Saturday’s special Fright Night episode of AEW Collision will include an ROH World Championship match.

Bandido defending the ROH World title against Mascara Dorada was one of two new matches added to Saturday’s lineup during Wednesday’s Fright Night Dynamite episode.

It will be Bandido’s first defense on ROH or AEW programming since Death Before Dishonor in August, although he defended the title on October 3 against Hechicero in CMLL.

Also added to Fright Night Collision, Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita will try to coexist as partners in a tag match against Max Caster and Anthony Bowens. A Don Callis Family summit on Dynamite failed to ease the storyline tensions between Okada and Takeshita.

Already announced for the show, Mercedes Mone puts the CMLL World Women’s title on the line against Olympia.

Spoilers for Saturday’s Collision episode taped Wednesday night in Texas are available here.

The announced lineup for the show to this point:

AEW Fright Night Collision, Saturday, November 1, 8 p.m. Eastern time on TNT and HBO Max —

  • CMLL World Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone defends against Olympia
  • ROH World Champion Bandido defends against Olympia
  • Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita vs. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens

The annual Blood and Guts edition of “AEW Dynamite” is just two weeks away, and we got a little insight into who the two teams would be for the men’s match. The Conglomeration’s Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, and Kyle O’Reilly, along with Roderick Strong, who is still trying his best to not conglomerate, and Darby Allin, threw out the challenge to the Death Riders, who will be made up of Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Wheeler Yuta, and Daniel Garcia. It will likely be a great match that scratches the bloodthirsty itch I personally have, but you would be forgiven in thinking that this is the first Blood and Guts challenge that has been thrown out in recent weeks.

A few weeks ago on “AEW Collision,” Jamie Hayter stated that she had had enough of the Triangle of Madness and demanded that their score be settled inside the demonic double-caged structure. Since then, there have been references to it, but it only results in a graphic popping up in the lower third, reminding people of when and where the show is and how you can buy tickets. There have been almost no segments and no movement towards what the first-ever women’s Blood and Guts will look like, which is just frustrating, as it is disappointing, considering we basically got a full picture of what the men’s match would look like in one segment.

The cliché of arguing about Tony Khan’s inability to book his women’s division with any amount of consistency has been ran into the ground, but the first-ever women’s Blood and Guts match is a historic moment for the company and the women’s division itself. The fact that it’s not been treated as such is just baffling. What’s more, the tournament to crown the first-ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions seems to have completely overshadowed the build to what is meant to be a historic match. Yes, we all love the fact that the women are getting more things to fight over, but the way things have played out in recent weeks just proves that when it comes to the women, Khan can only focus on one thing at a time.

At the time of writing, it looks as if we are getting Hayter, Aminata, and then maybe Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, and even Kris Statlander involved for the faces, while the Triangle of Madness could be joined by Athena and Mercedes Mone. Again, that should be great, but the fact that we are two weeks away from such a big moment and there are still question marks over who is going to be in the match itself is a real headscratcher.

Samoa Joe in the ring

AEW/Lee South

Samoa Joe defeated Hook, Ricochet, and Bobby Lashley in the main event of “AEW Dynamite” to earn his place opposite “Hangman” Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear.Â

Lashley went after Ricochet as the bell rung, with Ricochet fleeing the ring and Joe attacking Lashley; Hook attacked Joe, who then turned around and told him to relax before turning back to Lashley, but then Hook continued and Joe swiftly reciprocated the striking exchange. Hook would do the same thing after working with Lashley to take out Ricochet later on, turning on Lashley who also told him very loudly to calm down. Hook didn’t, and after a brief exchange with Lashley later found himself back in the ring reaping the rewards of that courtesy of Joe.

Lashley finally got his hands on Ricochet again inside of the ring and looked to have the match under wraps, but Hook broke his cover and sent him outside of the ring to yet again set the stage for an exchange with Joe. Ricochet then took out Hook from the top ropes, following up with outside dives to Lashley and Joe and setting up for the Shooting Star Press on Hook, but only for a near-fall.Â

Joe went for the Muscle Buster to Hook, receiving a Lashley spear as he did so, with Ricochet once again breaking up the subsequent cover. Ricochet ultimately cost Lashley the match with a chair shot to the back, doing no damage physically but drawing Lashley into chasing him as Joe cinched in the Coquina Clutch to Hook in the ring. Hook tapped out as Lashley attempted to return to the ring and make the save, handing Joe the victory and securing his opportunity at Full Gear; a rematch after losing to Page at WrestleDream.Â

After the match, Joe signed the contract for the bout, expecting Page to be one of the costumed extras – specifically the ‘Stay Puft’ Marshmallow Man – only to find that the champion was actually dressed as Tony Schiavone in a last-minute exhange, closing the show with Page standing tall over his challenger and the Opps.Â

