“‘Is this all a big work?†Is that what youâ€re asking me, is this a work? Is this a big, elaborate, intricate work where I come back and say ‘surpriseâ€? The answer to that question is, in a sense, yes, this was all one big work. The worst part about it, though, is that itâ€s not the work everybody thought it was because I was the one getting worked.†[H/T: Fightful]

AJ Styles has stated numerous times that he plans to retire in 2026, and one WWE Hall of Famer agrees that itâ€s time The Phenomenal One calls it a career.

On the latest episode of The Hall of Fame Podcast, NXT commentator Booker T spoke about the upcoming retirement of AJ Styles in 2026, stating he believes itâ€s time for the former WWE Champion to wrap it up and call it a career.

“Okay, you know what? Itâ€s time to wrap it up. It is. Itâ€s time,†Booker T said. “For me, I said 40 was going to be my number. And just like AJ, I probably got to 40 and said, ‘Man, Iâ€m still better than all these suckersâ€â€¦ and I pushed it for five more years. For him to have lasted this long, props. Itâ€s time to wrap it up, man, and live on the fruits of the labor. Seriously, he doesnâ€t have to do anything ever again.

Despite his impending retirement, Booker T believes Styles will remain in the wrestling industry because he has a great mind and a lot to offer to the business.

One thing about AJ Styles, too, heâ€s one of those carpenters that weâ€re going to need in this business for many, many years. So when he retires, heâ€s still going to have a job doing something in this business, I would imagine, just because heâ€s one of those great minds that this business definitely can utilize.†[H/T: WrestlingNews.co]

Big E recently claimed that his WWE career is kind of behind him now.

The former WWE Champion has not competed in the squared circle since March 2022. The ex-New Day member suffered a broken neck on the March 11, 2022, edition of SmackDown, which put his in-ring return in question.

During a recent appearance on Whatâ€s Your Story? With Steph McMahon, Big E talked about how his WWE in-ring career is kind of behind him and feels appreciative of having a good run. He also feels proud of the things he has done during that time.

“Thanks for having me. Itâ€s wild, you told me that earlier. I always think, and Iâ€m not trying to do the woe is me thing. But I, for all the people youâ€ve had on, you know, I always feel like, ‘Why me?†You know my career is kind of behind me,†Big E said (H/T: Sportskeeda). “Iâ€m very much someone who is appreciative. I think I had a really good career. Very proud of it.â€

The words of the former champion make it clear that he has no regrets about his in-ring career despite the abrupt potential end. However, this isnâ€t the first time Big E has shared his satisfaction with his career. He previously mentioned that he is excited to explore new paths if his in-ring career officially comes to an end.

Mandy Rose was cut from WWE under controversial circumstances in 2022, but believes a return to the promotion would come easily. On her Power Alphas podcast, Rose reflected on her large fanbase years after her WWE career ended.

Itâ€s always good to still be talked about after years. I still love it — itâ€s been three years this year, and you still have such a huge fanbase.”

Rose has yet to wrestle since her WWE exit, and has instead focused on her highly-lucrative subscription content. Despite this, Rose believes the support of fans would make a WWE return an easy process, and won’t rule the idea out.

“It gave me a little hope of like, maybe one day… if I ever wanted to get back in there, I feel like absolutely I could easily get back in there.”

Rose was released after WWE learned of the type of content being shared to her subscribers, much of which WWE felt was too explicit. Rose claimed after being released that WWE never gave her the chance to take down her website before making the decision to cut her.

Despite her unconventional exit, Rose’s interest in a WWE return isn’t one-sided. A year after her release, it was reported that the topic of Rose returning wasn’t off the table within WWE. In June of this year, Rose shared that she was open to a WWE return, adding that she’d love the chance to speak to Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque about a comeback.

Whether Mandy Rose returns to WWE, time will tell. For now, the former NXT Women’s Champion is grateful that there are plenty of fans wanting to see her back in the ring.

Nuno Espírito Santo has said West Hamâ€s players are willing to change and have taken responsibility for the teamâ€s poor form of the past 18 months.

Nuno, the clubâ€s third manager since the departure of David Moyes at the end of the 2023-24 season, is hoping to shift the mood in the dressing room after replacing Graham Potter last weekend. West Ham have been short of leadership and there is an acceptance in the squad that they played a part in Potter losing his job after eight months.

“I find a nice group of people,†Nuno said. “They are starting to realise that we have to change things. If we donâ€t change, things will be the same. They are willing to change. I can see it. So letâ€s embrace it and letâ€s change it.

“It goes from technical, tactical, physical, mentality, respect, communication. Communication is such an important tool for us. We still donâ€t have it fully. It has to be a fair and clear communication that we share. They have accounted themselves responsible and are willing to go.â€

Nuno has had little time to adjust. He does not have his backroom staff yet and the former Nottingham Forest manager is not thinking about what West Ham, 19th before visiting Arsenal on Saturday, can achieve this season. “My task is simple,†Nuno said. “Itâ€s tomorrow.â€

A big concern for Nuno is improving his sideâ€s defending at set pieces. West Ham have shipped eight goals from corners this season – the latest concession came in Nunoâ€s first game, Mondayâ€s 1-1 draw at Everton – and will be under sustained pressure from dead balls against Arsenal. The worry for Nuno is that it becomes a psychological issue.

“It can,†he said. “But we will try to avoid it. The worst thing that can happen is that if an opponent gets a corner we start immediately thinking that we are in trouble. It can become a trauma.â€

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has offered a critical assessment of World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins’s connection with the WWE Universe, stating that he believes Rollins is currently lacking the emotional bond with fans that is necessary to reach the absolute highest levels of superstardom.

