WWE loses another NXT star, former partner speaks out.

Edris Enofe made his WWE debut on the November 16, 2021, episode of 205 Live. In that same month, he began wrestling in NXT and shared the ring with the likes of Solo Sikoa, Von Wagner, and more. Interestingly, the first person he defeated in the company, Malik Blade, eventually became his tag team partner in the developmental brand. They debuted their partnership in 2022 by reaching the Semi-finals of that year’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

However, their duo was put to a halt after Blade tore his ACL in November. In April this year, Enofe joined the Evolve brand, the same brand that Malik joined when he returned from injury a month later, but announced he was now a solo star, officially breaking up the pair.

Now, Edris Enofe announced that he decided to leave WWE, and despite breaking up with Malik Blade, the latter was still appreciative of their time together. On X (Twitter), the 31-year-old posted a video where he shared that he had departed the Triple H-led company. His former tag team partner then reposted the video and thanked him for everything.

Thank you bro for everything [3 muscle emoji]”

Despite being in Evolve, Edris Enofe continues wrestling on NXT Live. His last WWE match was on the July 25 house show at the Citrus Springs, Florida, where he was defeated by Lince Dorado.

What Did Edris Enofe Say Regarding His WWE Exit?

On his social media, Edris Enofe posted a video sharing that he decided to leave WWE, a decision that he thought about for a while. He thanked the opportunity for being able to wrestle in the company and the people he met in his journey, putting emphasis on the coaches and the fans.

As of today, I will officially be leaving the WWE. This is a decision that I thought about for a very long time and I’m going to trust my gut on this. With that being said, for the past four years, I had the chance and the opportunity to meet and work with incredible people from the wrestlers to the referees, to the creative team, to the medical staff, and of course to all the coaches who put in so much time and effort into making me better. And for that, I will always, always appreciate y’all. And of course, to all the fans who have supported me and stood by my side through all these years, thank you.”
