WWE faction The Vision underwent a massive shift last week, with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed seemingly ejecting Seth Rollins from the group via a ferocious beatdown at the end of “WWE Raw.” As a result, it seems likely that both men will take a step up in the company’s hierarchy. Speaking on “Busted Open Radio” in the aftermath of “Raw,” Bully Ray shared his take on whether or not Breakker is ready to become a regular main eventer.

“I never like to see talents jump too far ahead of things, but Bron is one of those very unique talents, so I’m gonna compare him to a couple of guys,” Bully said. “Brock Lesnar. Randy Orton. Kurt Angle.”

Those three performers have more than a few things in common, and Bully believes WWE’s leadership and creative team had a clear idea of what they wanted to do with those wrestlers. He believes the same could be true for Breakker. While there’s a chance that he could stumble and lose the audience, Bully doesn’t think it’s likely in this case, as Breakker has a ton of raw talent.

That being said, Bully showed some hesitation when it comes to the idea of making Breakker one of the company’s top stars right now. One thing that Breakker needs to work on, in Bully’s estimation, is adding some depth to his character.

Though the discussion focused on Breakker, and he was the one who initiated the coup, it’s worth noting that Reed just picked up a victory over Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel days before. Because of that, it seems WWE has significant plans for both Reed and Breakker, and Bully noted that Reed’s Tsunami finisher was used in tandem with Breakker’s spear to put Rollins out of commission.Â

The Bron Breakker rocket to orbit and beyond is in place as WWE seeks emergency options in the wake of the Seth Rollins injury.Â

Look no further than Breakker’s rushed-feeling heel turn, spearing Rollins and taking the stable for his lonesome now that Rollins will miss a big chunk of time.Â

This wasn’t a typical WWE rushedfeeling, though. That word usage normally implies a negative atop the whole thing. This was rushedÂin a good way, with most fans likely more than happy to see this development happen so quickly.

This shocking spear out of the way, WWE can get to the good stuff by getting Breakker in the ring with one man:Â

Why not match the speed and lethality of each Breakker spear by keeping the pace of this booking? Why waste time on other feuds and risk ruining the momentum and rise of the next top WWE star by messing around with other stuff?

The mind simply wanders back to when WWE deployed Lesnar in a strategic way to boost Drew McIntyre to an unforgettable company-headlining act during the audience-less pandemic era. He sought out and crushed Lesnar at the Royal Rumble and kept that going for a long time and to this day remains a top dog.Â

WWE following almost that same exact blueprint for Breakker now wouldn’t exactly have fans complaining. Breakker gunning for him at the Royal Rumble and turning it into a ‘Mania feud that has a chance of main-eventing is about as no-brainer of an idea as it gets.Â

There’s also the Paul Heyman factor to help it along, especially if Rollins is out of the picture. One of the greatest managers of all time happens to be a snake known to throw out a betrayal or two while jumping ships. Who is to say that doesn’t happen here to especially get fans behind Breakker?

Heyman happens to be the best guy capable of squeaking out this proposed story for the longest stretch of time throughout the winter months, too. Getting stuck between these two and eventually picking a side would make for a fantastic “B” storyline behind the Bloodline stuff going into ‘Mania next year.Â

On the topic of Lesnar, it’s not like he’s got much else going on, anyway. WWE gave him that weird little squash match win over John Cena to, for whatever reason, really impress ESPN audiences during the company’s first PLE broadcast on that streaming platform.Â

Now, Lesnar should be strictly used to put over the next generation of stars. We’ve all seen in the past Cena talking about not wasting Lesnar’s Streak-ending win over Undertaker in subsequent feuds.Â

That logic applies here, too. Lesnar just crushed Cena in one of his final appearances ever. WWE can’t waste that by having him pick up more wins or pop up in a PLE-opener or whatever. The next match for the part-timer needs to be huge and, ideally, putting over Breakker big in front of a more casual ESPN-like audience at WrestleMania would be the perfect use of the rub from decimating Cena in one of the GOAT’s final matches.Â

Some of this just lines up all too well. If Rollins will indeed miss ‘Mania next year due to injury, it sort of backs Breakker and his stable into a corner, anyway.

