Fans didn’t have nice things to say following LA Knight‘s recent SmackDown loss.
The finals of The Last Time Is Now tournament to determine John Cena‘s final WWE opponent finally took place this week on Friday Night SmackDown. The last two competitors of the contest were LA Knight and Gunther, which was later won by The Ring General after submitting his opponent.
Although the former World Heavyweight Champion is one of the dream opponents many fans have for The Cenation Leader, so is The Megastar. After the victory, fans in attendance expressed displeasure with the result by heavily booing Gunther, and fans on social media also followed this movement, with Triple H‘s decisions getting called out.
Fans Express Displeasure Over Triple H’s Decision To Book LA Knight To Lose Against Gunther On SmackDown
Following the December 5 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, fans were quick to react to LA Knight’s loss, with many of the criticisms being thrown at WWE’s head of creative, Triple H.
WWE needs to get rid of Triple H asap or itâ€s over. This was an absolute disgrace, just ruined LA KNIGHTâ€s career for GUNTHER?!
I agree that it was trash but I hate Gunther & his Boring chops. Triple H truly is a doofus.
Triple H, Management donâ€t listen to the fans. Everyone Everywhere wanted LA Knight. While Gunther is being forced on us! He is a world champion already he didnâ€t need this!
Meanwhile, some fans called out the finish of the match, stating that LA Knight tapping out was just rubbing salt on the wound:
