The Cleveland Cavaliers are revisiting an iconic era in their franchise history with their 2025-26 Classic Edition uniforms.

Cleveland unveiled the uniform Wednesday, a revamped version of the navy blue alternate threads the team wore from 2005 to ’10 — a period that notably includes the then-LeBron James-led 2006-07 team that made a run to the 2007 NBA Finals.
The team is also using the jerseys to celebrate the franchise’s 55th anniversary.
The look, which the Cavaliers described as an “exact replica” in a news release, features a deep navy blue base, with wine and gold retro motifs. “Cleveland” is displayed on the chest of the jersey in the team’s early 2000s-themed throwback font with a gold outline.
Players’ names and numbers are displayed in white lettering with a gold outline on the back.
The legacy lives on.

Shorts for the look include Cleveland’s iconic throwback “C” logo that features a sword piercing. Both the jersey and shorts are trimmed with the wine, navy and gold striped trim.
According to the Cavaliers, the original alternate uniforms were a nod to the “Miracle of Richfield” jerseys from the 1970s — an old-school look with white, yellow and red striped trimming that honored the 1975-76 season.
Cleveland will pair the jerseys with a Classic Edition court, which features elements from the 2000s-era Cavaliers’ hardwood.
The Cavaliers will sport the throwback look in 11 games, including during their Christmas Day matchup against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
They will debut the uniforms during their Nov. 5 home matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers.

It has been six years now since “AEW Dynamite” first launched on TNT on October 2, 2019, kicking off a run that has seen plenty of highs and lows for the promotion. Tonight, AEW will commemorate it all with their 6th Anniversary episode of “Dynamite,” featuring a loaded lineup that includes Kyle Fletcher defending the AEW TNT Title against Orange Cassidy, who replaces the injured Hologram, AEW Women’s Champion Kris Statlander teaming with Darby Allin to take on the Death Riders’ Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir, and Kenny Omega’s first AEW appearance in a month.
Though he won’t be on the card tonight, AEW star Anthony Bowens will be watching the show with great excitement, mainly because he believes there’s nothing quite as good as “AEW Dynamite” right now. Speaking with “Undisputed” ahead of tonight’s show, Bowens made several bold claims about “Dynamite,” the AEW roster, and his own future with the promotion.
“‘Dynamite is the best show on television,” Bowens said. “It’s the deepest roster, and it is the best entertainment every week. And for me on Dynamite, the best is yet to come.”
While 2025 has been seen as a comeback year for AEW as a whole, it’s been a mixed bag for Bowens, who ended his tag team with Max Caster to start the year and embarked on a singles career. After a strong start, Bowens found himself in the midst of a losing streak, while also being unable to escape Caster as the latter found himself dealing with his own struggles. The two reluctantly reunited last week on “Collision,” but despite a victory and the best efforts of Jerry Lynn, the duo remain at odds, with reconciliation appearing unlikely.

SHOW SUMMARY:PWTorch editor Wade Keller presents the weekly Flagship edition of the Wade Keller Pro Wrestling Podcast with guest co-host Jason Powell from ProWrestling.net and the Pro Wrestling Boom podcast. They discuss these topics:
- Reaction to WWE confirming today that John Cena’s final match will ve at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December and who are possible opponents that make sense for that major spot.
- Assessing Cena’s list of opponents so far including how notable it is that only one was under 39 years old (Logan Paul) so far. Is there still time for Cena to step outside his “comfort zone” and actually give back by giving a “big moment” or a boost to someone younger than, say, 35 years old?
- Thoughts on the storyline and the acting in the Asuka-Iyo Sky-Kairi Sane storyline
- Where is the Jey Uso-Jimmy Uso-Roman Reigns story headed
- Reaction to Cody Rhodes needling Seth Rollins over whether he is in favor of and in the loop on the Paul Heyman-Brock. Lesnar dynamic
- A look at AEW Dynamite’s 6th Anniversary show tomorrow night
- Should AEW even “try” next week against a big NXT show in a rare Tuesday head-to-head battle
- Assessing Ricky Saints becoming NXT Champion.
- And more (including reaction to Kirill Kaprizov signing a record contract to remain with the Minnesota Wild for eight additional years).
IN THE VIP-EXCLUSIVE AFTERSHOW
- A look at the TNA Bound for Glory PPV line-up including if Santana has shown signs he’s a good top babyface to build around as champion, the odd shake-up in the Women’s Division, the Hardy vs. Team 3D and the electric atmosphere in the Minneapolis Armory, a compelling X Division match, and more.

AEW has announced three matches for the sixth anniversary episode of Dynamite set for Wednesday, October 1.
In trios action, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Daniel Garcia of The Death Riders will take on AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page, Samoa Joe, and Powerhouse Hobbs on next week’s Dynamite. The match was made official during this week’s show.
Moxley is feuding with Darby Allin, who challenged Mox to an I Quit match at WrestleDream in the closing segment on this week’s Dynamite.
Another bout for next week’s Dynamite anniversary came out of this week’s show-closing angle, as Kris Statlander and Allin will face Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir in a mixed tag. Yuta has been trying to recruit Statlander to The Death Riders, but Statlander convincingly turned him down on Dynamite by hitting him with a lariat before escaping through the crowd.
TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher is also set to defend his title against Hologram in a title vs. streak matchup on next week’s show. Hologram is undefeated in AEW since debuting with the gimmick in July 2024.
The reunited Jurassic Express duo of Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus will also appear on next week’s anniversary episode.

Asuka is reflecting on ten years in WWE.
On social media Tuesday, the former Womenâ€s Champion wrote in detail about her goals in WWE as she enters her tenth year with the company.
“I believe that ideals and convictions, what one sets out to achieve, hold more value than what one has actually accomplished. I have obtained every record, everything there is to obtain, but these are all merely waypoints. What has universal value and beauty is pioneering a new era, possessing the power to change the times,†she wrote.

“Thatâ€s why I pursue how I can bring change and ideals to the ring, creating ‘before and after Kana†and ‘before and after Asuka.†Creating a path is far more difficult than walking down a path that others have made. And therein lies the most beautiful aesthetic of all. For me, living as a pioneer and living with conviction, philosophy, and aesthetics is a very important way of life,†she added.
Asuka signed with WWE in 2015 and made her first NXT appearance back on the September 23 edition of the program. Two years later, she made her main roster debut. Throughout the years, she has won the WWE Womenâ€s Championship three times, the Womenâ€s World Championship once, and is a four-time WWE Womenâ€s Tag Team Champion, holding the title twice with Kairi Sane as The Kabuki Warriors.
