The September 19 episode of WWE SmackDown is shaping up to be a major show heading into WrestlePalooza, and now there’s even more reason to tune in early.
According to Cory Hayes of Bodyslam.net, the show will open with a live interview featuring Brock Lesnar, just 24 hours before he collides with John Cena in one of the most hyped matches of the year.
Confirmed for tonight’s SmackDown:
- Brock Lesnar live interview to open the show
- Undisputed WWE Championship contract signing: Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre
- United States Championship: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Carmelo Hayes
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Chelsea Green & Alba Fyre
With the contract signing between Rhodes and McIntyre set to close out the show and Lesnar’s interview kicking it off, SmackDown is clearly being built to deliver from bell to bell.
Be sure to tune in live and follow along with Ringside News for full play-by-play coverage over in our SmackDown results section.