FTR in the corner with Stokely Hathaway

AEW/Lee South

FTR defeated JetSpeed, the Young Bucks, and Jurassic Express in a four-way tag match during “AEW Dynamite,” securing a shot at the World Tag Team Championship held by Brodido at AEW Full Gear.Â

FTR and JetSpeed got things started with Mike Bailey and Dax Harwood in the ring, but before long Jack Perry tagged into the match via Harwood. However, the structure fell apart shortly after with all four teams in the ring fighting, and FTR and the Young Bucks then working together to isolate Kevin Knight in the ring – Harwood had remained the legal man opposite Knight, who was forced to tag Perry back into things.

The Bucks and FTR worked together to take out Perry and Luchasaurus, but then Cash Wheeler attacked Matt Jackson for FTR to turn on the Bucks, and the proceeding skirmish leaving all four teams on the ground. Knight came close to winning the match with a near-fall pin attempt on Luchasaurus, with Bailey clearing the rest of the field on the outside, and then had to make his own near-fall after kicking out of the BTE Trigger. But he was ultimately on the losing end of things after taking a Shatter Machine for FTR to get the pinfall win.Â

FTR will now face the Tag Team Champions for the first time in a traditional two-on-two match since their 30-minute time limit draw in August, with FTR having been the ones pinned at Forbidden Door for Brodido to capture the titles at Forbidden Door.Â

The build to the Full Gear pay-per-view continues on tonight’s AEW Fright Night Dynamite.

Multiple matches on tonight’s episode have Full Gear implications, with new top title contenders to be crowned on the show.

A four-way will decide which wrestler will challenge Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at the pay-per-view. It will be Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Ricochet vs. Hook for the right to challenge the Hangman.

A four-way will also decide the next AEW Tag Team Championship challengers, with The Young Bucks vs. FTR vs. JetSpeed vs. Jurassic Express. The winners challenge Brodido for the Tag titles at Full Gear.

The tournament to crown the inaugural AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions also continues on tonight’s show, with Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata vs. Sisters of Sin (Skye Blue and Julia Hart) in a quarterfinals matchup.

Jon Moxley will go one-on-one with Kyle O’Reilly on the program. A tornado tag with Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin vs. Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia is also set for the show.

The Don Callis Family will also hold a summit to discuss the recent tensions between Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita.

AEW Fright Night Dynamite comes on the air with Excalibur welcoming us alongside Bryan Danielson as they throw it right to Justin Roberts for the intros to our opening contest.

Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin vs. Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia in a Trick or Treat Tornado Tag Match

(A chaotic start to the night to get the crowd going, as the Death Riders spiral continues with Allin getting another member to submit. I wouldnâ€t mind if Cassidy & Allin were a more consistent tag team, but I donâ€t know if thatâ€s in the cards.)

Allin & Cassidy attacked at the bell, as Danielson is delighted that no tags are required here, so Yuta could get punched in the face at any moment. The match spills outside, where Yuta faked pulling out weapons, opting to flip the crowd off instead, only to get popped with a chair in the back by Allin. While placed on the chair, Allin got a head of steam in the ring and hit a low Tope, wiping out Yuta. Garcia tried shooting Cassidy into the barricade, but Cassidy cleared it like a hurdle, dared Garcia to come fight him, but got blindsided by Yuta, who joined Garcia in double teaming Cassidy in the crowd. As this was happening, Allin flew in from off-screen with a Coffin Drop. Yuta & Cassidy fought into the stands, as back ringside, Allin ran the barricade with a shotgun dropkick on Garcia, as chaos took us to commercial.

Back from break, Yuta & Garcia had regained control, as Allin was sent crashing to the floor, while they set-up tables ringside. Cassidy dared both back into the ring, hands in pockets, as he caught both with dropkicks and DDTs. Garcia dodged a Stundog Millionaire into a guillotine, as he gator rolled to the floor, placing Cassidy on the table, as Yuta flew off the top with a splash through it. In the ring, Allin dared Garcia to hit him with a skateboard, but it was a way to lure Garcia in, as once his head was down, Allin hit a Code Red. Quickly up to try a Coffin Drop, Yuta cut Allin off, with a Tree of Woe and boot to the groin, as Cassidy went up and made the save raking at the back, until Allin powered up into a low blow. Cassidy leapt off the top with a DDT, Allin followed with a Coffin Drop, but Garcia narrowly broke the count. Orange Punch delivered to Garcia on the apron, as Yuta was caught with Sole Food before Cassidy hit a dive on Garcia through a table. Allin applied the Scorpion Death Lock on Yuta, who had no choice but to tap out, the same way Jon Moxley submitted at WrestleDream. Danielson said giving up mustâ€ve been something he learned from Moxley, as he certainly didnâ€t learn it from him.

