Every Premier League club can name their line-up an hour and 15 minutes before kick-off.
Clubs can choose to go earlier, of course, with managers like Marcelo Bielsa, for example, choosing to name his teams up to a day in advance. Such a power move.

Arsenal
Arsenal line-up against West Ham United
Trossard starting the last two fixtures – completing a full 90 minutes against Newcastle – suggests that he may drop to the bench for this one, with Ebere Eze moving back to the left flank. Noni Madueke is out, as is Kai Havertz, while Piero Hincapie is closing in on a return after the international break.

John McGinn and Emi Buendia will likely be leant upon once more since they’re in good form, with Evan Guessand given the right-wing spot. Emi Martinez pulled out of the Europa League clash with a calf issue, while Amadou Onana is out with a hamstring issue.
Bournemouth
Bournemouth line-up against Fulham
Alex Scott, David Brooks and Marcus Tavernier could all return from the off, though the rest of the XI looks settled: the big selection decision comes at right-back where Alex Jimenez is battling James Hill.
Brentford
Brentford line-up against Manchester City
Aaron Hickey looks set for the left wing-back spot, Fabio Carvalho and Reiss Nelson are closing in on returns and if Andrews selects a back three, Ethan Pinnock and Kristoffer Ajer will battle it out to start.
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton & Hove Albion line-up against Wolverhampton Wanderers
Ferdi Kadioglu could move forward from full-back, while Yankuba Minteh is capable on either wing – with Danny Welbeck firing a brace last week, however, it’s likely that he earns a start ahead of Georginio Rutter behind him.
Burnley
Burnley line-up against Aston Villa
Jacob Bruun Larsen could miss out again – Kyle Walker may continue on the right of the five rather than as a right-sided centre-back as a result.
Chelsea
Chelsea line-up against Liverpool
There are serious problems in defence at Stamford Bridge with Tosin Adarabioyo and Wesley Fofana doubts to add to Levi Colwill’s long-term injury and Trevoh Chalobah’s suspension: Josh Acheampong is likely to partner Benoit Badiashile at centre-back as a result.
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace line-up against Everton
Yeremy Pino and Ismaila Sarr both started against Liverpool and could do once more, with neither playing the full 90 against Dynamo Kyiv midweek, with Daichi Kamada another option behind Jean-Philippe Mateta – who’s been called up to the French national team squad this week.
Everton
Everton line-up against Crystal Palace
Manager David Moyes will likely stick to a similar template, with Charly Alcaraz a possibility in Dewsbury-Hall’s absence.
Fulham
Fulham line-up against Bournemouth
Adama Traore may lead the line as a result: record buy Kevin hasn’t gotten up to speed yet and Josh King is keeping Emile Smith Rowe out of the side.
Leeds United
Leeds United line-up against Tottenham Hotspur
Boss Daniel Farke could well name an unchanged XI for the fourth successive match, as a result.
Liverpool
Liverpool line-up against Chelsea
Andrew Robertson may come in for Milos Kerkez, while once again, there’s a question of the Wirtz-Szoboszlai axis: if manager Arne Slot fields both, either Dominik Szoboszlai plays at right-back and Wirtz at no.10, or Szoboszlai plays no.10 and Wirtz moves to the left. Cody Gakpo and Conor Bradley are serious options to both return, however, given the big-money German’s disappointing form.
Manchester City
Manchester City line-up against Brentford
Nico Gonzalez may still anchor, but the rest of the team is settled: Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden are rotating between one another, Jeremy Doku has looked impressive and in defence, Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol have struck up a decent partnership together.
Manchester United
Manchester United line-up against Sunderland
Question marks remain at right wing-back and in defence, though the Portuguese may have to bring in Amad Diallo since Noussair Mazraoui is out. Tyrell Malacia has been brought back into the fold and may be an option in the squad, too.
Newcastle United
Newcastle United line-up against Nottingham Forest
Lewis Hall and Dan Burn are both options at left-back, Anthonies Elanga and Gordon impressed in attack in midweek and the settled midfield will likely continue with Jacob Ramsey out, too.
Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest line-up against Newcastle United
Nicolo Savona may have to be called upon, with Oleksandr Zinchenko suffering from a groin issue now, too.
Sunderland
Sunderland line-up against Manchester United
Arthur Masuaku struggled against Nottingham Forest, with Lutsharel Geertruida showing himself to be a solid option defensively in his half-hour last week. The Black Cats may look to that combination again at Old Trafford, with Enzo Le Fee a possibility either in attack or in midfield.
Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur line-up against Leeds United
In midfield, Rodrigo Bentancur and Joao Palhinha may continue – though Thomas Frank could opt for Lucas Bergvall deeper, Xavi Simons centrally and Brennan Johnson from the left flank.
West Ham United
West Ham United line-up against Arsenal
Aaron Wan-Bissaka may return for this one, though James Ward-Prowse faces an uncertain future since he was omitted entirely from Espirito Santo’s first squad.
Wolverhampton Wanderers
Wolverhampton Wanderers line-up against Brighton & Hove Albion
There are no known absentees other than Leon Chiwome, with a full squad for Wolves to choose from.
One of AEW’s fastest rising stars is expected to miss the remainder of 2025 due to an injury. During the September 27, edition of AEW Collision, Hologram was attacked by TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher following a cryptic video message from Hologramâ€s storyline rival, Clon.
On X, Tony Khan shared that Hologram will likely miss the remainder of the year. While Khan didn’t go into specifics, he shared that Hologram has “significant injuries.” Hologram had been set to challenge Fletcher on Dynamite, but that match will have to be changed.
Get well soon, @AEWHologram!
After an unprovoked attack backstage at #AEWCollision tonight by TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher,
Hologram has significant injuries.Weâ€re all cheering for Hologram + wishing him the best in his recovery. Sadly, Hologram likely is out the rest of 2025.
— Tony Khan (@TonyKhan) September 28, 2025
Since debuting in July 2024, AEW has built Hologram, who remains undefeated in singles and tag team matches. This is his latest significant injury for Hologram in AEW, as he previously suffered an ankle injury at WrestleDream in October 2023.
This injury also raises questions as to what’s next for Clon, who will now either need to find a new storyline, or wait until Hologram is recovered. Hologram is the latest high-profile name to be on the injury list, joining the likes of Dustin Rhodes, Buddy Matthews, Nick Wayne, and Wardlow.
Whatever comes next, it won’t be until Hologram is fully healed. We here at SEScoops would like to send Hologram all the best on his recovery.
Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan were called by the International Cricket Council for questioning over alleged provocations displayed at the 2025 Asian Cup between India and Pakistan. The hearing was conducted by match referee Richie Richardson at the Pakistan team hotel, where both players appeared with manager Naveed Akram Cheema and submitted written responses.
Rauf was accused of mimicking plane crashes after dismissing Sanju Samson and making a “6-0†gesture towards Indian fans. Reports said this was linked to Pakistanâ€s claim of downing Indian jets during a past standoff. Rauf told the ICC hearing that the gesture meant nothing and was not aimed at India.
Farhan celebrated his half-century by pretending to fire a gun with his bat. He defended himself by saying it was a traditional Pashtun celebration and also pointed out that Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni had done similar gestures in the past. Dhoni once held his bat like a rifle after a century in 2005, and Kohli mimicked a gunshot celebration in IPL 2024.
The ICC hearing for both players took place in Dubai on September 26, 2025. Sources said Rauf is likely to be fined for abusive language and aggressive gestures. Farhan pleaded not guilty.
Why did BCCI file a complaint against Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan?
In the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 match against India, Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan made gestures that led the BCCI to file an official complaint against them to the ICC. Haris Rauf mocked India by gesturing as if planes were being brought down, a reference many linked to Pakistanâ€s military claims. He also hurled abuses at Indian openers Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma while bowling.
Sahibzada Farhan celebrated his half-century by using his bat like a machine gun, pretending to fire shots. He later said it was a spontaneous celebration and that he did not care how people interpreted it. Both players†actions were called “provocative†by the BCCI, and they were summoned for an ICC hearing. They now face possible sanctions under the ICC Code of Conduct.

