, impressing the crowd in Seattle.
In the end, the WWE Hall of Famer’s descendant scored his very first victory in professional wrestling against Grey, who’s also a Darby Allin trainee.
