The new equipment, marked DONIC, replaces older models and has been warmly welcomed by players.
The upgrade will enable the club to host local annual league tournaments as well as national events, further enhancing Stroudâ€s reputation as a thriving centre for table tennis.
The Saturday morning all-age sessions at Stratford Park are seeing record attendances, with 18 tables in action. Players have already noticed the difference.
The tables are fast and have great bounce — noticeably better than the old ones.
