Speculation On If 34-Year-Old’s WWE Debut Will Happen Against Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch has proved time and time again that she can put over talents the right way, making them bona fide WWE stars.

A most recent example of this happened at Madison Square Garden last Monday, where Maxxine Dupri finally did the unthinkable: defeat The Man to win her first title, in what was only her second pinfall victory in singles competition. Her first came all the way back in 2023.

But it did not matter, as the story was compelling enough for the NYC fans at The Garden to cheer for Dupri, whom Lynch had been mocking as someone beneath her for months.

Meanwhile, the Irish star has lately been bickering with 34-year-old referee Jessika Carr. This happened during her match with Maxxine Dupri as well, sparking speculation among fans about Carr’s potential debut. While she has already wrestled in WWE EVOLVE under a mask, her official designation in the promotion has always been that of a referee.

Is WWE Considering Becky Lynch vs. Jessika Carr In The Near Future?

With the way their arguments have been going on, the speculations were running rampant on social media. When asked whether WWE was actually building towards Becky Lynch vs. Jessika Carr, Fightful Select reported it is not pencilled in.

While Jessika Carr has worked a couple of matches this year on EVOLVE under a mask, WWE has not seriously considered it a possible storyline.

Be that as it may, considering the fact that Jessika Carr is only 34, always keeps herself in great shape, and is ready at all times, one can’t rule out this possibility entirely. The report also touched upon another reason there was potential here: being the sort of person she is, Becky Lynch would definitely find a feud with Carr interesting and might even put her over like only she can.

As for what’s next for The Man, she has volunteered to join Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend at Survivor Series: WarGames to take on Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss, only because AJ Lee was revealed to be the fifth member of the babyface team.