WWE has a deep roster and there are plenty of ways they could go to compensate, but pivoting to a crowning arc for Breakker just makes too much sense. The fast rise via betraying Seth into dominating Lensar would make him bulletproof going into what top title he chases in the aftermath.Â

It’s a little easy to forget that Breakker is only 27 years old. At times over the past year, it almost seemed like WWE pumped the proverbial brakes with him a bit while letting him get some more reps.Â

But there’s something to be said for this break-glass-in-case-of-emergency scenario. WWE tends to do its best booking when shoved into a corner due to injury or otherwise, so there’s reason to believe that in-the-fire booking could produce something special on short notice here.Â

The main-event scene needs it, too. Rollins is out. CM Punk is, frankly, older. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns feel closer and closer to part-time status while pursuing non-wrestling stuff. There are a swell of purgatory guys like LA Knight and Jey Uso, but they feel a tier below. Breakker feels near the top of that tier already and just needs a small boost.Â

Breakker-Lesnar has been one of those what if? Requested matches from fans, anyway. Given the circumstances, getting right to it by slowly building it up until ‘Mania next year is just too compelling an opportunity to pass up right now.

This isn’t what WWE originally had planned, no doubt. But Rollins exiting the stage opens up getting real, meaningful usage out of Lesnar while authoring a run for Breakker that can go down in modern pro wrestling history, if done well, which it should, given the presence of someone like Heyman to help it along.

Cena Winning IC Title Reportedly Being Considered

John Cena broke the all-time record by becoming a 17-time world champion during his retirement tour, but that reportedly may not be the final title reign of his career.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t WrestleTalk), WWE has had discussions about Cena beating Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series next month.

Survivor Series is being held in Mysterio’s hometown of San Diego, which would add to the enormity of the match. Also the Intercontinental Championship is essentially the one major title Cena has never held.

There is no heel who fans love to hate more than Dirty Dom, which would undoubtedly make for a fun atmosphere.

Also, Cena has never faced Mysterio in a televised one-on-one match, and since Dominik has the makings of a potential future world champion, he makes plenty of sense as one of Cena’s final opponents.

Cena announced last year that he would retire from in-ring competition at the end of 2025, and his last match is scheduled for the Dec. 13 Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C.

Meltzer (h/t Felix Upton of Ringside News) recently reported that WWE is planning to hold a tournament to determine Cena’s final opponent with Gunther being the likely winner.

Gunther is arguably the greatest IC champ in WWE history, as he holds the record for the longest continuous reign.

Meltzer noted that Cena could potentially put the Intercontinental Championship on the line in a retirement match against Gunther, providing an already-huge bout with even higher stakes.

WWE Reportedly Anticipating Jericho Retirement Tour

There is reportedly a belief within WWE that Chris Jericho will eventually be back with the company.

According to Meltzer (h/t WrestlePurists), the expectation is that Jericho will return to WWE in order to have a retirement tour and get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Jericho is currently still with AEW, but he hasn’t been seen on AEW programming since April after he dropped the ROH World Championship to Bandido at Dynasty.

In 2022, Joe Otterson of Variety reported that Jericho signed a contract extension with AEW that would run through December 2025. Assuming the deal didn’t have any time added or get extended, that suggests Jericho could be in WWE as soon as January.

The Royal Rumble is scheduled for Jan. 31, 2026, in Saudi Arabia, making the Rumble an obvious return target for Jericho should he sign with WWE.

Jericho, 54, originally signed with WWE in 1999 and remained with the company on and off until 2018.

He shocked the wrestling world in 2019 when he announced he had signed with AEW, and he went on to become the inaugural AEW world champion and one of the most successful stars in company history.

However, Jericho will likely always be best remembered as a WWE guy, having held six world titles, nine intercontinental titles and seven tag team titles in the company.

WWE has given Cena a memorable retirement tour this year, and something similar could be on the horizon for AJ Styles, who announced that he intends to retire next year.

Jericho is undoubtedly deserving of similar treatment, and WWE would likely be the ideal place for him to ride off into the sunset.

Reported Breakker, Reed Plans Before Rollins Injury

Before Seth Rollins reportedly got injured at Crown Jewel last weekend, WWE reportedly had plans in place for Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

According to Meltzer (h/t WrestleTalk), plans called for Breakker and Reed to win the World Tag Team Championships.

It is unclear if a run as tag champs could still be in their future, but Breakker and Reed shocked the wrestling world on this week’s episode of Raw by attacking Rollins and breaking up The Vision.

