There is a certain irony in the news that Golf Channel is bringing back The Big Breakwith help from the YouTube content kings at Good Good.
The irony in question? Primarily that at the time The Big Breakwas in its Golf Channel heyday, most of the Good Good gang wasn’t old enough to watch it.
Still, the news is good for lifelong fans of the show (or more recent fans of one of YouTube golf’s most prominent brands): The Big Breakhas been greenlit by Golf Channel executives to return to audiences in late 2026, and Good Good is at the center of the operation.
According to a press release announcing the return, Golf Channel and Good Goodwill combine to produce a new edition of the longtime reality TV show, with a sponsor’s exemption into next November’s newly announced Good Good Championship (a PGA Tour fall series event) on the line for the winner.
To date, The Big Breakremains Golf Channel’s most notable success in the world of original programming — a reality TV series that ran for a record 23 seasons from 2003 to 2015 and helped birth the careers of several notable golf figures, including Tony Finau. The new edition of the reality show will feature a heavy dose of Golf Channel’s content partners at Good Good golf, the 2-million-subscriber YouTube channel and merchandise monolith. Good Good and Golf Channel signed a content partnership in 2024 that has seen a host of new programming come to the network via the YouTube channel, though to date the partnership has focused more on one-off events than recurring series’ like Big Break.
The new season of the reality TV show will include the YouTube brand in its name — airing under the title of Big Break x Good Good— and will feature Good Good talent as both on-air fixtures and on-camera competitors. Golf Channel personality (and one-time Big Breakcontestant) Blair O’Neal will co-host the show alongside Good Good’s Matt Scharff, while Garrett Clark and Bubbie Broders will serve as non-playing team captains from the YouTube world. Brad Dalke and Sean Walsh — two ex-pros turned content creators for Good Good — will be two of the 12 competitors in the new season of the show, which will take place at Horseshoe Bay Resort near Austin, Texas, not far from the sight of next November’s PGA Tour fall season event.
The announcement marks the latest in a series of falling boundaries between the worlds of YouTube golf and the sport’s establishment, which has recently redoubled its own efforts to appeal to younger and broader audiences. Good Good’s exposure as a brand of well-coiffed, well-trained TV faces has helped its cross-medium exposure through outfits like the “Creator Classic” and more traditional content partnerships like Golf Channel’s.
The upside for both ends of the business is obvious: Golf Channel earns the ability to introduce its programming to a younger and different audience base, while Good Good earns the establishment credibility of Golf Channel and exposure to the network’s own audience. The Big Breakrepresents the marriage of these ideas, and both parties hope, the intersection of an environment where they can both make money.
It is too soon to say if that idea will prove to be a success, but for old-school Golf Channel fans and new-school YouTube fans alike, there’s reason to tune in.
“Stone Cold†Steve Austin has hinted at the return of his podcast.
Itâ€s been almost four years since the Texas Rattlesnake dropped a new episode of the Broken Skull Sessions. The last episode of the famed series aired in August 2022 and featured Charlotte Flair in conversation with the two-time WWE Hall of Famer. Prior to that, he also hosted an audio series, The Steve Austin Show, but he hasnâ€t released a new episode of that show since 2018.
That said, Austin recently shared a promising update about the podcastâ€s future. He posted a couple of throwback photos on Instagram, prompting a fan to ask about a potential return of his podcast.
“When are we getting a new podcast episode Steve?!?â€
“Gimme a couple weeks,†Austin replied.
The Broken Skull Sessions was one of the most-watched wrestling podcasts on the WWE Network and Peacock. However, for undisclosed reasons, it wasnâ€t included in Netflixâ€s lineup when the streaming giant acquired WWEâ€s international broadcast rights. Still, the official WWE Vault channel has been consistently uploading episodes from the series.
The current lineup of WWE podcasts in partnership with Fanatics includes Whatâ€s Your Story with Stephanie McMahon, What Do You Wanna Talk About? with Cody Rhodes, The RAW Recap Show hosted by Megan Morant and Sam Roberts, Six Feet Under with The Undertaker and Michelle McCool, and Logan Paulâ€s IMPAULSIVE.

The Washington Nationals are finalizing a deal to name Paul Toboni their new head of baseball operations, sources told ESPN, tabbing the Boston Red Sox assistant general manager to turn around a team barreling toward its fifth last-place finish in six seasons.
Toboni, 35, is widely regarded as one of the best young executives in baseball after rising from intern to key decision-maker in Boston’s front office.
Though Toboni’s background is in scouting — he moved from intern to area scout, then ascended to assistant scouting director and scouting director — he took on a larger portfolio as vice president of scouting and player development before being named assistant GM for Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow.
The Nationals fired GM Mike Rizzo and manager Dave Martinez in July, six years after their surprise run to a World Series title. Rizzo was replaced on an interim basis by assistant GM Mike DeBartolo, who was in the mix for the permanent job along with Arizona assistant GM Amiel Sawdaye and Cleveland assistant GM Matt Forman.
Toboni, who played collegiate ball at Cal, will inherit a team that at 64-94 is struggling to keep pace in a competitive National League East division that features financial leviathans in Philadelphia and New York as well as a solid Atlanta Braves core and an ascendant Miami Marlins team. The Nationals have a handful of talented young players — chief among them outfielder James Wood, shortstop CJ Abrams and left-hander MacKenzie Gore — but the team’s middling farm system doesn’t foretell a quick turnaround.
The drastic improvement of Boston’s farm system came under Toboni, who was in charge of the draft when they selected outfielder Roman Anthony, shortstop Marcelo Mayer, infielder Kristian Campbell, left-handers Payton Tolle and Connelly Early as well as the prospects sent to the Chicago White Sox in a trade for ace Garrett Crochet.
Shotzi is bringing something spooky to MLW.
Major League Wrestling announced Shotzi will debut “The Graveyard Shift†at MLW Slaughterhouse. The Graveyard Shift is described as a “brand-new, spooky talk show.â€
“Shotzi, known for her punk rock persona, macabre energy, and fearless attitude, will host the show in her own ghoulish fashion. With her eerie charm and over-the-top style, she promises to bring the weird, the wild, and the creepy to center stage,†MLW writes. “The Graveyard Shift with Shotzi will feature a parade of MLWâ€s most bizarre and dangerous grapplers stepping into her haunted domain as guests. Fans can expect spine-chilling surprises and plenty of chaos as Shotzi turns the spotlight into moonlight, giving her guests the fright-night treatment.â€
MLW did not announce who the first guest(s) on the debut segment would be. MLW Slaughterhouse is also set to feature the return of the infamous Chamber of Horrors match.
MLW Slaughterhouse takes place on Saturday, October 4 at Thunder Studios Arena in Long Beach, CA. The event will be presented live on YouTube and on cable on beIN SPORTS. Tickets are available now and start at just $10.
This is just the latest Halloween-themed appearance for Shotzi, who will also make her NWA debut at Samhain 3. The former WWE star is also set to host her own event, House of Horrors, for GCW on October 24.