Bully compared Rollins to top stars like Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk, arguing that while Rollins is undoubtedly talented, he struggles to draw the same genuine, passionate reactions from the audience. Speaking on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio,Bully Ray broke down what he feels Rollins is missing from his character.

“I always go back to what it truly has to do with, and this is old school 101, emotional connection to an audience. People genuinely love Cody. Children love Cody, thus, the parents love Cody. Roman has a god-like aura to him. You feel like you are amongst royalty when Roman comes out. Plus, he has that Samoan heritage and bloodline, which we respect so much in wrestling, but respect even more in the WWE. Punk, the consummate rebel, the guy who has always been the voice of the voiceless and the peopleâ€s guy. All three of those guys have a unique emotional connection. Emotion, thatâ€s all this f—ing business is about. The emotional manipulation of the fan base and how you can get them to love you or hate you anymore. Thatâ€s it. Seth doesnâ€t have that level of emotion yet, and heâ€s been around for a long time.â€

He then critiqued Rollins’s elaborate attire and presentation, suggesting it makes him appear as if he is trying too hard to connect with the audience.

“Youâ€re not as quick to say ‘is pro wrestler†as you were the other three. That is the microscopic nuance of the emotional connection to Seth, where when you see the get-ups every week, itâ€s almost like heâ€s trying so hard. Forget about how I feel about the suit, Cody wears a suit on the beach. Roman looks like he could be walking into a gym or the grocery store, and Punk looks like your regular everyday guy. They could be wearing those clothes anywhere. Seth is putting on this garb to go stand in the middle of the ring. Heâ€s putting Seth Rollins on on Monday night and taking it off on Tuesday morning.â€

Ric Flair has already cemented his legacy as one of the most decorated stars in the history of WWE. Recently, Flair shared his opinion on a WWE veteran whom he believes never got the push he deserved.

The star in question is William Regal, who is presently serving as the vice-president of Global Talent Development in WWE. In a conversation with Escapist Magazine, Ric was asked who his top technical wrestlers are. Flair called Regal a good technical wrestler, adding that despite being an excellent in-ring performer, Regal really never got the push he deserved.

“Technically. Well, Shawn could be a technical wrestler with The Rockers. They were technically amazing. I respect Marty, but Shawn was in a different league. From day one. Another good technical wrestler is Steve Regal. Very good. Very technical. He never really got the push he deserved. But, Steve is an excellent technical wrestler and, and on top of that, a great guy.â€

Regal was a featured midcard performer in WCW, where he won the companyâ€s Television Championship four times. He had a steady push in WWE as a General Manager and wrestler.

There, he won the Intercontinental, European and WWE Tag Team Championship. He also won the 2008 King of the Ring tournament. However, that run was stopped prematurely as he was suspended for violating the companyâ€s Wellness Policy.

What does Ric Flair think about John Cenaâ€s 17th title victory at WWE WrestleMania 41?

In the same interview, Ric Flair also shared his opinion about the 17x World title victory of John Cena in WWE. Flair and Cena had a record tie as both were 16x World Champions. However, after Cena managed to win the title one more time at Mania 41, he broke Flairâ€s record and set a new bar.

Meanwhile, when asked about Cena in the interview, Ric expressed a positive opinion about the Franchise Player. He said that he loved John Cenaâ€s 17x WWE World title victory. “I love it. I think the world of John.â€

Currently, Ric and Cena have not yet interacted during the Franchise Player WWE retirement tour. It remains unclear if the Game has any plans for this.

A WWE Hall of Famer believes that WrestleMania will be undergoing a major change sooner rather than later.

On the latest episode of Kliq This: The Kevin Nash Podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer spoke about WrestleMania 43 going to Saudi Arabia and how this could eventually lead to multiple WrestleMania events a year.

“Itâ€s like, well, when does America get it? Like, you know, but by them saying theyâ€re going to take the WrestleMania to Saudi Arabia,†Kevin Nash said. “Itâ€s like, and I could see they just changed up the one coming up and went, Oh, by the way, weâ€re not going to Vegas.

“Weâ€re going to Saudi [Arabia]. Theyâ€re giving you two f*cking WrestleManias to prepare for them to go to Saudi… even if thereâ€s 100,000 people that go to WrestleMania and another 100,000 people go to the city… And thatâ€s taken away from the States. Itâ€s still the people that are watching it worldwide, you know. And youâ€ve got it.

“Youâ€ve always—itâ€s a World Wrestling Entertainment for the first f*cking W is world. Itâ€s not US, WWE. And I just look at it, and I say, going to Saudi Arabia, to me, is huge. Because I guarantee you by the time you get to that Wrestlemania, WrestleMania will be twice a year, right? Come on. Theyâ€ve already expanded it to get to two days.†[H/T: WrestlingNews.co]

Hurricane Helms recently shared a surprising take, naming a shocking WWE star as one of the most underrated people in the business.

In a recent post on social media, Helms quoted a photo of Akira Tozawa, who had posted on X a photo of himself in a match. In the post, Tozawa questioned how many more matches his body can handle. In the quote, Helms said Tozawa could be one of the most underrated talents on TV.

“Maybe the most underrated Talent on TV currently. Or at least in the convo,†said Helms in his post.

Fans were quick to react to the post. Many joked that Helms — a match and talent producer at WWE — should do something about it. Many also agreed, noting that Tozawa doesnâ€t seem to get the credit he deserves for his career.