Breakker hit Rollins with a spear out of nowhere before urging Reed to make a choice. Without much hesitation, Reed hit Rollins with a Tsunami, and Paul Heyman raised the arms of Breakker and Reed, while Breakker held up Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship belt.

At Crown Jewel, Rollins faced and defeated WWE champion Cody Rhodes to win the Crown Jewel Championship, but he appeared to injure his arm on a coast-to-coast headbutt during the match.

On Tuesday, Meltzer (h/t WrestleTalk) reported that Rollins was set to undergo shoulder surgery “as soon as possible” and would be out of action for “several months.”

That seemingly pushed Breakker and Reed into even more prominent roles, and it is possible one or both of them could vie for the world title with Rollins out.

A tag team title reign for Breakker and Reed could still be meaningful and entertaining, though, as it would allow them to further assert their dominance over the Raw roster.

Bron Breakker decided to take a quick nap while Jey Uso was yeeting with the fans at a live event.

The WWE Superstars are currently in Japan for a couple of SuperShow events. The first show took place earlier today at the Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo arena, and the next one will take place tomorrow at the same venue.

The card for todayâ€s show featured eight matches, including a tag team contest that saw Jey Uso and Shinsuke Nakamura take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The babyfaces received a great response from the crowd as they made their way to the ring, and Jey Uso was yeeting with the fans as usual.

However, a clip shared by a fan on X/Twitter showed Bron Breakker hilariously mocking Jey Uso by taking a nap in the ring while the latter was engaging with the crowd.

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed Turned On Seth Rollins On WWE Raw

Bron Breakker shocked the world on the latest episode of WWE Raw when he turned on Seth Rollins and persuaded Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman to do the same.

Breakker joined forces with Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman on Raw after WrestleMania 41. Bronson Reed also joined their ranks in May 2025, and the group came to be known as The Vision.

While the faction was on a dominant run on Raw with Seth Rollins as the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, things took an unexpected turn when Bron Breakker speared Rollins on the October 13, 2025, episode of Raw, and got Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman to side with him, exiling The Visionary from The Vision.

While a betrayal angle was inevitable, fans were surprised that WWE pulled the trigger on it very soon. However, recent reports of Seth Rollins suffering a legitimate injury during his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel: Perth could be the reason WWE decided to pull this off.

Plans for a major WWE power move involving Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed have been scrapped—and now we know just how far the original idea was set to go.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE had mapped out a vision where Rollins, Breakker, and Reed—collectively known as The Vision—would dominate RAW with championship gold. Rollins would retain the World Heavyweight Championship, while Breakker and Reed were in line to become WWE World Tag Team Champions.

That entire direction changed after Rollins suffered a shoulder injury at Crown Jewel, an injury that now reportedly requires surgery and could keep him out beyond WrestleMania. As a result, Breakker and Reed officially turned on Rollins during the October 13 episode of RAW, ending their alliance in brutal fashion.

The group was clearly being set up to lead WWEâ€s flagship show, but with Rollins on the shelf, those plans unraveled fast. Breakker has now shifted his focus entirely to singles gold, making a direct statement by holding up the World Heavyweight Title after attacking Rollins.

With one injury shaking up an entire storyline, WWE is now forced to pivot—and fans are left wondering what could have been if The Vision had followed through on their path to dominance.

On the October 13, edition of WWE Raw, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker attacked Seth Rollins, bringing an abrupt end to Rollins’ time with The Vision. This betrayal shocked fans watching the show, and now WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner has shared his two cents.

Taking to X, Steiner, the uncle of Bron Breakker, reacted to his nephew’s actions.

“So let me break it down for all you dummies that donâ€t understand what just happened…..

“You take Seth Rollins — the so-called “Visionary†— and you put him in a ring with Bron Breakker, a Genetic Freak. But what Seth didnâ€t calculate… was the betrayal quotient.

“Now letâ€s do the math:

“Seth thought he had a 100% chance of survival with Bron at his side…

“But what he didnâ€t know is that Bronâ€s got 66 2/3% loyalty when you factor in family bloodlines, and the other 33 1/3% is PURE RAGE.

Fans in the comments were excited to see Steiner once again demonstrate his math skills. When one called Scott a “F’ing Mathematical Genius!” Steiner pointed out that he comes “from a highly educated university,” the University of Michigan. Another praised Steiner’s post as “well explained,” which prompted Scott to ask “Did you expect less?”