WWE and TNA are moving forward into a new chapter of their historic working alliance. As a highly-anticipated creative program kicks off, new details are being leaked on just how complex plans are.
Shawn Michaels and Carlos Silva led their brands into another battle on Tuesday’s live NXT episode. The 12-minute main event saw NXT Champion Oba Femi defend his title against fellow WWE talent Trick Williams, who also had his TNA World Championship on the line. The referee called the match when TNA’s Mike Santana, who was on commentary, got into it with Williams at ringside.
For days there had been talk of another massive interpromotional brawl, which was fueled by TNA wrestlers sitting in the crowd for Tuesday’s episode. The competition hit the ring after the NXT vs. TNA title match ended in a No Contest, and this emptied the locker-room as male and female stars from both companies began brawling while the crowd went wild.
Several TNA wrestlers were also seen backstage throughout Tuesday’s show. The company was represented by Eric Young, Matt Cardona, Moose, Frankie Kazarian, Cedric Alexander, The IInspiration, Steve Maclin, Steph De Lander, Mance Warner, Lei Ying Lee, Xia Brookside, Zachary Wentz, and Victoria Crawford.
Michaels made it known that the war is not over. WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Development shared a post-show clip from behind-the-scenes.
“This doesn’t end here @ThisIsTNA. #WeAreNXT,” Shawn Michaels wrote.

