TNA Wrestling Bound For Glory 2025 saw an amazing match ruined by an NXT stable.
TNA Wrestlingâ€s Bound For Glory event went down on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. This included a very impressive match for the X-Division Title.
At TNA Bound For Glory, Leon Slater defended the TNA X-Division Championship against Jeâ€Von Evans. The match continued the crossover between TNA and WWEâ€s NXT brand, with Evans representing NXT in his bid to capture one of TNAâ€s most historic titles.
Fans cheered this match before Evans and Slater even touched each other. This had a big fight feel, and both competitors shook hands before they started. The fans also chanted “This Is Awesome†before the first move.
Once the match got started, Slater and Evans matched each other move for move, even doing a pose like the famous Spiderman twin meme, and fans were all here for it.
The contest continued as Jeâ€Von Evans had a chance to show off a bit, but Leon Slater was right with him. This assault from Evans included a ton of high risk dives, and Evans felt the brunt of each daredevil move.
Slater nailed a nice cutter for a near fall. Fans chanted “TNA†as the match continued, and Leon Slater mounted his offense against the guest from NXT. After Evans countered a slingshot into a DDT, he took off his shirt and got down to business with an OG Cutter on the ring apron as fans chanted “Holy Sh*t.â€
This match was one high spot after another, as Evans nailed a splash from the top rope across the ring, but Slater kicked out. Eventually, both men were laid out on the mat as they reset themselves.
Leon Slater kept putting up a huge fight as he continued kicking out of everything Jeâ€Von Evans threw at him. Eventually, they ended up in the crowd, fighting through the crowd. In the end, the twenty-minute time limit expired as they battled at ringside. Fans booed this result in a huge way, because there was no real winner decided in the match. Fans chanted “bullsh*t†and then TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella came out to re-start the match with 5 more minutes.
The two went at it in a big way as soon as the bell sounded to re-start the match. Suddenly, the lights went out before Evans could get the pinfall, and then DarkState made their way out to disrupt things and end the match with a massive beatdown.
Fans chanted “f*ck these guys†as DarkState posed in the ring. This was not the result anyone wanted at all for this highly expected TNA X-Division Title match.

The Call Your Shot Gauntlet match at TNA Bound For Glory 2025 lit up the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, but fans werenâ€t thrilled with how it ended — and they werenâ€t quiet about it either.
TNAâ€s annual spectacle went down on Sunday, October 12, with the intergender Call Your Shot Gauntlet match once again offering the winner a future title shot of their choosing. The rules were clear: survive the battle royal, make it to the final two, and win by pinfall. But this yearâ€s match took a left turn nobody saw coming.
Léi YÇng Lee entered the match at #1, followed by Mara Sade. The early minutes were full of surprises — Ryan Nemeth entered third, but quickly got jumped by both women. Nic Nemeth entered fourth to back up his brother, and Cedric Alexander hit the ring next in his Bound For Glory debut.
As more names entered — including Rich Swann, AJ Francis, Eric Young, Jake Something, and even YouTuber BDE — the eliminations piled up. The Rascalz stormed in as a unit, while Dani Luna, Rosemary, and hometown surprise entrants added even more chaos.
One moment drew major heat: Jody Threat was scheduled to enter at #17 but never made it to the ring. Frankie Kazarian ambushed her and stole her spot. Santino Marella came out next, Cobra in hand, and dropped Kazarian before being swiftly tossed out by Nic Nemeth.
Then Matt Cardona entered at #19 to a thunderous ovation and quickly cleared house, only to be double-teamed by the Nemeth Brothers. Mance Warner was the final entrant, taking the match down to the final stretch.
It all came down to Kazarian — who was never officially eliminated — and Nic Nemeth. After both men appeared to score a pin at the same time, the referees couldnâ€t come to an agreement. In the end, TNA declared them both winners.
That announcement set the crowd off. Fans erupted in boos, chanting “bullsht!â€* as both Kazarian and Nemeth celebrated their dual victory. Social media lit up with fans calling the decision a “joke†and demanding TNA make it right.
The Call Your Shot Gauntlet may have produced two winners, but it left the audience with zero satisfaction. Now the big question is — will both men actually get a title shot, or will TNA be forced to revisit this messy finish?
What did you think of the double win at TNA Bound For Glory? Should there have been a clear winner? Drop your comments below and let us know how youâ€d fix this finish.
Derrick Henry is a powerful back and one of the most dominant players of his generation who is seemingly the perfect option to give the ball on the goal line.