Steiner’s post is an obvious nod to his popular ‘Steiner Math’ promo from 2008, in which he guaranteed victory in a triple-threat match at TNA Sacrifice. While Steiner would go on to lose said match, he has since claimed that his reasoning with sound.

With Seth Rollins reportedly out with an injury, albeit one that has many in WWE feeling skeptical, it remains to be seen what’s next for Bron and Bronson Reed. Whatever is to come, Scott Steiner remains interested in his nephew’s next move.

Seth Rollins thought he had his crew locked in—but Bron Breakker shattered that trust in the most brutal way possible.

After a chaotic main event on RAW in Perth, where CM Punk earned the right to challenge Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title, everything unraveled in dramatic fashion. As Punk celebrated his win over Jey Uso and LA Knight, The Vision stormed the ring. Bron Breakker charged in, but instead of targeting Punk, he blindsided LA Knight. Then, after The Vision laid waste to Punk, the twist came—Bron Breakker speared Rollins out of nowhere, turning on his own leader. Bronson Reed then flattened Punk with a Tsunami, and Bron Breakker held the World Heavyweight Title high as Paul Heyman raised the hands of his new wrecking crew.

But the real punch came after RAW—courtesy of Bron Breakkerâ€s uncle, Scott Steiner. Taking to Twitter, the wrestling legend dropped one of his signature Steiner Math promos to explain exactly why Rollins never saw the betrayal coming.

Bron Breakker has taken a big step towards becoming WWE’s next World Heavyweight Champion. After expelling Seth Rollins from The Vision, Breakker has taken control of the situation once again with a statement on the future.

The Dog of RAW was in possession of The Visionary’s World Heavyweight Championship when he left the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia earlier today following a live RAW with Crown Jewel fallout. CM Punk defeated Jey Uso and LA Knight in the RAW main event to earn the next title shot from Rollins, but the celebration was shut down by an onslaught against the babyface trio by Breakker and Bronson Reed, while Paul Heyman looked on, and Rollins directed traffic.

The Visionary seems to be injured, based off photos that emerged after RAW went off the air earlier today. Footage taken inside the RAC Arena for the post-RAW dark segment revealed how Breakker stole Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship. The dark segment also teased a brawl between Bron and Bronson, but they embraced and left with The Wiseman as fans chanted for Punk and seemingly heckled Rollins.

Bron Breakker Issues Statement On The Vision Following WWE RAW

Seth Rollins was booted from The Vision today during RAW in Perth, Western Australia. Now the faction is moving forward with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman, for now. Becky Lynch was recently aligned with her husband’s group, but it’s likely that the Women’s Intercontinental Champion also is no longer welcome as she prepares for an upcoming title defense.

The Dog of RAW took to Instagram after today’s explosive RAW with his first words since booting The Visionary from The Vision. Breakker made a big statement on The Vision moving forward, and even attached a few exclusive photos from RAW.

“The Vision has never been more clear [rocket emoji],” Bron Breakker wrote with the photos below.

WWE has not confirmed when Punk or Breakker might get a singles shot from Rollins. However, there’s already strong speculation on a Triple Threat, depending on Rollins’ health.

CM Punk Or Bron Breakker, Who Is The True #1 Contender For The WWE World Heavyweight Championship

As it stands, the true #1 contender for the title is CM Punk, irrespective of Breakker’s actions.

While the Unpredictable Bada** made his motives clear, Punk deserves it considering his longstanding rivalry with The Visionary. While the storyline does get interesting with the involvement of Breakker, who till now was just Rollins’ lackey, WWE must be planning a parallel storyline to make the 27-year-old the true breakout star from the faction.

While many fans have complained that the faction broke up too early, it seems that WWE has just planted the seed for the former Intercontinental Champion’s rise, as immediately giving him a World Title shot and victory gives fans very little payoff, and makes the whole angle seem forced than organically playing out.

The possible way this story could play out is that Rollins and Punk have their title match at Survivor Series: War Games, where Breakker costs The Visionary the title and starts a singles feud with him. Also, it makes sense for him to take out Rollins, who is arguably the more formidable opponent, rather than an aging CM Punk.

Also, a singles feud will help establish Breakker as a main-eventer when he will eventually take on The Second City Saint on the Grandest Stage of Them All. WrestleMania 42, where he could have his crowning moment and truly be cemented as the future of the company.
