Becky Lynch’s next challenger for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship has been revealed.
Maxxine Dupri is once again in line to challenge Lynch for the Intercontinental title following the events of Monday’s WWE Raw episode.
Raw GM Adam Pearce approached Dupri in a backstage segment and told Dupri that by virtue of her consecutive victories over Lynch by countout and disqualification, Dupri had earned another title shot.
Dupri agreed to the title match but said that she needed to check in with her mentor to determinie if she was ready for the shot before agreeing to a date for the title bout. Pearce agreed.
Lynch was counted out against Dupri on the October 6 Raw show after walking out on the non-title match. On the October 20 episode, Dupri was granted a title match, and Lynch hit Dupri with the title belt to force the DQ.

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)…
Samoa Joe blew up at “Hangman” Adam Page after they won a six-man tag match on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, noting that Hangman has never defeated him. Hangman, moments later, offered Joe a shot at his AEW World Title later this month on the AEW WrestleDream PPV.
Later on Dynamite, during a backstage interview, Joe said he wasn’t surprised by Hangman’s response. He said there is no misunderstanding between them. He said he’s been so preoccupied by the Death Riders, he lost track of who he is. He said he needs to remind Hangman of who he is. He said he has never defeated him. “On any day that you have ever existed, you have never been greater than me,” he said. He said he is standing in “deep sh–.”
Samoa Joe is a former AEW World Champion. Joe held the title for nearly four months starting on Dec. 30, 2023 through April 21, 2024. Joe was out of action earlier this year after suffering an ankle injury on the set of “Twisted Metal.”
The third-annual AEW WrestleDream takes place on Oct. 18 in St. Louis, Mo. at Chaifetz Arena. Kenny Omega vs. Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Title headlined the first WrestleDream in 2023 and Will Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita headlined the 2024 event.
The only other matches announced so far for WrestleDream are Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin in an I Quit match and Kris Statlander vs. Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Title. The Statlander-Storm match was also set up on Dynamite tonight.

Hologram appeared to have suffered an injury during Saturdayâ€s AEW Collision, forcing a new entrant to take his place in a TNT title match.
During Saturdayâ€s show, Kyle Fletcher attacked Hologram after an El Clon glitch that appeared in a promo backstage. Fletcher ambushed Hologram and left him down after his attack. Unfortunately for the star, it seems like he was injured as a result of the attack and not compete for the TNT title.
During Fletcherâ€s match with Komander later in the show, Tony Schiavone revealed Hologram was hurt. Specifically, he said Hologram suffered a “serious injury,†and that he would be out for “quite a while.†Itâ€s unclear whether or not the injury itself is part of the show or genuine. But from all accounts, it seems like Hologram will be out for some time.
As a result of the injury, AEW announced that the recently returned Orange Cassidy will face off against Fletcher for the TNT Championship on AEW Dynamiteâ€s sixth anniversary show.