Yet the Baltimore Ravens decided to go a different route during its final possession of the first half of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
After reaching the Los Angeles 1-yard line, the Ravens attempted two consecutive tush pushes with tight end Mark Andrews. The Rams stuffed him on both attempts and were then ready to stop Henry on the ensuing fourth down.
“They got [Derrick Henry], who I would probably want to just give him the ball,” Tom Brady said in his analyst role on Fox Sports. “And I love Mark Andrews. It’s just a hard thing, you don’t practice it that much.”Â
The sequence drew plenty of reaction on social media:
That Henry played so well in the first half only made the sequence all the more confusing.
The five-time Pro Bowler had 90 rushing yards by intermission and was largely carrying a Ravens offense that is playing without injured quarterback Lamar Jackson for the second straight game.
Los Angeles deserves plenty of credit as well, as it stuffed the middle of the line and didn’t give Andrews any space to successfully run the tush push. It even appeared to force a fumble on the third-down attempt, but officials ruled forward progress and blew the play dead.
When Baltimore lined up in a traditional look for fourth down, it was far too obvious that Henry would be getting the ball after the previous two failed attempts. The Rams were not fooled and forced a turnover on downs much to the chagrin of the frustrated fans.
Frustration has been the predominant emotion for the Ravens this season, who are off to a 1-4 start and look nothing like the Super Bowl contender they hoped to be at the start of the campaign.
Injuries are a large part of the issue, but poor play calling and missed opportunities like the one in the first half against the Rams aren’t helping.
Shan Masood of Pakistan bats (Photo by Sameer Ali/Getty Images) Pakistani cricket fans at Gaddafi Stadium displayed unusual behaviour during day one of the first Test against South Africa on Sunday, cheering the dismissal of their own captain Shan Masood because it meant fan-favourite Babar Azam would be next at the crease. Masood scored 76 runs in a 161-run second wicket partnership with Imam ul Haq, who made 93. The captain was given out leg before wicket to Prenelan Subrayan in the second session. When Masood opted for a DRS review, the crowd surprisingly cheered as the big screen confirmed the umpire’s original decision, sending him back to the pavilion. The stadium erupted in applause as former captain Babar Azam walked in to bat, though he would only manage 23 runs before falling shortly after tea.”Someone needs to remind the crowd you don’t do this with your captain,” remarked South African commentator Shaun Pollock, expressing his amazement at the crowd’s reaction.Click here to watch the viral video of Pakistan crowd’s reactionThe Pakistan Cricket Board had offered free entry to several enclosures to attract more spectators to the match.Despite the free entry initiative, most of the enclosures remained empty, though there was a sizeable crowd present in the stadium.Pakistan posted 313-5 on day one of the first Test against South Africa in Lahore, led by Imam-ul-Haqâ€s brilliant 93 and Shan Masoodâ€s 76. After a strong 161-run stand, Pakistan slumped from 163-1 to 199-5 as spinners Senuran Muthusamy and Simon Harmer triggered a collapse. Mohammad Rizwan (62 not out) and Salman Agha (52 not out) then steadied the innings with an unbroken 114-run partnership on a spin-friendly pitch. Haq, returning to Test cricket after 2023, said Pakistan aimed to surpass 400. South Africaâ€s bowlers fought back but missed key chances, with Harmer expecting more spin on day two of the World Test Championship fixture.
Former Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl is reportedly the new favourite, but there appears to be no consensus about who Rangers should turn to next.
Heart of Midlothian’s Derek McInnes, St Mirren’s Stephen Robinson, Livingston’s David Martindale, former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez, Coventry City’s Frank Lampard, former caretaker Barry Ferguson, St Johnstone’s Simo Valakari, former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Gary O’Neil, former Everton manager Sean Dyche, ex-Aberdeen boss Neil Warnock, Marco Rose, formerly of RB Leipzig, Bodo/Glimt’s Kjetil Knutsen, Shanghai Port’s Kevin Muscat… take your pick.
Graeme: I’m worried what message Gerrard’s decision will send to other potential interested potential candidates and fans. Is it about available funds not being there for strengthening the squad? I’d love to see Benitez come, but I suspect another second-rate manager is on the cards.
Mark: Why not look nearer to home – Stephen Robinson or David Martindale? Both solid performance. Gerrard left, so he should not have had the chance to come back. Or, if you want top notch, Rafael Benitez is free.
David: I am glad he turned it down. Never forgiven him for leaving like he did last time, nor will I ever. Danny Rohl is the man for me.
Donald: Not to keen on Steven Gerrard coming back, plus Russell Martin has ruined the team as he brought in too many duds. Derek McInnes was my favourite, but it won’t happen this time round.
Kenny: I’m sure Gerrard will return as Rangers boss one day. It looks like financial restraints are too much for him at this time, which is fair enough. However, the Rangers directors need to get it right this time. We need someone with experience and a proven track record.
Jeff: If Lampard, McInnes or Ferguson are not announced, it’s going to be Groundhog Day, but it’ll be the board as well as Stewart and Thelwell who will come under pressure this time.
Douglas: Simo Valakari would me my top choice. He has and is proving his ability in Scotland at St Johnstone with an enjoyable brand of football. Rangers should give him the opportunity before another club from England or Europe steps in.
Edward: Barry and Neil [McCann] and Billy [Dodds] and Allan [McGregor] should be back as soon as possible. They did well in difficult circumstances last season.
Martin: Gary O’Neil is a good person.
Tam: Derek McInnes or Barry Ferguson are the only two that know Rangers and Scottish football.
Nigel: Deflated. I think he would given everyone an immediate lift. Any manager we appoint now from the current names suggested would involve a settling in period trying to win over sceptics, which is how Martin started. McInnes or Ferguson for me.
Susi: They need to appoint someone who is not just in it for the money. They need to have a bit of passion about the club.
Frank: Never wanted Gerrard back. Said he wants to return to management with a club expected to win trophies as he believes that suits him. That’s why he left for Aston Villa, then the Arab League – really? Should never have been considered. Potter is available and, given a five-year deal and left to get on with it, would be successful.
Guy: Good decision by Gerrard. The players are poor, don’t like criticism and the fans toxic and no sort of leadership from the owners. I like Rangers, but if you are a progressive manager, you don’t touch. The people who sort the club out in respect of managers are Dyche or Neil Warnock – they need strong leaders who won’t take crap from over-rated players.
Ruaridh: I’m astonished that nobody seems to be mentioning Stephen Robinson for the Rangers vacancy. He knows Scottish football inside out and has always produced good footballing teams (and encouraged young talent) without having huge amounts of money to spend. He’s just 10 minutes down the road too! We don’t need a high-profile manager. We just need a good manager and Stephen Robinson is exactly that.
Peter: Surprised. Disappointed but certainly not gutted. For me, Derek McInnes was and remains the clear number one choice, so hopefully Rangers now push the boat out to get him. Possibly a blessing in disguise.
John: I never understood the desperation to get Gerrard in. His profile was the only aspect, because I do think they need a big character/name. Rohl is a gamble. They need a Lampard or Southgate to come in.
William: I’m in the minority. I’m glad as it took him three years to win a title. We need a Graeme Souness -type manager who won’t let players just turn up to get their huge salaries. A hard, experienced pro.
David: I have said all along that Barry Ferguson and his staff is a natural selection to be manager. He has the commitment, the passion the respect of players and fans and the ability to mould a successful team to challenge Celtic.
Ally: What they should have done in the first place and try get Derek McInnes. If he doesn’t want to leave Hearts, it’s got to be Barry with his same team again. They will set us up properly and go back to what Rangers used to be and have a strong Scottish base who know the league and the pressure playing for Rangers will bring.
Bill: If Ange Postecoglou is sacked at Nottingham Forest, Rangers would be mad not to take him on board. He has a fantastic proven record in Scotland and is a brilliant tactician and man-manager. Would the owners be brave enough?
Boaby: Personally I would go for Marco Rose, although there is no guarantee he would be interested. The obvious alternative is Mr McInnes, who had Walter Smith’s endorsement, which is more than good enough for me.
John: I’m actually glad Gerrard turned down Rangers. He’s not what Rangers need. It’s understandable to want to go back to the guy that last won something for the club. But he didn’t take the club forward. Steve Cooper can and would take Rangers forward. Yet he’s never been considered or even linked to the position.
Chris: So glad Gerrard is not coming back. Let him go somewhere else to try to get his mojo back. Only one trophy winner in the names being banded about. Appoint Kevin Muscat now please and don’t consider the other mediocre “did well from limited resources or staved off relegation” candidates please.
Euan: Don’t believe the statement for a minute. If timing wasn’t right, why commit to the talks in the first place. Senior exec team at Rangers are displaying a concerning lack of football knowledge, fishing in a small pool of the footballs’ unemployed/recently sacked. Why not be bold and try and tempt Kjetil Knutsen from Bodo/Glimt or someone else who is actually currently doing a good job?
Callum: Whilst it would have been good to see Stevie back, we need a manager with experience to turn the squad around. So long as it is not another Martin-esque appointment like Rohl.
Ian: I think Rangers should seek out Billy Davies for their next manager. He has a good record as a manager and was a good player for Rangers and knows what it means to play for them.
Colorado head coach Deion Sanders was unhappy to learn of the Big 12’s rules against rushing the field following his team’s 24-17 upset of No. 22 Iowa State.
The home crowd celebrated the victory by running onto the playing surface, which will draw a fine from the conference.
“How is it $50,000 for rushing the field?” Sanders said in his postgame press conference. “Wow. Shoot. I’m sorry. Wow, fifty grand.”
Still, Coach Prime said that “I absolutely love” to see Colorado students running out of their seats in jubilation and that the automatic fine “ain’t right.”
The Hall of Fame cornerback called the result “kind of vital” for his previously 2-4 squad.
“Your season could go this way or that way. And the most frustrating part about it is that we’re good,” he told reporters. “And I know this sounds crazy, especially when you say the record aloud, but we’re good, we haven’t really gotten our butts kicked. I take a good whooping. I grew up taking a good whooping, so I don’t mind that, but when we’re losing it with self-inflicted wounds, it bothers you.
“But today, right before we completed that third down pass [on the final drive], we said, guys, this is it. This is game. We get this first down, we’re gonna win. We don’t, we can put it on the defense. Anything can happen. They had two or three timeouts at the time, so it was gonna be tough, but we got it. We persevered.”
A three-yard touchdown pass from Kaidon Salter to Joseph Williams put the Buffs ahead 21-17 in the third quarter, and Alejandro Mata added a 29-yard field goal with 5:13 left in the contest.
Iowa State had three opportunities in the fourth quarter to either reclaim the lead or tie the score.
Rocco Becht threw an interception on a 3rd-and-goal from the Coloado 7-yard line at the 13:29 mark. The Cyclones’ next possession ended in a turnover on downs, and their last drive culminated in a punt.
Colorado also kept the Iowa State offense off the field for the final 3:48. A critical 38-yard completion to Williams from Salter on 3rd-and-16 effectively iced the game.
Colorado’s outlook is much different at 3-4 than it would’ve been at 2-5.
Matching last year’s nine wins will require running the table in the regular season and then winning a bowl game. Three victories from five games will at least guarantee bowl eligibility for the second straight season, something the Buffs haven’t achieved since 2005.
No. 15 Michigan’s three-game win streak came to an end on Saturday night, falling to USC by the final score of 31-13 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The Wolverines struggled offensively, as freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood finished 15-of-24 for 207 yards and two touchdowns to go along with an interception.
Fans questioned the job security of Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore after the loss.
The Wolverines trailed 7-0 at the end of the first quarter, but tied the game in the second after Underwood connected with Donaven McCulley for an eight-yard touchdown.
While the Trojans found the end zone later in the quarter to take a 14-7 lead at halftime, Moore’s squad still remained within striking distance.
Michigan’s offense couldn’t find any type of rhythm early in the second half, as its three third-quarter drives ended with two punts and an interception.
The Wolverines also experienced issues defensively, with USC quarterback Jayden Maiava finishing 25-of-32 for 265 yards and two touchdowns while getting picked off once.
The Trojans ended the game with 489 total yards as a team, scoring 17 points in the second half and extinguishing any hope of a Michigan comeback.
USC’s rushing attack was also dominant in the victory, as King Miller picked up a season-high 158 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries. The Trojans amassed 224 yards on the ground overall.
It was a surprising result against a Michigan defense that allowed just 77.0 rush yards per game entering the contest, the third-best mark in the Big Ten.
As for the Wolverines’ offense, they only picked up 17 first downs in the contest and converted a mere two of nine opportunities on third down.
USC now sits at 5-1 with the win, while Michigan fell to 4-2.
Deion Sanders and the unranked Colorado Buffaloes defeated No. 22 Iowa State 24-17 at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado, on Saturday.
Colorado improved to 3-4 on the season with their first Big 12 win, moving to 1-3 in conference play. Iowa State fell to 5-2 overall and 2-2 in the Big 12.
Sanders continued to stick with senior quarterback Kaidon Salter, who entered Saturday’s game with seven touchdowns and four interceptions on 901 yards, after briefly turning to sophomore Ryan Staub in Weeks 2 and 3 following a Week 1 loss.