Match Result: Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin defeated Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia when Allin submitted Yuta

-HOOK was shown arriving in the arena earlier today (there were guys backstage dressed in costumes, one being the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, a nice callback from a few years ago on Dynamite with Hangman Pageâ€s feud with The Elite) and said obviously heâ€s the underdog tonight, as heâ€ll be in there with decorated veterans, but he wouldnâ€t want it any other way. HOOK said heâ€ll be doing his best that Samoa Joe doesnâ€t win tonight, as he decided to show the world who he really is, someone HOOK already knew.

**********

-Renee Paquette is backstage with Don Callis to talk about his Family Summit later tonight. Callis said tonight heâ€ll show his Family has never been stronger until he welcomed in The Young Bucks, saying itâ€s criminal what this company has done to them. Callis tells them to think about having a Family to have their back and told a production jobber to cue the entrance he had arranged for them. The Bucks walk by the same guys in costumes from earlier, looking at the Marshallow Man before heading to the ring. Paquette handed the mic to Callis to give a wildly over the top intro calling them one of the greatest of all time and brought up them being former friends of that rat bastard Kenny Omega. There were tons of pyro and The Bucks seemed pretty pleased with the intro.

Blue and Hart standing on the entrance ramp

AEW/Lee South

Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s live coverage for AEW Fright Night “Dynamite” on October 29, 2025, coming to you live from the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas!

The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament will be kicking off tonight, as Sisters of Sin’s Julia Hart and Skye Blue go head-to-head with Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata in a quarterfinals match. Not only will the winners face either Babes Of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) or TBS Champion Mercedes Mone and Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion Athena in the semifinals, but Hayter and Aminata selected Sisters of Sin to face in the quarterfinals last Wednesday after they earned the right to do so by emerging victorious in a Four-Way Tag Team Match.

One third of the reigning AEW World Trios Champions Samoa Joe, HOOK, Ricochet of The Demand, and The Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley will be squaring off with one another in a Fright Night Four-Way Fight to determine who will be challenging “Hangman” Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at AEW Full Gear on November 22. While Lashley, Ricochet, and HOOK all have yet to challenge Page for his title during his current reign, Joe was unsuccessful in dethroning Page as AEW World Champion at AEW WrestleDream on October 18.

Similar to Page, Brody King and Bandido will be finding out who will be challenging them for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at Full Gear when Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks, JetSpeed’s Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey, FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, and Jack Perry and Luchasaurus of Jurassic Express all square off with one another in a Fright Night Four-Way Fight. King and Bandido’s most recent defense of their title came at WrestleDream when they retained against AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita of The Don Callis Family.

Additionally, following the rising tensions between them, Takeshita and Okada will be appearing on tonight’s show when Don Callis hosts a summit for The Don Callis Family.

We are live! Excalibur and Bryan Danielson greet audiences at home as Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin make their way to the ring. Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta follow.

Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta vs. Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin in a Trick Or Treat Tornado Tag Team Match

The bell rings and Allin whips Cassidy into Garcia in one of the corners. Garcia and Yuta use their shirts to choke Cassidy and Allin, and Yuta delivers a stomp to Allin. Allin and Cassidy catch Garcia and Yuta with double back body drops, but Yuta sends Allin crashing into one of the barricades on the outside. Allin cracks a chair across Yuta’s spine, then sits him on the chair and flies through the middle rope to level him on the outside.

Yuta runs over Cassidy as the action spills into the crowd. Garcia and Yuta then rain down right hands on Cassidy, but Allin delivers a Coffin Drop to both men off the top of one of the balconies. Garcia dumps Allin into the crowd as Cassidy and Yuta climb up the ring steps. Allin then delivers a dropkick to Garcia back in the ringside area.

Back from the break, Cassidy looks to land a Stun Dog Millionaire on Garcia. Garcia sees him coming and cinches in a front face lock on Cassidy before he lays him on top of a table. Yuta ascends to the top rope and lands a crossbody on Cassidy that sends him crashing through the table.

Allin rolls his skateboard over to Garcia and invites him to hit him with it. Cassidy and Yuta teeter on the ropes, but Allin low blows Yuta and Cassidy follows it up with a Tornado DDT to him. Allin then connects with a Coffin Drop on Yuta and goes for a pin, but Garcia breaks the fall. Cassidy connects with a Sole Food on Yuta, then flies out of the ring to send Garcia crashing through a table. Allin cinches in a Scorpion Death Lock on Yuta, and Yuta taps out.

Winners: Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin
