WWE is gearing up for two mega events in the next two weeks. Survivor Series: WarGames is this weekend on November 29, and the other is Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII, which will feature John Cena’s last match.
To determine his final opponent, WWE set up The Last Time Is Now Tournament with 16 competitors. The latest episode of RAW featured two quarter-final matches of the tournament – Gunther vs. Carmelo Hayes and Solo Sikoa vs. Penta. The Ring General got a clean win over Hayes to proceed to the next round. The same could not be said for Sikoa and Penta.
Their match came to a halt when a botched hurricanrana off the barricade by the masked star resulted in him landing awkwardly on the mat. Medical staff immediately rushed to his side as Solo Sikoa’s frustrations were getting the best of him in the ring. The referee forced a stop to the match, and Solo Sikoa was declared the winner.

Solo Sikoa’s Explicit Rant After Controversial Ending To WWE RAW Match
Solo Sikoa did not seem pleased with the result and the referee’s decision. As he walked away from the ring, he was seen mouthing off at someone using explicit language, which possibly indicates it could have been a fan.

Penta is not the only participant of the tournament facing a medical issue. Last week, shortly before SmackDown, WWE announced Sheamus had suffered a shoulder injury. He was to face LA Knight in the next round of matches. His replacement has not officially been announced as yet. However, this weekend’s show was pre-taped for Thanksgiving weekend.