Salter completed 16-of-25 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with Joseph Williams (128 yards) and Omarion Miller (82 yards) for scores. Running back Micah Welch also added a touchdown.
Colorado’s win over the ranked team thrilled Buffs fans as the program continues to build momentum this season.
The first quarter was a struggle offensively for both teams, with Colorado limited to two three-and-outs before Welch capped the quarter with a touchdown run to give the Buffs a 7-0 lead.
Iowa State responded in the second quarter, grabbing their first points off a field goal before adding a touchdown later in the quarter. The Cyclones held Colorado scoreless on a missed 57-yard field goal at the half to take a 10-7 lead into the break.
Unlike the first quarter, the third quarter was all offense, featuring three possessions that each resulted in a score.
Salter connected with Miller on a 70-yard touchdown pass, then found Williams for another score, adding 14 points to the board. Iowa managed to score on their lone possession of the quarter, sandwiched between Colorado’s two touchdowns. The Buffs led 21-17 entering the final quarter.
Iowa’s Rocco Becht threw an interception early in the fourth quarter, and Colorado added a field goal with 5:13 remaining to extend their lead to a touchdown. The score would hold at 24-17 in favor of the Buffs.
Colorado will head into a bye week before traveling to face the Utah Utes on Oct. 25.
Triple H was greeted with an interesting chant from fans attending the WWE Crown Jewel post-show in Perth on Saturday.
The live crowd standing behind hosts Big E, Peter Rosenberg, and Jackie Redmond chanted “We want Edge†at Triple H, referencing AEWâ€s Adam Copeland. They even sang Copelandâ€s theme music. As Triple Hâ€s appearance on the panel continued, fans also chanted for Batista, MJF, and called for WrestleMania to be brought to Australia.
Cena and Adam Copeland have paid tribute to each other in recent matches, with Cena using Copeland’s spear in a match against Sami Zayn on SmackDown, and Copeland paying tribute to Cena at AEW All Out.
Triple H on AJ Styles vs. John Cena at WWE Crown Jewel
Triple H was asked about Cena vs. Styles at Crown Jewel and responded that he saw the match as “a love letter to professional wrestling.”
“It was incredible. You hear this sometimes said in this business, it was a love letter to professional wrestling and I really believe that. Two of the most decorated performers, two of the greatest performers of a generation, both kind of coming to the end now.”
“For both of them to go out there, perform at this level, do what they did, and put on just a massive tribute to what we all love to do, get to do, or get to watch, it was just incredible.”
Jackie Redmond added that the match turned many people backstage “into little kids” watching it.
Triple H was asked about the amount of yellow John Cena t-shirts in the crowd for the show, with Rosenberg mentioning it looked like they handed the shirts out to the crowd.
“It was incredible. The amount of shirts was unbelievable,” Triple H said. “But that’s a testament to John Cena and who he is as a performer.”
Triple H on Bronson Reed’s win over Roman Reigns
Big E asked Triple H about Bronson Reed’s win over Roman Reigns in the opening match at Crown Jewel.
“For Bronson, this solidifies where he is. He’s in a top spot right now.”
Triple H continued, “He should be exactly where he is. He should be at the top of the food chain. I think the whole world saw a new monster created tonight.”
Triple H also discussed Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, Tiffany Stratton and more. His full appearance on the WWE Crown Jewel post-show is available below:

The WWE Universe made their voices heard loud and clear following John Cena’s victory at WWE Crown Jewel: Perth. During the post-show event, the fans chanted “We want Edge,” making clear who they want Cena to face next. Not satisfied with just the chant, the crowd in Australia sang Metalingus, the theme song used by the Rated-R Superstar.
These chants were mostly ignored by Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, who spoke about the great experience WWE has had in Australia for Crown Jewel. While Levesque eventually highlighted the fans singing, saying the crowd had been “doing this all night long,” he did not make reference to the message the fans were sending.
Edge, aka AEW’s Adam Copeland, is considered by many to be Cena’s greatest rival. In 2006, Edge ended Cena’s first reign as WWE Champion and John would repay the favor mere weeks later.
Copeland recently shared that he’d be leaving AEW programming, and was unclear when, if ever, he would return. While some quickly saw this as a sign of a WWE return for a Cena match, it has since been reported that this is not the case.
John Cena has just four appearances left in his WWE farewell tour, a run that has seen him face rivals like Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, and AJ Styles. And while a Cena-Edge match may never happen again, fans in Australia remain hopeful.