The warning from Michaels fueled speculation on WWE sending a crew of Superstars to TNA’s Impact tapings. Now word is that the NXT vs. TNA storyline will be a major part of the build to the 21st Bound For Glory pay-per-view, which is scheduled for Sunday, October 12 in Lowell, MA at the Tsongas Center.
WWE Has Big Plans For NXT vs. TNA
The NXT vs. TNA invasion angle kicked off to major buzz this month, and sources are now revealing how this storyline will be a longterm program involving top talents from both brands. Fightful Select adds that the creative direction is set to continue well through Bound For Glory.
NXT is set to have “an accelerated presence” on WWE programming, apparently to help with buzz for the TNA invasion angle. WWE brought several familiar faces, and notable names, to NXT this week, including talents that have not worked the NXT-TNA partnership until now. While there are some wrestlers that WWE officials do not want featured, there is talk of using some former Superstars or legends, including The Hardys.
Fans recently noticed how TNA does not have a TV taping scheduled for the week after Bound For Glory, but they do have three Impact tapings scheduled for November 13-15 at a venue to be named in Orlando, Florida. The latest report from backstage is that this scheduling is not an accident as it will factor into the NXT vs. TNA storyline going well through Bound For Glory.
Sources could not confirm what is planned, but it was noted that we could see “something unconventional or different” for TNA TV tapings coming out of Bound For Glory. In regards to rumors of TNA taping at the WWE Performance Center, it was said that the dates would not be listed on ticketing websites this early, if that is the plan.

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — President Donald Trump isn’t expected to arrive at Bethpage Black for the opening day of the Ryder Cup until later Friday, a decision organizers hope will eliminate long security delays that plagued the US Open men’s tennis final in New York earlier this month.
Trump watched Carlos Alcaraz defeat Jannik Sinner in four sets from Rolex’s suite inside Arthur Ashe Stadium on Sept. 7. With extra security in place, the starting time of the match was delayed 37 minutes. Thousands of fans were still in security lines to get into the arena when the match started.
The PGA of America is hoping to get final clarification about Trump’s plans from the White House in the next 24 hours, a spokesman told ESPN.
PGA of America CEO Derek Sprague previously confirmed that the governing body invited Trump to the Ryder Cup “a number of weeks ago.”

The first match of the opening foursomes (alternate shot) session on Friday is scheduled for 7:10 a.m. ET. A fourball (best ball) session of four matches is scheduled to start at 12:25 p.m. ET.
World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler told reporters on Tuesday that, as far as he knew, Trump wasn’t scheduled to speak to the U.S. team before the start of the Ryder Cup.
“The president is kind of funny,” Scheffler said. “He loves the game of golf. He loves supporting golfers, and I get a call or a text from him sometimes after wins. He just loves the game of golf, and he’s one of those guys when you’re around him, he does such a good job of, like, feeding confidence into everybody around him.
“I don’t think he has any plans to address us as a team, but I’m sure if things go well, we’ll hear from him this week.”
Trump’s organization owns several golf courses around the world, so it’s not surprising that he’ll attend the first Ryder Cup to take place in the New York area.
“I’m deeply honored that the president of the United States is going to come support our team at the Ryder Cup,” U.S. team captain Keegan Bradley said. “I think anytime you can be around a current president is a pretty phenomenal thing, but when you’re representing your country at a place like Bethpage Black in New York, having the president there to support you is something that is just absolutely incredible. I’m really grateful to him for doing that for us.”
Bradley indicated that Trump might be standing at the first tee once he arrives at the Black Course.
“I really look forward to what that first tee is going to be like with the president on the tee,” Bradley said. “I think this first tee at Bethpage is going to be a sporting event to remember across any sport, and then you add on the president of the United States standing there, I really think it’s going to be something that everyone will remember forever.”
Stephen Curry might not be the only member of his family in the Golden State Warriors backcourt next season.
NBA insider Marc Stein reported Monday that “there is a strong expectation leaguewide” that Seth Curry will eventually sign with the Warriors and take one of the six remaining open roster spots.
Stein noted Al Horford, De’Anthony Melton, Gary Payton II, Will Richard and Jonathan Kuminga are expected to take the other five spots.
Adding veterans such as Horford and Seth Curry to a roster that already includes Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler is further indication the Warriors are in win-now mode as they chase a fifth ring during the Curry-Green era.
The connection to Seth is not a new one either, as ESPN’s Anthony Slater reported in July there was “mutual interest” in place.
Seth Curry is not nearly as accomplished as his legendary brother when it comes to on-the-court accolades, but he is a dangerous three-point shooter in his own right. In fact, he led the NBA in three-point percentage (45.6) last season when he was playing for the Charlotte Hornets.
The Duke product has bounced around to the Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks, Portland Trail Blazers, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets and Hornets throughout his career and has largely been a journeyman without a permanent home.
That stands in stark contrast to Stephen, who has been with the Warriors his entire career.
Adding Seth will only further stress opposing defenses, who will have to account for yet another shooter all while collapsing on Stephen and Butler as the primary playmakers. He is the type of shooter who can take full advantage of even the slightest opening, and he will see plenty playing in Golden State’s offense.
Perhaps he can even win the first ring of his career as well.
