The Sussex 4* is a sell-out, with a high-quality field set to do battle across multiple categories.
A host of talented young players will compete alongside the respective No 1 male and female veterans over the weekend of 13-14 September at the K2 venue in Crawley.
Taking on the popular Grand Prix format, the Banded events are on the Saturday, with open singles in various age groups on the Sunday.
Two England Junior internationals lead the seedings in the Men’s Singles, Larry Trumpauskas (pictured above) at the top, followed by Isaac Kingham. Nahom Asgedom and local favourite Josh Bennett complete the top four seeds.
In the Women’s Singles, Patricia Ianau, Letitia McMullan, Ewelina Sychta and Sara Williams – the No 1 veteran – are the top four.
The No 1 men’s veteran, Lorestas Trumpauskas, is also competing and may put a target on his son’s back in the Men’s Singles!
He tops the Mixed Veterans seedings, ahead of Mircea Neague, Niall Cameron and Paul Carter.
The Under-21 Men’s Singles includes three top-10 players at the top of the seedings – Trumpauskas, Kingham and Jakub Piwowar.
The corresponding women’s category is headed by Rebecca Savage, Saskia Key, Mia Lakhani and Evie Knaapen.
